Chapter 16 I Don't Know You
"Get separated."
Seeing that the mother and son went away, the Head Nurse waved her hand and asked everyone to leave.
"Let's go to work. There's no fun." Shelly said in a voice dripping with sarcasm. She picked up the tray in her hand, swayed and led the way to the ward. The rest glanced at Cindy and followed her, doing their own work.
It was time for the doctors to make the rounds of the wards. The nurses had to hurry up and clean up the ward.
It was clean, tidy and well disciplined. In addition to leading the medical level, No.2 People's Hospital of J City was the best hospital in the city.
Cindy stood still in a daze. Tears fell down.
She couldn't figure out why the annoying things always surrounded her.
Seeing this, Lena walked over and pulled her arm, "Sister Cindy."
"It doesn't matter. Lena, you can go home now." Cindy wiped her tears quietly, raised her head and smiled at Lena.
However, anyone could tell that she was upset from her heavy nasal voice.
"It seems that it's true. I can't believe that Cindy is that kind of person."
"Humph! Do you really think she is pure and lofty? Well, she pretended to be pure. Maybe she is coquettish behind our back."
"Really?"
Cindy just walked to the door of the medicine room and heard the mocking voice from inside.
Her eyes were wet with tears again.
"Stop it." When a nurse turned around and saw Cindy standing at the door, she immediately stopped the one talking.
Shelly turned his head and sneered. She put the medicine on the shopping cart one by one and then pushed them away. Regardless of Cindy's standing at the door, Shelly pushed the cart out hard. The cart hit Cindy hard. Cindy let out a cry of pain, "ah!"
You deserves it.
Claude was the person she wanted to cling to, but Cynthia was a ruthless character. She was no match for Cynthia, so she had to give up. Unexpectedly, Cindy, who was unknown, got hands on him. Without stopping, Shelly snorted and walked away.
"Cindy, are you okay?" Seeing Cindy's face crumpled in pain, the people who came out behind her felt a little sorry.
She shook her head and held back her anger.
She looked down and saw a big red mark on her fair skinned calf.
Tears fell on Cindy's face, making her feel cold.
"Cindy."
She turned around and smiled. "It's okay. Head Nurse." Then Cindy limped away.
All of this has been seen clearly by the man just now. Seeing that the whole department of Cardiology had returned to peace, he quietly left.
After a whole day's work, Cindy thought of her decision in the morning and handed over her work in a hurry.
Yes, she was going to talk about the divorce with Horald.
Walking out of the hospital, Cindy turned back again.
She hadn't seen Jason for a whole day. Somehow, she felt a little flustered.
"Jason..." Pushing the door open, Cindy didn't see Jason on the bed. She stopped crying.
Jason's bed was terribly clean and there was no sign of anyone lying on it.
Did?
As a nurse, she was used to this kind of situation in the hospital.
Frightened, Cindy ran out of the room like a madman and shouted, "Dr. Bai, Dr. Bai"
Cindy's trembling voice resounded through the whole ward.
"What's wrong?" Dr. Bai was checking on the patient when he heard the terrible cry of Cindy. He walked out of the ward in a hurry.
"Dr. Bai, my brother, my brother..."
Afraid of hearing that terrible fact, Cindy didn't dare to ask again.
Dr. Bai pursed his lips and smiled. "What? Are you afraid of your brother? Don't worry. Jason is fine. I just told him to go home and have a rest."
He then turned around and lowered his voice.
"I have introduced the traditional Chinese medicine doctor to Jason. Now there are already rumors in the Department, so I have to avoid suspicion. You know, my whole family lives on my own salary. If the board of directors knows this, I'm afraid I can't keep my job. Don't worry. With the support of traditional Chinese medicine, Jason can still hold on for a period of time."
"Dr. Bai, I'm sorry to trouble you."
Cindy bowed again and again. There were tears in the corner of her eyes, but she was happy in her heart.
As long as Jason was fine, everything would be fine.
"But I have checked on him before he left today. He is not in a good condition either. You'd better raise the medical fees as soon as possible and let Jason stay in hospital for treatment."
Dr. Bai's words were like a basin of cold water, and the joy was instantly extinguished.
"Thank you, Dr. Bai. I'll figure it out right now." Cindy ran away just after she finished her words.
It was getting late.
In the evening, the street lights on both sides of the street were lit up.
Cindy quickened her pace.
She had searched every place Horald used to go, but he was nowhere to be found. Finally, for the sake of Jason, Cindy decided to try her luck.
Moon Bar was the bar that Horald had taken her there once.
The barmaids were dressed like bunnies. They had a pair of long rabbit ears on their heads and a big tail on their buttocks. They always teased with the guests. Those men were itching to have sex with them that they dared to order no matter how much wine.
Cindy was disgusted and ran out with Horald as soon as she entered.
Would Horald go there now?
At the gate of Moon Bar
Colorful neon lights were flashing, giving people a sense of intoxication.
Cindy stood at the door, unable to move. It was hard to see the girls inside.
Cindy was still hesitated to go inside.
"Miss, why don't you come in since you have already walked to the door?" The strong smell of alcohol sprayed on [I]'s face.
Cindy turned her head and saw a strong man standing next to her. He stretched out his head, with the smell of alcohol in his mouth.
The man was wearing a tight black vest, and his exposed skin was covered with dense tattoos. There were two minions standing next to him. They seemed to be his subordinates. Cindy stepped back. "Sir, I don't know you. Please go away."
"We would be familiar with each other soon enough. As long as you let me kiss you a few times, I'm sure Well, I'm sure you'll know me." The smell of alcohol came out of his throat. Frowning, Cindy covered her nose and stepped back.
Although the smell of alcohol was strong, what Cindy couldn't stand was his hideous breath.
Her dodge aroused the man's sexual desire.
"Hey, what are you hiding from? Let's go. I'll buy you a drink." The man rushed over and held Cindy in his arms, keeping his mouth close to her face.
The two minions also came up with obscene smiles on their faces. "It's your fortune that our brother likes you. Beauty, just accept it. Hahaha..." "Let me go."
Cindy tried to get rid of him, but he was too strong to move at all.
"Little beauty, don't move. The more you move, the more excited I will be." The man tightened his arm.
Unable to break free, a trace of despair flashed across Cindy's face.
