Once Walked With Dragons

I never thought that so much of the world would depend on me for survival. I never even knew what it felt like to have someone depend on me. And though they will not say it, I can see it in their eyes. My entire family has put their faith in me. I am their last hope. If I fail, they will die. I cannot fail them. I will not fail them. I will fight to protect them until my last breath.
