Primitive Instinct: The Journey Home

Putting up the huge and heavy tent was an all-day thing. The frame was easy enough to get upright, but getting the hide on the bones was interesting. Roar, of course, made it look easy. And very, very sexy when he dropped from the bone after it was finally up covered in a light sweat.

“Keep looking at me like that, wife, and we’ll be putting this tent of ours to very good use much sooner than planned,” he said softly in my ear, and I groaned.

“You can’t say things like that and then expect me to just... not,” I complained, making him smirk as he took the cup of water that I had brought for him.

“It might be up, but it’s not finished just yet,” he laughed and went to the sled to get his ax. “We have work to do still, wife.”

We went to the forest and selected the poles that would serve as inner support and storage, and I kept staring at Roar as he worked. He truly was a very attractive male and I had missed him while he was gone.

“Fern,” Roar said, and I blinked, seeing him standing beside a stump after the tree had fallen. I hadn’t even noticed it; I was that concentrated on watching him.

His pupils were wide, and I knew that usually meant great things for me and I made a choked whimpering sound that made them expand even more. The ax was dropped, and I was suddenly being backed into another tree as Roar pulled at the belt on my pants while I toed my shoes off.

“The way you look at me drives me mad,” he growled as he shoved my pants down and then off before I pulled his belt loose.

He picked me up with a growl and I wrapped my legs around him as he pushed his own pants down enough to free himself, then lowered me onto his shaft. He rammed into me mercilessly and all I could do was hold on as the desperate need claimed both of us. It was rough and hard and quick, but the orgasm was like a bomb went off as Roar claimed my mouth so my cries wouldn’t bring others.

With a snarl, he ripped himself out of me before he came, no doubt marking the tree I had been pressed against. We caught our breath before he put me on my feet so we could dress again. As soon as my pants were on, Roar grabbed me around the waist and kissed me deeply.

“I want to start binding with you,” he told me. “It... annoys me to have to remove myself so we don’t grow a kit.”

“Then we should finish our tent, shouldn’t we?” I smiled and kissed him.

We dragged the tree back and started to remove the branches and shave the bark, keeping both for our fire pit later. By the time the day was over, we had managed to get our supplies inside, though they weren’t put away, and Roar had made us a bed frame and fire pit.

I was touched that Roar had done what he said he would and made Diesel a room that was separate from us. And, even with the bed and fire pit and all of our supplies on the floor and not hanging out of the way, there was a lot of room inside. ‘For our kit’ the hunter had said.

He did not wait long after the flap closed behind us to begin making that kit. I had no complaints on the matter. Even as we waited through the third binding of the evening, I only had happiness in me.

“You take no chances, do you?” I smiled lazily up at Roar.

“I’m pretty sure you have already started growing our kit,” he chuckled and kissed all over my face lightly. “I enjoy feeling my wife’s excitement and it would seem you find my binding very exciting.”

“I do,” I nodded seriously, and he laughed, moving his hips forward slightly so I moaned at the feeling.

“I noticed,” he growled playfully. “My wife is insatiable.”

“Are you complaining?” I laughed.

“Not at all. I am taking it as a challenge, actually. How many more times can you take my binding before you tell me you’ve had enough?” he asked.

“I don’t know, but there’s only one way to find out,” I grinned, and he laughed again before rocking forward again.

“The look of such pleasure on your face is something I will never tire of seeing,” he told me.

“Mammoths bring wonderful gifts,” I told him, and he chuckled.

“Yes, my wife. They truly do.”
