Is often called the hound of Hades. He is a 3 headed dog that guards the gates of the Underworld to prevent the dead from leaving. He is a faithful servant to Hades.

Usually described as having three heads, a serpent for a tail and snakes coming out from multiple parts of his body.

Though at times he could even just look like a normal three headed dog. Has great strength to allow him to keep souls from leaving the Underworld. His sense of hearing and smell is unmatched making it near impossible for anyone to get past him. Can look in three separate directions at once and attack at different opponents.

Cerberus is primarily known for his capture by Hercules as one of his twelve labours. Cerberus does breathe. Hercules was only able to beat him because he fainted and stopped breathing.
