Prophecy Of Doom

Chapter 41:

In Amara’s head: A veil of darkness obscures my vision but I can sense a malevolent presence. This is what The Seyah meant when he said a fate worse than death is awaiting us. I’ll be trapped in my own mind but something else will control everything I do and I won’t be able to stop it. I wanna know what I ever did to deserve this fate. What was my fault that since childhood I never found happiness or peace and now this.

Unknown: “Your resistance only fuels my amusement. You didn’t ask why I want only your body out of all the other creatures.”

Amara: “Why?”

Unknown: “Because you're way more powerful than you think, heiress. Creating you was the biggest gamble your God took. The powers you have unraveled are nothing compared to what’s still hidden. You've just scratched the surface. Don’t worry, when I take control of your body I’ll use all of our power to destroy those who have caused me discomfort and I’ll conquer your world. I’m not gonna stay in your body for too long. With your powers and mind combined, I’ll make myself my desired body.”

Amara: “So you’ll let me go after that?”

Unknown: “No. Where would you go? There’ll be no one for you except me. You think your mate can keep you happy? You think he'll stay by you for eternity? I’ll clear this misconception of yours by killing your mate first. I’ll show you what true eternity with someone powerful like me feels like. I want you beside me as my queen and I’ll conquer all existing worlds. You’ll be mine. You’re meant to be. You’re born for me and you’re the only one who’s powerful enough to bear my children, heiress. Your body can endure whatever I’m gonna put you through.”

In Amara’s head: When his last words reached my ears, I felt something inside me twisting and turning and getting unleashed and I couldn’t stop my laughter from escaping my mouth.

Unknown: “What do you find so amusing, heiress?”

Amara: “You said you’ve been watching me all my life yet you said these things. You did the one thing you should’ve never done. Didn’t you see what fate all those men met who had tried to lay their filthy hands on me? What I did to them? Don’t you know what I do to people who threaten to force me to do something I don’t wanna do? All these years you watched me, yet you don’t understand the extent of which I protect myself. I’m grateful you said those things because I’m ready to accept my fate. I was ready to give up but after hearing those words...you just unleashed the most evil part of my mind.”

In Amara’s head: I felt a power surge of anger building within me. It was unlike anything I’ve felt in the past. I channel my energy, focusing it into a single, potent blast. arcane energy crackles around me, illuminating my silhouette with an ethereal glow.

Unknown: “You can’t escape. You’re mine to control, forever.”

In Amara’s head: I launched a ferocious attack against the evil God who has held my mind captive. With a burst of force, I unleashed it towards the invisible presence. That tax slices through the air tearing at the fabric of the curse dimension.

Unknown: “NO…it can’t be?! Your powers…”

In Amara’s head: The evil Gods voice trembles with anguish as my attack connects, even though I can’t see my enemy. I feel the vibration of his pain through my being, a confirmation that my power has struck true. My determination grows stronger as I feel the invisible creature retreating, wounded by my unseen assault. I gather more power, my body glowing brighter as I tap into the depths of my suppressed abilities. Swirling tempest of energy forms around me, swirling and pulsating with me every moment.

Amara: “You shouldn’t have threatened me to make me your whore and you shouldn’t have threatened to kill my mate. You call yourself a God? Let’s see how much pain a God can endure.”

Unknown: “Stop! Cease this resistance, heiress.”

In Amara’s head: His voice weakens. His once confident tone now tamed desperation. He attempts to regain control but I refuse to yield. I press forward, my invisible power is crashing against his invisible form, sending shock waves of pain coursing through his essence. I’m done with people telling me what my fate is. I’m done doing what people ask me to do. I’m gonna write my own fate. I feel my powers intensify, becoming an unstoppable force. The evil Gods scream of agony echo through the abyss and I can’t tell how soothing it was for my soul. The abyss itself trembles, my physical attacks overwhelming the evil gods’ defenses. The veil of darkness surrounding me begins to waver, revealing glimpses of the evil Gods form, twisted and disoriented and pain.

