President's Genius Son

Chapter 44: Don’t Be Afraid

But Hedy didn't know that the moment she walked into the banquet, everyone paid attention to her.

She was beautiful and elegant, and even silently appreciating the designs, she drew attention from some young men.

A lot of young and talents men wanted to make friends with her.

Wayne was complimented by his cooperative client, and he felt that many people became excited, so he looked at Hedy.

With this glance, Wayne was very surprised.

He totally forgot what happened before in the mall.

A beautiful lady.

Very attractive.

Watching her slim waist, Wayne had many thoughts about sex in his mind.

He didn't hear what the client was saying anymore.

He raised his hand to stop them from talking, and he walked towards Hedy, like losing his mind.

Some men noticed that Wayne wanted to get close to Hedy so they wanted to stop him, but Wayne said fiercely, "She is my girlfriend!"

After saying this, Wayne felt happy, and in the meantime, he regretted that he left Hedy to be with Kelly very much.

But Wayne believed that Hedy still loved him but she was just mad at him.

'As long as a man was willing to lay low and say nice things to the woman, then the woman would come back to him.'

"Hedy, you should tell me that you would come to the night banquet, and I will drive you here."

Carefully appreciating the famous designs, Hedy was interrupted and she felt annoyed.

When she turned around, she saw Wayne, feeling very angry now.

"Wayne, you are almost literally everywhere around me."

Wayne smiled, "That means we are still connected with each other."

"Hedy, although you had sex with other men, I don't mind this now, and as long as you pledge your fidelity to me from now on, that will enough for me."

Hedy felt so disgusted, hearing what he said, and then she said.

"Wayne, don't you ever think about it. I would rather be a nun, and I would not even make any contact with you."

Meanwhile, a man behind Hedy said, "I am here with you so you will not be a nun."

"Victor..."

Hearing the voice, Hedy knew who it was, and she felt happy about this without knowing why.

She turned around, walking towards Victor, saying, "Why are you here?"

"You left your son in order to meet this jerk?" Victor looked at Wayne, like looking at some rubbish.

Wayne was extremely angry.

All he thought about was Hedy now, so he couldn't recognize who Victor was, and he said impolitely, "Who are you?"

"Do you know she was my ex-wife? I warn you to stay away from her."

Hedy was annoyed hearing what he said.

"I was still wondering why the banquet was stinky, and after seeing you, I realized that it was because of you. No wonder." Victor held Hedy and hugged her.

Victor was tall, and he literally looked down on Wayne, saying strictly, "Wayne, look at me now. Who am I?"

"I don't care..."

Wayne didn't finish his talking, when he looked at Victor directly, feeling frightened.

He suddenly recalled some news.

He was very frightened, "You... you are Mr. Moore."

"Get out now!"

Victor stopped him directly, and stared at him angrily.

He knew that Hedy was a quiet person, so he didn't want to do anything serious to Wayne in the banquet.

What a terrible man! They got a divorce many years ago and now Wayne dared to be around Hedy again. So shameless!

Wayne was astonished, and he couldn't imagine that Hedy's boyfriend would be Victor.

Victor was a great business, and he dared not to annoy Victor.

Wayne quickly ran away and hid himself around the corner, like a fleeing dog.

Victor hugged Hedy around her shoulder, saying softly, "He is gone now."

"Why are you here? Where is Leo?"

Hedy pushed Victor away, and she looked around, restraining herself not to cry.

Victor saw that she was not happy

about this, and he wanted to

comfort her, but when he was.

talking, what he wanted to say became, "Couldn't you just stay quiet and stop seducing others?

"What do you want me to do then?" Hedy got angry at Victor's word.

"I am here to attend the art exhibition, and I am here to learn something valuable. I want to gain some opportunities and make more money to live a better life with my son. What is wrong with me?"

Five years ago, she was set up by the jerk Wayne and the bitch Kelly and she was miserable back then.

If it was not for her son, she would have already killed them and then killed herself.

But she had Leo, her most clever, cutest, and most thoughtful child in the world.

Leo was her everything, her hope for living, and her light.

She tried not to hate anymore for her son, and she tried to be a positive mother, providing her son with a bright future.

But she didn't have enough time to be strong and to get revenge.

And Victor showed up, taking her son away from her.

And also Kelly and Wayne showed up, insulting and humiliating her.

Hedy was so upset that she wanted to cry, and she looked down, pushing Victor away and walking away hurriedly.

Feeling that many people were looking at her, Hedy regretted wearing such a beautiful dress at this moment.

She walked clumsily, and then suddenly she slipped, falling down on the ground. Knowing that she would get embarrassed by the fall, she cried, with a drop of tear.

At this urgent moment, Victor rushed over, and he lifted Hedy in his arms.

The drop of tear fell right on Victor's lips, and he licked it.

It was salty.

Everyone was looking at them, and Victor carried her in his arms and went out of the hall.

Hedy felt sad and shy, so she covered herself in Victor's chest.

They got into Victor's Rolls-Royce, and Victor asked the driver to get out.

He lifted her face by her chin with one hand, and wiped out her tear by tissue with the other hand, and he frowned, "When do you become so weak?"

"It's not a big deal. If you feel wronged, fight back. Don't forget that your son's father is me, Victor."

"I can help you with anything, and don't be afraid, OK?"

Hedy grabbed the tissue from him, and cleaned her face, saying, "You don't need to pretend that you care about me."

"At least I saved you there, and this is how you express your gratitude?"

Victor squinted at Hedy.

'She was so ungrateful, and I was mad now.'

But seeing that she just cried sadly, he wouldn't order her to get off.

Looking at Hedy crying sadly, Victor felt uncomfortable too, and he didn't know why.

"Thanks."

Hedy inhaled deeply, and she opened her handbag, taking the compact and lipstick out, trying to wear some makeup again.

There was only one entrance ticket

for this night banquet in her

company, and she got the chance to

be here, so she had to learn carefully in order to share with other

colleagues.

So she was wearing makeup very sincerely, and Victor seeing this, he felt very terrible.

"Makeup makes you very attractive, and who are you going to seduce this time?"
