Pucking the Shifter (Shifter World - Book Seven) (Series of 13 Short Stories)

Chapter Chapter Five: The Laboratory

“Fuck,” Alec growled as he looked at Mara’s tits. “So beautiful.” He pulled a nipple into his mouth and sucked on it.

“Alec!” she cried out as she took hold of his head and held it at her breast.

He didn’t bother with taking off his clothes. He unfastened his jeans, pulled his cock from his boxers, and lifted her off her feet. Once her legs were wrapped around his hips, he slammed into her. She screamed, and he cursed. He moved to pull out, and she tightened her legs around his waist.

“Don’t you dare leave me,” she growled.

“God, Mara, I’m sorry.” He laid his forehead against her shoulder.

“Don’t be sorry, Alec, just fuck me!” she trilled as she wiggled her hips against him.

“Fuck,” he grumbled as he started moving inside her.

“Oh, my Goddess!” she cried, her head tilted back against the door.

“You feel incredible,” he said as he continued to slam into her.

“Fuck me, Alec,” she begged.

He took hold of her hands and pinned her arms above her head, then started fucking her against the door, making them both go insane with pleasure.

“Alec!” she cried out, her orgasm capturing her—body and soul. She started shaking as her pussy milked his cock.

“Fuck!” he shouted as his own release followed hers.

“We’re definitely doing this position again,” Mara said, out of breath.

Alec chuckled as he leaned his forehead against hers.

Their wrists tingled, and they looked up at their joined hands.

“Wow,” Mara said, a hitch in her voice. “I can feel the power flowing between us.”

Alec smiled. So could he. He’d thought Raj had exaggerated it when he’d talked about it, but feeling it for himself, his friend hadn’t been close. He felt ten times as strong as he had moments ago, and his connection with his mate was stronger.

“We should fuck five times a day,” Mara said, looking at him.

Alec chuckled. “Only five?”

She grinned. “I hoped you’d say that.” She kissed him.

They spent the next thirty minutes locked together and talked about themselves as they got to know each other. When Alec slipped out of her, he lifted her into his arms and carried her to his room. They undressed each other, then slipped into bed and made love under the covers.

After he came and knotted inside her again, she cuddled against him, his cock locked inside her—and fell asleep.

Alec sighed as he kissed the top of his mate’s head. He’d never let himself think he could be a Fated Mate. It had made it easier to fuck the puck bunnies. He’s even bagged a couple shifter sluts.

Those are the women who go nuts over fucking a shifter.

He closed his eyes and breathed in his mate’s scent. She smelled like mangos. He smiled as he held her close.

When he finally slipped out of her, he rolled onto his back and pulled her against him. He slept for a few hours before he woke, wanting her so bad his cock ached. He woke her with kisses and made her cum three times with his tongue before he pushed his cock into her warmth and fucked her.

Her body responded to his in ways no other woman has or ever will. She’s his, and he’s hers. And nothing will ever be the same.

The next ten days went by fast for the Fated Mates. Too soon, it was time to go back to their witch hunt. The twins were already showing, and Pearl’s stomach was starting to pooch.

“Are you sure it’s safe to do this with you two so far along?” Mara asked as she looked from one twin to the other.

Both women smiled as they placed their hands over their stomachs.

“The doctor said we’re showing so much because it’s twins, and yes, we’ll be fine.” Josie smiled.

“I bet your doctor gets a kick out of treating the both of you.” Alec chuckled. He still couldn’t tell the two women apart.

Both women shrugged.

“He’d suggested we wear name tags for the nurse’s sake.” Maddy grinned.

Josie chuckled. “We both know it’s so he doesn’t mix us up again.”

“He mixed you up?” Mara asked.

The twins nodded.

“He gave Josie the shot that was meant for me.”

“Good thing we were both getting the same shot.” Josie chuckled.

“This is why we insisted on going with them,” Rolando said, placing his arm over Maddy’s shoulders.

“How do you two tell them apart?” Alec asked, looking between Rolando and Dominic.

“Easy.” Dominic kissed Josie on the cheek.

“Do they smell different?” Mara asked.

“No, they both smell like tangerines,” Rolando said with a smile as he sniffed his mate’s hair.

“We can tell them apart because our cubs smell different.” Dominic chuckled.

The twins gave Dominic a dirty look, and both their mates laughed.

“He’s kidding.” Rolando kissed his mate’s cheek. “Though he isn’t lying.”

“No. We can tell them apart because we know how our mates look, smell, and feel,” Dominic said with a smile as he nuzzled his mate’s neck.

“But don’t they look, smell, and feel the same?” Mara asked.

Dominic and Rolando looked at her.

“Maybe to everyone else,” Dominic said.

Rolando nodded. “But we know our mate, and we’d never mix them up.”

“They’re telling the truth.” Maddy smiled.

Josie chuckled. “We’ve tested them.”

Maddy nodded. “Yep, we’ve switched places, even in bed.”

Mara laughed with the twins.

“That’s fucked,” Alec said, looking at the two men mated to the twins.

Both men shrugged and laughed.

“We figured it out pretty quickly,” Rolando said as he pulled his mate against him. “Didn’t we?”

Maddy smiled. “Yes, they did. Josie and I had never been so happy or proud of our mates as we were that night.”

“Everyone ready?” Pearl asked as she and the others entered the house.