Amara: “You’re no God, you filthy creature. No one will open the door of this world again. You’re gonna rot in here for all eternity.”

In Amara’s head: Finally, the evil God can bear it no longer. With one final howl of anguish, His presence dissipates fading into nothingness. (back on earth)

Ryan: “AMARA!!”

Amara: “I’m fine, those creatures, they're all gone.”

Ryan: “You scared the hell out of me.”

Amara: “I’m really sorry, I thought that was the only way.”

Ryan: “Never do that again.”

Amara: “I won’t. Craven…we can’t let him escape.”

Luca’s Mindlink: “Alpha, we need you.”

Amara: “Go, I’ll be fine. I promise. (in the forest). Running like a coward…Craven?”

In Craven’s head: How the fuck did she survive?

Amara: “How does it feel to see your empire on fire? LOOK AT ME!! You worked hard…you gave so much to see me dead. Look at me, I’m still alive and I’m the one who destroyed everything you built for millennia. I’m your death. I’m the retribution of all your sins and I’m your punisher. You killed my people and you killed hundreds of thousands. Watching you trembling with fear gives my heart a sense of peace I can’t describe. You’re gonna remember this moment, because this memory is gonna haunt you even after death claims you. I’ll haunt you for all eternity. And the irony is, you’re the one who made me. I had no idea nor any plans of going down this road. But you did this to me, you forced me to set free all the darkness I had kept chained and the deepest pit hole of my being. One of your own killed my brother, the person I cherished the most. He was my sanity…you did this to me. But let me make one thing clear. I’m giving you death but it wouldn’t be a reward. You’re gonna meet another version of me. I can assure you, he’s less ruthless than me but he’ll take care of you just fine.”

Craven: “You think I’m the real destroyer, heiress? Take a look in the mirror. It’s you…your fate is to destroy everything. I was the protector, heiress. I was protecting this world from you!”

Amara: “I wouldn’t destroy anything.”

Craven: “Even if the world destroys one of your own?”

Amara: “Keep talking, Craven…it may help you shiver less. But it won’t protect you from your inevitable fate.”

Cvraven: “Just like no one can protect this world from its inevitable fate.”

Amara: “I can’t keep the angel of death waiting any longer or else I would’ve listened to your bullshit. But don’t worry, maybe my other version would be a good listener and he’ll listen to the lame excuses of your sins and keep punishing you for all eternity. (outside the castle in the fields)”

In Ryan’s head: The battlefield lay strewn with fallen bodies, a testament to the ferocity of the conflict that had unfolded. Amidst the sobs, and carnage, my heart pounded with trepidation and hope, then I caught sight of the woman I was craving to see. She stood amidst the aftermath of the battle, her figure shrouded in a crimson veil, a canvas of both beauty and brutality. As my gaze settled upon her, I could hardly believe what I saw. Her body was adorned with wounds, a testament to the torture she’d faced. Blood dripped from her, each drop a testament to her unwavering determination and the sheer power she possessed. My eyes caught sight of what she was holding, it was Craven’s head in her hand. In that moment, I knew she wasn’t just a warrior, a warrior queen of unyielding strength. A surge of emotions swelled within me intertwining like a symphony of reverence, and admiration. My heart swelled with a deep sense of pride for I had witnessed her prowess first hand. I had seen her channel the very essence of her being, transforming into a force to be reckoned with. She had fought not for herself, but for all creatures and the future they aspired to create. A silent hush fell upon the battlefield as others became aware of her presence. The survivors, weary and bottle warm, cast their days upon her, their eyes reflecting the same mix of emotions that surged within him. They recognized her valor sacrifice, her indomitable experience just like she recognized theirs. One by one, men and women who had fought alongside her, the survivors, drawn by an innate understanding, knelt in reverence before her. Their bodies sink to the blood soaked earth, knees meeting the ground as a profound sense of gratitude. It was an act thorn not of obligation or duty, but of genuine admiration and respect for the indescribable strength she had displayed. (Ryan kneels). Silence envelopes the same, broken by the soft whisper of the wind. In that moment, she stood as their protector, they’re guiding light and they’re unwavering champions. The weight of their collective gaze, filled with hopes and dreams, settled upon her shoulders, acknowledging her as their queen. Her eyes, weary aflame with determination, scan the faces before her, each pair marked by the tears, exhaustion, and unwavering loyalty. Her voice, as soft as a lullaby and as resolute as a battle cry, broke the stillness, resonating that commanded attention.

