Chapter 3. New Friends And Jealous Old Ones
Quensilla's POV
I'm really tired and everything hurts, let's just say I woke up in the bathroom today.
We had three extra days just to settle in and I was going to use \fully just to sleep.
"Silla. I really need to pee." Standing from the floor I open the door only to meet a naked wall.
Walls aren't naked...
"Excuse me," I mutter blushing and he smirks before stepping aside.
I roll my eyes and plop on my bed as he enters and closes the door.
What am I doing today...
I look around the room to find that my clothes were missing.
What in the world.
I go on a full rampage, checking under the beds, in the washing machine, in his shoes, in my shoes. They aren't here anywhere.
And my locket! Where is it?!
Banging on the bathroom door I was furious."Theodore! Where is my stuff?"
"I don't know." He tells me and I step away from the door, clenching my fist and gritting my teeth.
How am I going to survive?
Sighing, I realized that there were some jeans and a T-shirt in the corner.
What universe? No underwear.
I swallowed my pride and clipped onto Theodore's underwear drawer and yank it open hastily.
I grab the smallest pair I could find and put it under my bed for when I'm done bathing.
I'll have to reuse the bra.
He finally comes out, with his phone.
Ew.
"We're going shopping today." He tells me and one of my eyebrows goes sky high.
"Um excuse me." I begin. "I. Do. Not. Like. You. Get one of the willing college girls you had with you last night, I'm sure they will
be glad to accompany you."
I roll my eyes before grabbing my clothes and hiding the underwear in between them. Before I make it to the bathroom he grabs
my arm and pulls it back to him.
"Watch who you're talking to Quensilla." I yank my hand out of his grip and glare.
"Don't tell me what to do. I will talk to you however I want to." Turning on my heel, I get in and slam the door.
He thinks he can just have me like how he has the other co-
-----
"I can't believe you kidnapped me!" I yell for like the fifth time while sitting in his very awesome car.
"Will you stop yelling! If you can't see, the glass is up!" He yells back.
"But you're yelling too!" I scream and he deadpans.
"I will tape your mouth."
"Where are you gonna get tape buddy?"
"In the glove compartment. Duh." I zip my mouth and sit back.
Who knew that right after I was done bathing he would throw me over his shoulder for everyone to see and drag me to the mall.
"We're here!" He chirps and I roll my eyes stepping out and slamming the car door.
I walked five steps ahead of him, well I tried, but I was still at a distance and he kept glancing over at me and frowning.
"In here." He points to a fancy looking store and I furrow my eyebrows at him.
"Do I look like a bank to you?"
"I'm paying."
"No," I say curtly, walking into a five-dollar store. "Where did all my clothes go?"
"They were ruined. I threw them out."
"All of them?!" I nearly yell and he shrugged. "I left you some jeans and a shirt."
Sorry for blaming you universe.
"And no underwear?" I say sarcastically and he blushes. "What? What is wrong with you?"
"Nothing nothing, just never knew red was your color." Then he walked into the store.
Red?
#
"I'm paying you back."
"No, you're not." Theodore leans back in his car seat. He looked utterly annoyed and I nearly jumped with glee. But he bought
me a lot of clothes and I would be happy except I'm not, I don't want to be owing him or anything.
"Whatever. Let's just go."
As soon as we get back to the dorm, I climb out of the car and grab all sixty-seven bags. No, it's not impossible.
"Here let me help y-"
"No thank you." I snap stepping away from him and he drops his hand looking discouraged.
I huff before suffering up the stairs. I wait for him to open the door but he only stands behind me.
"Well?" I was beyond irritated. My hands were killing me.
"Oh. I thought you didn't need help with that either." He says sarcastically while unlocking the door and I roll my eyes.
Setting down the bags, I suck up my pride once again.
"Thank you," I tell him.
"You're welc-"
"But don't ever do that again." I turn away from him, pulling all my boxes towards me, I begin to unpack. It was about four and
Theodore just sat on the edge of his bed studying me.
"How's your family?"
"Well. My mother and brother disowned me after your stunt and my father is dead." I tell him shrugging and I hear the sharp
intake of breath.
"I'm sorry..."
"As you said many times before," I tell him pushing my empty boxes under the bed and deciding to unpack my clothes.
"I really am. I just...I don't know, I was young and-"
"Dumb. Yea we've all heard that excuse."
"Gosh give me a chance to talk! Stop interrupting me you don't know how irritating that is! I don't know if I want to spend more
time here right now." Then he stands to grab his keys and walking out. Slamming the door. Good riddance.
#
I was sleeping soundly when the door peaked open, gazing at the time it was 6:30 and the sun was almost fully out. I watched as
Theodore kicked off his shoes and jeans and lay on his bed, not bothering to take off his shirt.
"Where were you?" I ask him and I immediately regret it.
"Out." He says curtly before falling asleep and I shrug not caring.
I slip out of bed, yawning and wincing at my breath.
I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth taking a shower also. Pulling my brown hair into a simple ponytail, I change into a
red polo with light skinny jeans and some red vans.
I take up my spare key and stuff it into my pocket deciding to take a walk and go around the college scene and also pick up my
schedule.
------
Reaching the office it was already 9:30. The people here were so kind and it's huge. I got my schedule and sat on a bench
outside going over it. Heaviness plops next to me and a shoulder bumps harshly into my head.
"Ow.," I mutter rubbing it. I swear I'm too short.
"Sorry! I'm sorry." A deep voice says frantically. "That was supposed to look cool."
I look up to find a boy with light brown hair and blue eyes. He was cute. And tall.
What is it with these trees.
I gave him a small smile. "It's okay. I'm all good."
He eyes my head a little longer before settling for my face.
"I'm Ocean." He says stretching out his hand and I grip it.
Ocean.
"I love your name." I grin. "I'm Quensilla."
"Wow. Would it be wrong if I say I thought of cheese when you said that?"
I laugh and he grins. "Cheese? Really?"
"Yup. So you're new here?"
"Yeah. You?"
"Nah it's my second miserable year."
"Ahh, I'm sorry to hear that." I giggle and he smiles down at me.
"You're really pretty." He mutters and I blush, turning away.
"You think so? I didn't really put anything on my face this morning."
"Even better." He nods. He had a positive vibe to him. I like it.
"Hello there Silla." Universe what is wrong with you?!
"Hello. Theodore." I mutter and Ocean looks at me.
"Nice of you to leave me in the dorm alone this morning."
"You wanted to be alone," I tell him and I watch as his teeth grit with anger eyeing Ocean who was just staring at him blankly.
"Should I leave?" Ocean asks me and I shake my head and the same time Theodore says 'Yes'.
"You can't tell-"
"No its okay Quensilla. I'll go. He then grabs my phone which was on my lap and puts in his number."
"Call me." He winks before leaving casting Theodore one more blank look.
"Gosh. Just leave me in peace for one!" I nearly yell and he rolls his eyes.
"You were just sitting with some random dude, didn't seem like you wanted peace back then."
"You're right." I smile. " I only wanted to get away from you."
I stand furiously before stomping away.
