Hector tapped his fingers on the railing, his gaze still fixed on Naomi and Harvey. "Keith, can I ask you a question?" he said.

Keith nodded and said, "Anytime.

"These days I couldn't sleep well with a figure frequently appearing in my mind. The way he talks, smiles and scolds, and each of his move, are like a movie endlessly played in my brain, lector knitted his brows tightly. "Am I sick, Keith?" Understanding all at once, Keith chortled heartily before saying "Good question, Hector. You've come to the right person for this. Yes, you are sick, love-sick!"

Hector turned his head with a puzzled look, "Lovesick?"

Keith gave a heartfelt smile and averred, "You've fallen in love with that person."

Keith leaned out over the railing and looked down. Though there were many people downstairs, most of them were gathering on the far side of the swimming pool.

Only two people stood where Hector just stared-one was Harvey, and the other was the owner of this house, Naomi.

Keith didn't know much about Naomi. Though he, Levi, Hector and Harvey were brothers, they grew up in different environments.

Levi had lived in the military camps since childhood with their uncle who was a commander. As he reached the school age, he went to a boarding military school to study.

Hector and Harvey were twins and grew up in Roncrity with grandparents. After they went to elementary school, their grandparents passed away, so they returned to Betrico and finally went to Amiroca with Keith together to attend university. Harvey was discovered by a talent scout when he was eighteen and rose from a model to a super star in Starlight Cinema.

Hector, however, decided to return home after graduation. Rather than stay in Betrico, he chose to settle in Roncrity. Perhaps deep down in his heart Ronerity was his real hometown

When Keith was lost in thought, Hector shifted his gaze back to the downstairs, mixed feelings flickering in his eyes as he stared at Naomi.

Keith noticed his move and was shocked. "Darn it! Hector, the person you mentioned is Naomi? But isn't he a man?"

Hector replied, his voice calm and cold, "Keith, I knew he's a man, but I just can't control myself"

Feeling the whole world was reeling. Keith patted Hector's cheeks and cried in alarm, "Come on, wake up, Hector! You are gay?! There are so many beautiful girls out there, why did you fall in love with a man?"

The Xenos family had four sons. Levi, the eldest, was already thirty but still had no feelings for anyone, Keith was a little younger, yet he'd decided to live with his future wife's family.

Harvey was a star and late marriage was common in his circle, not to mention that he was a confirmed bachelor.

Keith had thought only Hector was normal, but now Hector suddenly claimed he had a crush on a man. It was a bolt from the blue to Keith

Cynthia and Ruby were still caught drinking in the cellar. When Sam found them, they were casually leaning against the huge rack and sitting on the floor, each holding a bottle of wine

In fact, Cynthia loved drinking as well and had a high tolerance to alcohol. In the beginning she was still sort of reserved because of worrying about Ruby. But after a few drinks, she totally relaxed.

The atmosphere was quite joyful.

Cynthia rarely had such a cheerful moment in her life. She'd be trained to be a lady since childhood. Selena kept telling her that a girl should learn dance, music, cliess and calligraphy and always behave herself.

She learned all those things as Selena wished, but deep down she wasn't happy. She longed for freedom and didn't like being restricted by rules and regulations.

But unluckily, Sam walked in as Cynthia and Ruby were having great time in the wine cellar. Ruby looked a bit guilty when she saw him.

Sam walked over with a glimmer of anger in his eyes. "Ruby, why are you sneaking drinks again? Did you forget the doctor's orders? Your condition..."

Just then, Jonathan, Levi and Keith also stepped in. Sam realized it was not a proper time to talk about this and stopped speaking

Ruby stood up like a child who had done something wrong and shot a glance at Cynthia before saying, "Cynthia insisted on having a drink with me." Speechless, Cynthia looked at Ruby silently.

Cynthia stood up as well and placed the bottle back on the rack, awkwardly dusting off her clothes and admitting with a resigned smile, "Sorry, Sam. I insisted on drinking with Ruby. It's all my bad." Ruby secretly gave a thumbs-up to Cynthia who was smiling at Sam with embarrassment.

Sam understood his wife's nature very well and instantly saw through their trick. He let out a deep sigh and walked towards Ruby, saying seriously, "Today is a special case. Don't do this next time." Ruby promised firmly, "I swear it won't happen again. Trust me,

Late at night, Cynthia and Jonathan excused themselves and left. The car drove along the mountain road shaded by

sycamore trees.

Looking at the sycamore trees which lined the road, Cynthia felca strange feeling rise within her. She liked sycamores very much because there was a tall one in her yard.

When she was a little kid, she loved climbing up the sycamore tree and sitting there watching the distant scenery. It made her feel free and enabled her to forget all the unhappiness.

Cynthia rarely cried, but that time she cried for a long time. It felt like losing an old friend who had been with her for years.