Amara: “Rise, warriors. Each one of you deserves respect and obeisance, we wouldn’t have seen the victory and the fall of this cursed empire without the brave hearts beating in your chest. In the unity of our purpose. Together, we have triumphed, and together we shall forge a path toward a better tomorrow.”

In Ryan’s head: Those words, the battlefield once again stirred with life. Bodies rose from the ground, weariness replaced by renewed vigor. The wounded, guided by the strength she had inspired, found the will to continue their fight. In her, they had found a beacon of hope, a leader to follow and a guardian to protect their hopes and dreams. In her, they had found not just a protector, but a force of nature. A living testament to a triumph of the brave spirit amongst the darkest of odds.

Ryan: “Everyone’s dead.”

Amara: “Only our enemies, right?”

Ryan: “I never anticipated this war to be over like this, we didn’t lose even one of our men. History is gonna remember you as the only Queen who destroyed such a empire without losing a man.”

Amara: “They better remember that I didn’t do it alone. There was a king…her king who helped her and made all of this possible. But one person is still missing. Darien.”

Ryan: “And Silvia.”

Amara: “Silvia isn’t here, but she’s hiding somewhere else. But Darien was here hours ago. I need to find him.”

Ryan: “I’m coming with you.”

Amara: “Then who will take care of the survivors? They need to get medical aid. These people need you, one of us has to stay here. The survivors need all the help they can get. Lead them home. They need you, I’ll be back soon.”

In Ryan’s head: Just like that, she’s gone. Even though she’s right, my heart still doesn’t wanna let her vanish for a second. I know she’s capable of dealing with any threat but still, my mind will keep killing me with all the worries about her safety and then in time like this I just wish we were just normal humans. (fifteen minutes later in the woods)

In Amara’s head: What the hell is this? (three dead bodies)

Amara: “Darien…what are you doing here? What did you do to these people?”

Darien: “Sacrifice…was…needed.”

In Amara’s head: The fuck? He says some trance type of state but that’s not the creepy part. The creepy part is, I can’t read his mind. He has no memory or thoughts to read. It’s as if someone erased everything from his mind. How is this possible? What happened? He said sacrifice…but for who? What a shame…this rotten creature killed my brother. I wanted to kill him more than anything but he seems like he’s already dead and death would be a reward. Craven did this to him and what his useless excuse of a father was doing at the time. Enjoying the show? He let him do this to his own son?

Amara: “You were rotten anyway, Darien. Now you’ll just have to rot in hell, I guess.”

In Amara’s head: A new day. (the castle’s main area)

Amara: “Rise!!”

Margot: “You killed us!!”

Amara: “Did I? Then how are you still breathing?”

In Amara’s head: I just commanded them to hold their breath briefly and faint.

Amara: “If I wanted to kill you both, I would’ve done it years ago but as I made myself clear that I want you both to live. Come to your hell hole. I mean your house is waiting. I have one important thing to do. (somewhere unknown Silvia’s room). Knock knock. Did you miss me? I know you were waiting for me. Just so you know, I kept my promise. I told you I’d find you when I was done with each member of your family and I did.”

In Silvia’s head: No, this can’t be. She can’t find me.

Amara: “But I did. Now open the door because the longer you keep me waiting, the more painful your death will be. So open the door willingly and accept your fate, just away you all force me to accept mine. (two days later Amara’s room)”

In Amara’s head: Diavolo didn’t let me leave this room for two days. He didn’t let me out of his sight for even a second. I can’t blame him, he saw my lifeless assaulted body like that and I know how I felt when that creature threatened to kill him. Diavolo lived that nightmare when he felt the meatball breaking and no matter how much I assure him nothing’s going to happen to me the fear in his eyes won’t go away. We can’t stay inside forever. The people we saved most of them returned to their pack and the rest of them stayed here. They want to join this pack so we have a lot of work to do and there’s one thing that can’t wait…but before that, I wanna talk to The Seyah. As expected Diavolo didn’t take it well but I can’t blame him.

