Pampered by Billionaires after Being Betrayed

Chapter 103

Chapter 103 Don't Seduce My Husband

"Emily?"

The sudden voice behind her sent shivers down Emily's spine.

It was a man.

Nathan emerged from the shadows. Thankfully, the wall lights illuminated his silhouette and Emily wasn't scared.

However, despite this, she couldn't read his expression clearly, and the green tint of the wall lights made Nathan appear even more eerie and sinister. Emily instinctively grasped the wall beside her, pressing her back against it for support.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

As she spoke, Emily realized something.

The "female ghost" had mentioned a young couple entering before her, and now she encountered Nathan, which meant Sophia must be here too. Nathan took a step forward. "Don't be afraid. If you're scared, you can hold onto me."

With that, he extended his hand, offering a silent invitation.

Emily remained on high alert, not letting her guard down for a moment. Now, backed into a corner, facing what seemed like an entire hellish setting, her field of view widened, allowing her to better survey her surroundings. Apart from the path she had taken, everything around was pitch black. However, she could tell that this place wasn't particularly large, and she gradually steadied her nerves as she adapted.

"I'm not afraid, thank you," Emily replied.

Nathan didn't press her, retracting his hand and scanning the area. "I've been wandering here for a few minutes, still can't find the way out."

Emily looked up at him. "What about Sophia?"

"She got scared and ran off. There's only one way out of here; she must have made it out by now."

That wasn't surprising.

Sophia had always been timid. When they were kids during thunderstorms, she would sleep with Emily.

But no one ever knew that Emily was also afraid of thunder.

Back then, she often positioned herself as a protector, putting on a brave face and shielding Sophia in her arms...

How nostalgic those days were...

Emily chuckled self-deprecatingly. Now Sophia not only wasn't afraid of thunder but was also scheming to seduce her brother-in-law. She was no longer the timid girl from her childhood; she was about to become Mrs. Reed. Nathan said, "Emily, the setup here is indeed quite terrifying. Let me get you out."

Emily shook her head. "I can't leave; Herry is still inside."

"He went in alone?"

"Yeah," Emily explained, "we just encountered a female ghost. He got scared, pushed me out to stop the ghost, then he ran off."

Nathan clenched his teeth, a cold smirk crossing his face. "That kid has been spoiled by his parents. He's bound to learn his lesson sooner or later. Are you okay?"

Emily's response was cold. "I'm fine. Instead of worrying about me, why don't you go find Herry first? If something happens to him, your father-in-law won't let it go."

"I care about you first," Nathan stepped closer. Emily was positioned in the corner of the wall, making it easy for him to corner her. Emily heard his voice directly above her head. "Emily, we're still husband and wife. I'm still your husband." Emily grew impatient. "You've said that many times already, I'm tired of hearing it. Aren't you about to marry Sophia soon?"

"I'm just..." Nathan sighed in

frustration. "Okay, I admit it, I

betrayed you before, but I regret it now! Hasn't. Jackson told you?

company, it could pose a serious threat to my business. I had no choice; I agreed to this engagement to appease her stepfather. But I can assure you, my heart belongs to you..."

Nathan continued professing his "true love speech," but Emily found it laughable. "Do you think Sophia's family is easily deceived? You can deceive them now, but can you keep up the act forever? Let me remind you, don't be too clever for your own good." "...I'll figure something out for the future. You come back to me now. We could have a baby. I'll hand over the entire Reed Group to our child in the future, how about that?"

Emily chuckled coldly. "Have you forgotten? I'm already pregnant."

"Then have an abortion," Nathan said earnestly. "I'll accompany you to the hospital, find the best doctor, I'll ensure the procedure won't affecte your health. I'll buy you a big house, hire a few servants to take care of you. Anything you want, you can

have. Once you've recovered, we can have another child together."

"Emily, it's you again!"

A sharp voice echoed from the shadows in the distance.

Sophia charged over, visibly furious. Nathan's words had clearly enraged her, and she came straight for Emily, her hand raised high to strike, only to be intercepted by Nathan mid-air and forcefully pushed aside. Disgust filled Nathan's eyes. "You dare to slap her?"

Pointing at Emily with resentment, Sophia accused, "She's trying to seduce you. You are my husband! She has no shame!"

"Who's your husband?" Nathan shielded Emily, swatting away Sophia's pointed finger. "Sophia, you heard what I just said, right? I intend to rebuild my marriage with Emily. Stop ruining our relationship."

Sophia stared at him incredulously.

"I'm ruining your relationship? Nathan, don't forget my dad and mom are still in this amusement park. We're about to get married! Nathan, I know you're just confused by this wench. She's deliberately following us, trying to seduce you."

Nathan chuckled. "I wish she was trying to seduce me."

"Nathan, did she say something to you? Don't believe her; she's always been calculating since childhood. She's a conniving woman who's good at acting."
