Daniel chuckled softly, a sly grin on his face.

"Henry, go send this photo to all the big media outlets. I want a media storm that'll ruin them."

When Matthew got home, he and Lucy were so sleepy they just crashed into bed.

Not long after, Matthew's phone started ringing off the hook.

Matthew hated being woken up like that.

However, the ringing would not stop, so he took a quick look. He saw that Lucy was still sound asleep, so he grabbed his phone and headed to the living room.

He checked the caller ID and called back. It was Hudson.

"Hey! Mr. Leon, you finally picked up," Hudson said.

Matthew, annoyed, replied, "What's going on? Just tell me."

"Please, I need your help," Hudson pleaded.

"Someone snapped a photo of me and Lucy eating on the restaurant's second floor today, and now it's all over the news. Lucy's brother, Prince Theodore from Charleston, has dug up my past.

"He just threatened to expose the dirt on me to keep me away from Lucy. Why am I, an outsider, getting dragged into this? It's so unfair!"

Hudson felt like he had a lump in his throat. He had been unable to voice his troubles.

Matthew finally looked at his phone and saw the shocking headlines.

Matthew could not believe what he was reading. He quickly apologized to Hudson and promised to take care of it before ending the call. After hanging up, Matthew made another call.

"Hey, Kent? I need you to clear up all these rumors online. Make sure they stop spreading."

Kent, who had been cooking at home, let out a sigh. "Okay, Mr. Leon..."

He just wanted to have a meal!

Noticing Kent sounded a bit down, Matthew quickly added, "I'll double your salary this month." Kent's spirits soared, and he replied with a chuckle, "Sure thing, Mr. Leon. No problem!"

Matthew shook his head, speechless at the response. He hung up.

30 minutes had passed, and the internet was free of negative posts.

Hudson had even called to say thanks.

Matthew was just about to return to his dreams when his phone rang again. It was Theodore.

Seeing the caller ID, Matthew could not help but sigh.

"Hey, Matthew, both Lucy's dad and I have seen what's online, and we're not happy. You need to do something about Hudson. This about our family's honor."

Theodore sounded cool and collected, but Matthew could tell he was upset.

Matthew quickly explained, "Hudson and Lucy are just working together. I was there too, so I think someone might have posted it to cause trouble."

There was a pause on the line after Matthew spoke.

"Just make sure it doesn't happen again. I don't want to see any more stories like this," Theodore finally said. "Understood, Prince Theodore," Matthew replied. Once he realized Theodore had nothing more to add, he relaxed.

call that he expected Matthew to look after his sister well. They talked

a bit more and then said goodbye.