“Ready as we’ll ever be,” Maddy said as they turned to the witch.

“Amirah is with the cubs, so we’re ready,” Shar said as she and Lyvia walked into the living room.

“Okay,” Pearl said as she walked into the middle of the room. “I know where another Coven is that has been doing illegal things to shifters….”

“Like what?” Alec asked.

She looked at him. “Like dissecting them and selling their blood as a steroid.”

“What?!” everyone shouted as they jumped to their feet.

“This has got to end!” Daryl thundered.

“Agreed.” Pearl nodded. “That’s why the elders put this into our hands.”

“Is this what we’re meant to do as Fated Mates?” Mara asked.

Pearl looked at her. “This whole war is to protect Supernaturals. And yes, before our children fight, we are to help by taking out as many enemies as we can….”

“I didn’t mean that I disapprove,” Mara said, holding up her hands. She’d heard the edge in the witch’s voice. “I was only asking if this is our purpose, other than having the children who will lead the future war.”

Pearl nodded. “Sorry, I’m a bit agitated. Between hormones and dark witches and wizards, my nerves are fried.” She took a deep breath. “So, to answer your question. Yes, this is what we’re meant to do—at least for now.”

“I would rather take them out now, then our children have to deal with them as well as the humans and Supernaturals who’ll rally against them,” Shar said as she looked behind her—toward the nursery.

“I get it,” Mara whispered, placing her hand over her still flat stomach.

“Let’s go,” Pearl said as she headed for the door. “The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we can come home.”

“This isn’t a club,” Dustin said as he looked at the stone building in front of them.

“Laboratory,” Pearl said, looking at the others. “Everyone ready?”

“I’m ready,” Alec said, cracking his knuckles.

Mara grinned. The last time she’d helped take out a coven, she hadn’t had her mate yet, and now she’s stronger and more ready than ever. “Ready.” She nodded.

“Let’s go,” Pearl said once everyone confirmed they were ready.

They found themselves in a waiting room shortly after walking through the front double doors of the building.

“Can I help you….” The woman stopped talking as she stared at the group of shifters, humans, and vampires.

“Yeah, we’re here to shut you down,” Pearl said, taking a step toward the woman.

“White witch,” the woman growled.

“Dark witch.” Pearl shrugged her shoulders. “That gets tedious.” She pulled a bolt from behind her back and threw it at the woman.

The dark witch sucked in a shocked breath as she fell to the floor, her hands on the bolt lodged in her chest.

“Pearl,” Dylan hissed.

Pearl looked at her mate. “She would have informed the others we’re here and ruined our surprise.” She walked over to the dead witch, pulled the bolt from the woman’s chest, and then tossed it to her mate. “You’ll need that, love,” she said, pointing to the elevators. “Shall we?”

The group couldn’t fit in the elevator, so they split into two groups. Once they were all on the fifth floor, Pearl led them to a room.

“Are you sure this is right?” Dylan asked as he walked beside his mate.

Pearl looked at him with a sad smile. “If you had the same dream for a week, you would be sure too.”

Dylan frowned, then pulled her against his side and kissed the top of her head.

“Here we are,” Pearl said as they stopped in front of a door that said restricted.

“Is everyone ready?” Daryl asked as he moved to stand between Pearl and the door.

Everyone nodded, and Daryl opened the door.

“Holy fucking hell,” Daryl cursed as he moved into the room.

Everyone followed him and sucked in breaths at the sight before them.

“Holy fuck,” Lyvia cursed.

“This can’t be real,” Mara whispered as she looked around the room at men, women, and children in different contraptions.

Some were in pods, some in cages, some strapped to a bed, and some hung upside down, their wrists and throats slit.

“What do we do with the bodies?” Shar asked—her voice barely under control.

“It’s okay, little mama.” Tate placed his arm over Shar’s shoulders.

“Let’s get the healthiest ones out of here first.” Pearl walked over to a bed where a small child lay, her hands strapped to the bed.

“No,” the girl cried when she opened her eyes and saw Pearl.

“It’s okay,” Pearl whispered. “I’m a good witch.”

“No,” the girl cried. “You’re going to hurt me like you hurt my mommy.”

Pearl growled, and the girl cried out.

Dylan placed his hand on Pearl’s shoulder and smiled at the little girl. “Look into my eyes, sweetheart.”

The girl looked into his silver eyes and smiled. “You’re like me.”

He nodded. “And we’re here to rescue you. This is my mate. She’s a white witch.”

The girl looked at Pearl, her eyes wide in wonder. “Like Glenda?”

“Like who?” Gerald asked from across the room.

“Glenda, the good witch from The Wizard of Oz,” Pearl said with a smile. “Yes, I’m good, like her.”

The girl nodded and let Pearl unstrap her from the bed.

“How are we going to get them out of here?” Alec asked as he untied a man with a steady heartbeat.

“Tate?” Pearl asked, looking at the vampire. “Can you and Bridget get everyone out of here at once if I place a spell to help?”

Tate looked at Bridget, who nodded.

“I think so,” he said, looking back at Pearl.

“Good, let’s get everyone who’s well enough into the middle of the room.” Pearl lifted the girl off the bed and handed her to her mate. “Take her; I’m going to look for her mother.”

Dylan nodded as he took the girl from her.
