Same as yesterday, after the lesson Reyna waited for Sabrina and John to leave, they did after they finished pleasuring each other. Knowing what they were doing, Reyna didn't try to go check what kept them long. It would be wrong to watch their private moment.

When they finally left. She took a candle, and the little bundle of clothes with food inside, which she had hidden before she entered the underground room earlier this evening.

She walked faster, still not used to the eerily silence and darkness of the tunnel, Reyna was careful not to run into any of the maids or men who lived in this part of the castle.

"Kitten," Casvan called out before she even got close to his cell, that one word is enough to make her heart beat faster, it was uttered in a deep growl that touched places she has never explored before.

Reyna stepped into his view directly in front of the barred iron. She thought he would be angry with her, like he was yesterday but his voice didn't sound angry,suddenly that changed, he growled loudly. Reyna ignored him.

"How did you know it was me? It could have been anyone," she asked surprised, she had been careful not to make any unnecessary sounds.

"I scented you." He wasn't moving, still sitting in the dark at the far corner of his cell.

"Oh. It's really true that you can smell people's scents."

Her voice was filled with awed, then her nose crinkled, when the idea of smelling people's body odors came to mind. Reyna didn't envy him that!

"Yes, just like that. I can tell you exactly what you smell like, right now kitten you reek of another males come." He growled in a low angry voice,his eyes glowing red,

Reyna gasped in shock and

embarrassment,her eyes wide.

"You can also smell that?"

"You should have wash off the come of one male from your pussy, or at the very least, let it dry before you come to another male, I'm going to enjoy killing that bastard,” Casvan swore and he meant it.

What? He thought she had sex with John?

"No, you misunderstand, I didn't sleep with John, he was my muse and we practiced a lesson, he's the first man…"

Reyna rambled, then she remembered. Why on earth would she need to explain herself to him? To this beast? whom she'd only known for a few days, and he's not even her friend but enemy. And this has been the Marlenian way. This is how all the Roses have been taught, why should her training be different.

"He's the first man… What?"

He demanded, now on his feet, he's coming towards her, his chains making a clanging sound.

"Tell me," he ordered, his glowing eyes so intense changing from green to red just like that first day. Reyna couldn't break free from his stare, she didn't know when her lips parted and she answered his question.

"He's the only man I've ever seen naked and touched for the first time."

Casvan growled so deep and low, Reyna took a step back. But she couldn't stop her body's reaction,instantly her breasts became fuller, her nipples were so hard they ached, and she was soaked. Seriously! this has got to stop.

He was silent after Reyna said that. He was going to bathe in this man's blood. It would be the first thing he did after he break free.

The kiss was okay, Reyna thought? She really doesn't know. It looks like it would be enjoyable, but it wasn't for her, when John kissed her. Maybe the problem lies with her.

"I don't know, I guess it was nice, but I don't know if I want to try again."

Casvan tried to take another step but his chains didn't yield. He was at least pleased that his mate didn't like another man's kiss.

"He was doing it wrong then, a kiss shouldn't be nice, it should be good or very good, or great. A kiss should give you pleasure."

His eyes are so bright, the look in his eyes intense, Reyna feels hot all over, her heart pounding.

Her breathing become hard. Reyna wanted it all, but she's also so scared. She was conflicted. Is it okay for her to want him? Is it wrong? He's a beast and she's a human.

Reyna already knows sneaking and meeting with him is wrong when she was forbidden to do so. But she can't control her body reactions for him and the incessant gnawing inside her heart that pulled and twisted calling her to him.

"I don't know," she replied honestly.

That thought sobered her up and reminded her of who and what he was, and who she is. He's a beast and she is a human woman. This,whatever this was, it can't happen.

Reyna turned abruptly, in her haste to leave before she did something she couldn't take back, the food she had stolen to bring to him fell to the ground.

Reyna picked up the meat she'd wrap up in a cloth and throw it closer to him,

Casvan gets down and picks up the cloth, Reyna could see that without uncovering it, he already knew what it was.

"You brought me food?" His gaze was intense, like her bringing him meat is special or something that's meaningful, Reyna doesn't know beast cultures so she can't say. His eyes though made her tingly.

"Why?"

Why what? Reyna knows what he's asking her, why would she feed him when he's her enemy.

"Because I don't want you to starve and then you'll try to eat me,when I come to see you."

He smiled, Reyna's heart just stopped, then began to beat again. It was a beautiful smile that reached his glowing eyes and exposed all his sparkling white teeth and fangs, he looked even more beautiful,with all that glowing light around him, he looked so beautiful. Something entirely out of this world.

Casvan wanted to provide for his female, not the other way around, but it pleased him that she bought him food. And he likes that she's going to come back again.

"You'll come see me again?"

Reyna turned and started walking away, my stomach fluttering.

"Maybe." She replied, hiding her smile, his deep growl that made her shiver, was the last thing she heard before she made her way back to the castle. Reyna walks through the servant quarters, into the kitchen, takes a plate with two muffins from the pantry and climbs up the stairs.

The muffins were just an excuse as to the reason why she was awake at midnight. Reyna was just going to say she was hungry so she went to get a muffin if the guards asked why she was down at the servants quarters.

Fortunately for Reyna nobody was around to stop and question her. She stepped into her room, exhaling in relief that she'd made it safely.
