Chapter 68 Benjamin Knows Women's Hearts So Well
Benjamin looked down at her.
He was staring at her with deep, captivating eyes.
His intense gaze made Madelyn shy but she still sat on his lap, held onto his neck, and whispered, "Benjamin, my period is over now."
Benjamin said nothing.
Instead, he just held her tight in his arms and kissed her passionately.
He kissed her so hard that she felt she was almost melted by his kiss. Though she could barely stand on her own, Madelyn didn't ask him to stop... She thought they would get laid tonight.
However, after kissing and touching her, Benjamin leaned against her shoulder and panted while trying to calm himself down.
"I'm too exhausted today! Can we wait for a few more days?"
Madelyn's body trembled slightly.
She had never enjoyed making out so much before. Benjamin showed her how good this could be, but now, at this critical moment, he said he wanted to stop! What was she supposed to do?
After all, Benjamin was a mature man. He chuckled, lifted her in his arms, and walked straight toward the bedroom.
The door was half closed and inside they were having a passionate night.
In the early morning, Madelyn woke up.
Benjamin was by the bedside, tying his tie. Seeing that she was awake, he bent down and gave her a morning kiss.
Though feeling shy, Madelyn didn't push him away.
After the kiss, her face turned slightly red. She hadn't brushed her teeth yet.
Benjamin spoke to her gently, "I will have a meeting later. You can go back to sleep! By the way, Claire takes a day off today." Hearing this, Madelyn wanted to get up and make breakfast for him.
Benjamin gently pressed her back to bed and looked deeply into her eyes, saying, "I'll have Paisley take care of this." Madelyn nodded.
After all, they slept together last night, and they couldn't get enough of each other. They kissed for a long time again. Madelyn just noticed that he was wearing the shirt she had bought for him.
The shirt was brown, and he paired it with gray suit pants.
He also wore a burgundy skinny tie.
Dressed like this, he looked younger, handsome, and elegant.
Such a handsome appearance would captivate any woman's heart. Rubbing his shirt gently, Madelyn knew she was attracted to him.
Benjamin glanced at the clock, kissed her again, and then left for work.
Madelyn was about to go back to sleep for a while longer. She didn't fall asleep until late last night.
Though they didn't really have sexual intercourse, they...had a wonderful night. Her face turned red and her heart was beating wildly at the thoughts of those intimate details. However, she pondered, what was he waiting for?
Oddly enough, he looked eager.
In the afternoon, Vivian invited her to meet at a café.
As soon as Madelyn sat down, Vivian handed her an invitation, saying, "In the business banquet hall on the 2nd floor of Brocade Hotel on Saturday evening."
Madelyn took the invitation over and looked at it carefully.
Vivian cleared her throat, leaned in, and asked, "Did Mr. Clark agree?... I mean, despite his reserved demeanor, I think he'd do anything for you, and all you have to do is ask."
Madelyn couldn't help but think about last night.
Though they hadn't really had intercourse, she felt that Benjamin was good in bed and knew women's hearts so well.
She simply replied, "There shouldn't be any problems."
Vivian was relieved.
She nudged Madelyn with her arm and teased her, "See, I told you, it's easier to ask a man for a favor when he's satisfied." Madelyn nearly choked on her coffee.
Vivian patted her back and shared with her what she knew, "I heard Daniel didn't plan to attend the reunion at first, but when he heard that you would be there, he changed his mind and even offered thirty thousand dollars for the drinks."
Madelyn lowered her gaze and commented with a smile, "He really didn't have to do this."
Vivian looked at her delightedly, saying, "Good for you! You don't care about Daniel anymore. You are indeed in love with Mr. Clark now."
Madelyn shook her head and explained, "We're just together for now. We cannot possibly be together forever."
Vivian was about to comfort her when she saw several girls in fashionable clothes walk out of the elevator across from the café.
Vivian gritted her teeth and said angrily, "What a coincidence!"