Amara: “Don’t be like that, Diavolo. You know he won’t hurt me.”

Ryan: “Yes, no one could hurt you yet somehow you got hurt. You nearly died and got captured by an evil god. He wanted to make you his queen? I wanna kill him.”

Amara: “And for that, he’s trapped in that cursed world forever.”

Ryan: “He also wanted you to bear his children. These thoughts are making my skin crawl in the rage I’m feeling right now you won’t understand, Amara.”

Amara: “Really? ‘Amara’? I thought you called me ‘love’? Just like I call you Ryan.”

Ryan: “You don’t call me Ryan.”

Amara: “But I do. Did you forget that night when you was de-”

Ryan: “Yes you do.”

Amara: “You don’t wanna remember that night? Was that bad?”

Ryan: “You know it’s quite the opposite and my control is hanging by a thread right now and you’re not helping, love.”

Amara: “Why are you controlling yourself then? I didn’t ask you to control yourself.”

In Ryan’s head: Fuck.

In Amara’s head: With that, he closed all the distance between us. We stayed in this room for two days but he kept me in his arms rubbing my back and nothing else. He didn’t claim my mouth, didn’t let his hand roam my body the way I wanted. I wanted to ask what he was thinking and why he's controlling himself. I didn’t ask. I wanted him to tell me himself when he was ready. He lifted my chin he asked me with his deep seductive voice…

Ryan: “Tell me what you want.”

Amara: “I want you. I want you to make love to me.”

Ryan: “What if I don’t wanna make love to you? What if I wanna claim you, devour you so no filthy God can ever put a claim on you? What if I wanna mark every inch of your body so no one could ever erase my marks off you? What if I wanna be raw and not gentle with you? Does that scare you?”

Amara: “You don’t scare me. I don’t mind getting claimed by you.”

Ryan: “That’s all I needed to hear. (the next day Seyah’s place)”

The Seyah: “Why are you here again?”

Amara: “Why didn’t you tell me about the evil gods plan?”

The Seyah: “Because I didn’t know. I told you that a fate worse than death was awaiting you. but you escaped it successfully, you should celebrate.”

Amara: “What else are you not telling me?”

The Seyah: “I can answer when you ask the question, heiress. And since I’m feeling generous today because of the souls you fed me, you can ask as many as you want.”

Amara: “The evil God said I scratched the surface of my powers, is that the truth?”

The Seyah: “You know he was. Didn’t you feel the ocean crushing inside you? Don’t you recall your past, heiress? The time when you jumped off the burning jet that you set fire to and fell into the ocean…how did you survive? How did you come to shore without breaking a sweat heiress? Did you grow a tail and fins that time or was the water feeling generous that day? Or how did you come out of a burning house unscratched? Did you forget it too? Was the fire afraid to touch you? You witnessed everything with your own eyes yet you’d brushed it off every time. You say something is wrong with your head? Stop running away from yourself, heiress. Embrace everything you’re given. You should be ready. As you know everything comes at a price. What’s the price of your powers? Do you think you’ve paid the price or there are things still coming your way? I suggest you be ready. God loves to play with his favorite puppet.”

Amara: “I’m not a fucking puppet.”

The Seyah: “Tell it to those who need to hear it. And next time I won’t be generous to answer all your questions, heiress. Unless you pay me with something I can’t refuse.”

Amara: “And what would that be?”

The Seyah: “How about your first born?”

Amara: “How about I strangle you with your own tail?”

The Seyah: “You deadly little creature. (Ryan’s office)”

Amara: “You all must be thinking, what’s so important that we summoned you all here? We might be free from The Legion but we’re not free. Something lethal is coming our way and we need to stop it before it becomes inevitable. As you know for a few months, people have been disappearing. Not just werewolves but witches and vampires as well. The information isn’t entirely true. It’s been happening for years but everyone thought The Legion was behind it all but not every kidnapping that had occurred was carried out by The Legion. Someone else was working in the shadow of The Legion. And no one actually paid attention to them. The Authority.”

