Chapter I'm awake
Waking up to what felt like the most relaxing sleep I had ever had, I got a glorious feeling inside. One I had not felt in a very long time. Could it be? No, surely not. It was joy! I could barely remember what that felt like.
I opened my eyes squinting due to the blinding sun. I was safe but man was I starving. I looked around for something to eat and saw a squirrel roasting over a fire. I couldn't care less whether it was fully cooked. I had to eat.
All of a sudden I heard a voice."UH uh uh."
I looked around but saw no-one. Then I heard it again."It's not quite ready yet so be patient."
I looked again but still, nobody was there. I was frustrated at the voice but I listened anyway. I sat back where I awoke and huffed. I could eat myself right now and the one piece of food I could see I could not touch.
I sat there in frustration staring at the food then I heard a branch snap. I whipped around and saw Josh, Sammy and one of the doctors who tried to kill me. They were all carrying bundles of wood and berries. I jumped up and pounced on the lady forcing her onto her back I grabbed both her arms and pinned them with my legs. I stared at her and she stared back in fear.
Josh and Sammy grabbed my arms dropping everything they were holding and pealed me off of her and I was thrashing trying to get them to loosen their grip. Sammy let go and grabbed some rope while josh tried to restrain me. I continued to try and escape his grasp to get to that witch. He dragged me over to a tree and they tied me to it. I was stuck. I continued to thrash around while they stopped to regather the supplies.
I scowled at the lady but she returned my look with one bursting with compassion.
Josh came back over and knelt beside me and said: "She is the only reason we are still alive."
"Wait, WHAT! She tried to KILL us. How can you trust that she-beast, that, that monster! "
"It's a long story"He rolled his eyes.
"Well, I've got time." I crossed my arms and looked him in the eye with one brow raised.
He huffed then said, "It started just as we screamed in your face..."
