No Strings Attached ( Sharp and Clara’s )

Chapter 195

Chapter 195

The entire hall was wrapped in a floral embrace. Every seat was taken, filled with Anders family, alongside friends and colleagues When they caught sight of her in her evening gown at the entrance, the crowd was stunned into silence before erupting into a collective “Wow!”

Before she could even process the scene, a colleague approached her, placing a bouquet of flowers in her hands with a warm smile

“Attomey Clara, here’s to your happiness, they said.

Clara, slightly puzzled, looked towards Anders, who stood not far off. He was dressed to the nines today, in a sharp light grey suit with a dark tie, his gaze tender and longing as he looked her way

Even if Clara was clueless about most things, she knew exactly what was happening now,

Ever since she had agreed to be with Anders, she had not seen him again. He’d always made excuses about being busy. It turned out he’d been preparing this surprise for her all along

Touched by such a thoughtful gesture, Clara couldn’t help but feel moved. She started walking towards him, and with each step, someone would hand her flowers and offer their most sincere wishes.

It was a scene she had dreamed of many times, but she never expected Anders to make it happen for her

As she reached his family, Anders grandparents took her by the hands, their smiles as wide as could be. Grandma patted Clara’s hand gently. “Our Anders has finally found what he’s been waiting for all these years. You two take good care of each other, Clara”

Alicia hugged Clara too, saying with a smile, “We’re so happy to welcome you into the family”

Clara had never felt so valued before. In her own family, her Grandma had only ever used and plotted against her With lan, she had never had the chance to make their relationship public.

Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, her lips curved in a smile as she stepped closer to Anders

Anders took her hand and knelt on one knee before her looking up into her eyes with a gentle voice that seemed to carry the softness of velvet. “Clary, be my girlfriend. From now on, Ill protect you from all storms, never letting you face even the slightest harm.”

As he spoke, he pulled a small ring box from his pocket. Just as he was about to slip the ring onto her finger, a young, plaintive voice echoed through the hall. “Daddy, don’t you want me anymore?”

Everyone turned towards the source of the voice, and saw a little boy, about two years old, clutching an envelope, tears streaking his face as he walked towards Anders.

The child’s face was delicate, with big eyes shining like polished onyx His tousled blond curls left everyone momentanly stunned

Grandma was the first to voice her suspicion. “Who’s this little one? He looks just like Anders did as a boy”

The child, intimidated by the crowd, stumbled as he made his way to Anders, handing him the envelope. Looking up with those large. shimmering eyes, he said, “Daddy, I’m Orin, your son. Don’t you want me and mommy anymore?”

The room fell silent, everyone shocked.

Anders paused for a moment, looking at the little boy in disbelief, and said “Little guy, daddy isn’t a word you just throw around. Tell me, where’s your father? What’s his name? I’ll make sure you get back to him.”

At Anders‘ words, the child’s tears turned into sobs. “My daddy’s name is Anders, my mommy’s name is Elle, and I’m Orin. I’m two years old. Daddy, why don’t you want me and mommy? Is it because you don’t like me? Waaah!”

Hearing his cries, Anders staggered backward as if struck by lightning, and hastily opened the envelope in his hands.