Walter: “What? What would they get by kidnapping us?”

Amara: “They would get rid of us all. They’ve been experimenting on these species for years. They’ve been trying to combine their abilities to make something that could kill all three. Something that only they could control and something that could be destroyed after the purpose is served.”

Luca: “So what are we gonna do now? Attack them? How would we release all those people? Do you know where they are? If yes, then let’s go release them.”

Amara: “We can’t save them even though I know where they are. There’s nothing left of them. A month ago I managed to get inside the facility and the things I saw there were inhumane. The people were just breathing but not alive. No memory, no emotions, they were getting trained like puppets. One of them was your son, Alpha Bane. When I saw you that day for the first time you looked familiar and after talking to Diavolo It got confirmed that your son was missing for the last six months.”

Alpha Bane: “You saw my child? How is he? Please take me to him, I wanna see him. My wife would be relieved that we finally found him. No. Please tell me you can save him. My son isn’t like the rest of the people there. He still remembers everything, right? He’d remember me when he sees me, I’m sure. I’m his father.”

Amara: “You all have received a video, please watch it.”

Doc: “Subject 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005 are moving towards training room 4. subject 1006 couldn’t survive the serum, send someone to get rid of the body.”

In Doc4’s head: Let’s see what they can do.”

Doc4: “Attack!! (present time)”

Luca: “How could they do such things to us? Just because we are different?”

Alpha Bane: “Please tell me you can save my son.”

Amara: “I’m afraid I can’t. The damage they have done is irreversible, I can’t undo it.”

Ryan: “And we’ve called you here to make a decision. A meeting has been arranged with The Regime. We’re gonna ask them to stop this madness. and to destroy the lab with everyone in it. We can’t risk any of them to escape but one of them is your son, you have the right to make the final call.”

Alpha Bane: “Can I see him first?”

Amara: “You will. (later that night in Amara’s room). What are you doing? Don’t tell me that you’re proposing.”

Ryan: “I’ll be damned if I propose to you like this in our room but it is a ring. It was my mom’s, my father gave it to her when things got pretty intense and her safety was at risk. She gave it to me to give it to the woman I’d fall for. I don’t know if it can really keep you safe but if you would wear it my heart would be at peace.”

Amara: “I would love to wear it. It’s beautiful.”

Ryan: “Well, humans call it a red diamond but we call it an Eternal stone. May I?”

In Ryan’s head: I love you, Amara. There’s absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do to have you in my arms everyday, every moment. I see your beautiful smile. There are no lines, no boundaries I wouldn’t cross to be with you. to spend the rest of my life with you, to taste those lips of yours every chance I get.

In Amara’s head: I love you. I don’t know what the future holds for us as long as you’re with me, I won’t stop fighting. I wouldn’t stop fighting to be in your arms again, nothing can keep me away from you. My love for you transcends time and space and all known and unknown boundaries, it’s eternal. (the next morning)

President: “Why did we agree to this meeting? We have other important matters to discuss other than listening to these filthy creatures.”

Ryan: “Careful, Mr. President. These filthy creatures get offended and you wouldn’t like to see their fangs and claws, would you?”

Greg: “We thought you were coming to beg but you started threatening without even wasting a second.”

Amara: “We had a change of heart.”

Greg: “What is a woman doing here? Is she the payment of…”

Ryan: “Careful how you talk to her. You’ll leave this world sooner than you anticipated if you would talk to the queen like that.”

Greg: “Queen? What are you, Diavolo? The King? Did you give yourself these titles?”

Amara: “Our people gave it to us when we freed them from a tyrant. I think you know them. Craven…The Legion. They're all resting in hell. My condolences after all, he was your old friend.”

Greg: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Amara: “Don’t burn your calories lying. I have videos of you doing all the chit chats with him. Let’s get one thing clear, we’re not here to beg. We’re here to present conditions, which we hope you will agree to willingly. We’re here as the representatives of all supernatural creatures.”

President: “Do you even know who you’re talking to?”

Amara: “I’m talking to the representative of mortals. Make no mistake Mr. President, you’re no one to us.”

Ryan: “Let’s get to business, shall we?”

Greg: “We are not going to accept any-”

President: “No, let’s hear it.”

Ryan: “Wise decision. There are only two things we want. We want you to issue the order to terminate Project Black Nector right now and blow up that whole laboratory with every subject in it.”

President: “I have no clue what you’re talking about.”

Amara: “Cut the bullshit. We know The Regime has been carrying out these operations for years now. You people have been kidnapping werewolves, vampires and witches to combine their abilities to create something sinister. Something you could control and use against us to perish us all.”

President: “And?”

Ryan: “And we want you to stop this madness right now.”

President: “And if we refuse?”

Amara: “Then we’ll get someone else to do it. Like the vice president, he’s a wise man. I’m sure he’ll understand what’s at stake.”

President: “He doesn’t have the authority I have.”

Aara: “But what if the office of President falls vacant? Then the vice president becomes the president. Then he’ll have the authority to stop this, won’t he?”

President: “I don’t think it’ll be possible since I’m alive and well.”

Amara: “Do you remember what happened on November 22nd two years ago?”

In the President’s head: There’s no way she can know about that.

Amara: “I mean of course you do, that’s today everything changed for you. The former president got murdered and you became the president. That’s what everyone knows but they don’t know that they’re beloved president was murdered by you.”

President: “What the fuck are you talking about?”

Greg: “These are some wild accusations, I can have you arrested right now.”

Amara: “Go ahead but before your men even touch me, the video clip of your so-called president and the hitman would end up on each and every cell phone in the country.”

In Ryan’s head: I don’t know who I love more. Her or that beautiful brain of hers. When she told me yesterday she knew the former president was murdered by the man standing in front of us and that she had evidence, I couldn’t believe her. She told me about the world we live in, everything is getting recorded and that data can be retrieved if you have the skilled fingers and brain to dig deeper.

Amara: “So who’s gonna touch me? I’m waiting.”

President: “You’re bluffing, you have no such evidence.”

Amara: “The hitman’s name is Victor Antonov. The evening you met him you were wearing a blue tux and he was in ripped jeans and a black jacket. I have the transaction details, if investigated these all will lead to you. Do you still think I’m bluffing?”

President: “Do you think killing me will stop this? It won’t, those weapons are ready and will be unleashed at your people any day. You deserve to die, you and your filthy people don’t belong here. Humans don’t want to share this world with creatures like you.”

Amara: “Don’t give me this crap. I’ve lived eighteen years of my life like a human and not like the elite class but on the streets. If you think humans want war then you’re wrong. They want food on their table, clothes on their bodies, and a peaceful life. They’re struggling each day to survive in this world; only those who have plenty of money think about war. Those pathetic people like you don’t even have the balls to fight the war. They hire those poor people to fight for them who don’t really wanna fight but they don’t have any other choice and you have absolutely no right to claim this world as yours. Those filthy creatures you’re referring to have been here since the beginning. The weapons you’re talking about…they’re fucking zombies, they’re alive but in their mind is in control that’s what you think. Imagine if the control gets loose and they regain their conscience but they wouldn’t be how they used to be. They’ll have no memory of their past life, they’ll be the monsters that you have created and when those monsters run loose on the streets only the humans will get perished because I’m gonna keep my people safe one way or another. How are you gonna keep your people safe? Why am I asking such a stupid question? You don’t care about your people at all. If something falls beyond your understanding you just tend to destroy them. But in this case, you’ll end up destroying the entire human race. So go ahead, let this dance of blood and death get started.”

President: “There’s no way I’m gonna make an agreement with you.”

Greg: “You heard Mr. President, leave now.”

Amara: “What if we both killed you right here?”

President: “You’ll be foolish to do that. We have so many cameras and evidence.”

Amara: “What cameras? Since the moment we came here, no camera has been working. This room is locked by magic. Your security and team are banging on all the doors, shouting, two choppers outside Special Forces are gonna arrive in a few seconds but you can’t hear them, can you?”

President: “You’re lying.”

Amara: “I don’t lie and just for you to know, no one actually saw us coming here. So there’s no evidence.”

President: “Go ahead, kill us. But all humans will know that creatures like you exist and they’ll be the ones who will be out to kill each and every one of you.”

Amara: “They won’t try to kill us because they’ll be busy fighting their own war. It’s easy to set one country against another if you know the right codes if you know what I mean Mr. President.”

President: “You wouldn’t do that.”

Amara: “I don’t wanna choose between humans and supernatural creatures. It’s you who’s provoking us. you’re the one who wants war. So you’ll get one.”

President: “What’s your second clause?”

Ryan: “Doctor Benjamin Abram…we want him.”

President: “You wanna kill him and you want me to give him to you?”

Ryan: “He experimented on us like we’re lab rats. He killed thousands. He has to pay.”

Amara: “Your head will stay intact in your body, isn’t that all that matters to you?”

President: “We have an agreement. The laboratory will turn to ashes by tomorrow with every subject in it. All the staff will vacate today. And Dr. Abram’s is yours.”

Amara: “We’ll be watching that place ourselves. We wanna meet one of the subjects.”

President: “Why?”

Amara: “Since you forgot, those creatures had a family before you erased their memory and made them lab rats. (two days later on the beach)”

In Ryan’s head: Alpha Bane met his son, it was heart-wrenching for him and his wife, for all of us. It was difficult to make peace with the fact that all those wolves, vampires, and witches can’t be saved. Alpha Bane supported our decision and that whole place turned to ashes with everyone in it. Or that’s what we thought.

Amara: “You asked me once if revenge would bring you peace. Now I know it doesn’t.”

Emmett: “But it does provide us the courage to move on to the next chapter. If I hadn’t avenged my son, I would’ve never found Arnold or my second chance at a mate who also happens to be one of Arnold’s mothers. I lost one family and found another. Fate has twisted ways to surprise us but it became possible because of you. You’re a savior and you should know wherever your brother is, he’s proud of you.”

Amara: “I just wish I could hear his voice calling me, ‘little one’ one more time.”

Emmett: “The body dies but the soul doesn’t. I’m sure he’s at peace.”

Amara: “I know he is…with his beloved wife.”

Emmett: “A King is nothing without his Queen. We all need you.”

Amara: “I never wanted all of this.”

Emmett: “That’s why you've been chosen by God and by people. You both are our protectors. We trust you and we can kill and die for you. (later that night in the library)”

Amara: “So you’ll just…turn into dust?”

Circe: “Oh no. Only my body but my soul will go to the spirit realm where all my sisters and family are. We’re bound by this prophecy, we were given the task to protect you so you could protect those who needed protection. Our task is done and we lived way more than any immortal should live.”

Amara: “I know, you deserve to rest now.”

Circe: “Let me go put these books where they belong.”

In Amara’s head: Circe starts whistling a tune.

Amara: “Where did you hear that too?”

Circe: “Oh this? This is ancient. When I was a little girl I used to hear this too, every story night held in our village.”

In Amara’s head: And here I thought I’m the one who came up with this tune.

Circe: “This tune comes with a song. A song of bloodshed and bravery and a warrior that changed the course of history. It was about the ancient war that was fought for ‘Alrhena’. (two days later after a party by in the backyard)”

In Amara’s head: Everything seems to be falling into place. No more threats. All packs, covens are at peace. All the new members of the pack seem to adjust to their new lifestyle. I can’t imagine what they went through and how long it’ll take for them to be normal again. Diavolo and I decided to hire some therapists for them, they deserve to heal. And see what life has to offer. But even though everything seems right, something is making me feel uneasy.”

Unknown Girl: “That’s who we were looking for?”

Unknown Man: “Yes, that energy came from her. Although it can’t be seen, remnants are still there.”
