In the last two minutes, Selina put the finishing touches on her work. Clutching her manuscript, she casually strolled forward and handed it in, under the watchful eyes of everyone around.

"Finishing with so little time left... she probably just threw something together in desperation. How could she possibly outshine Manuel with that?"

One of the judges was visibly excited, "How did you come up with this piece!"
Selina just shrugged, "Didn't the brief ask for something special for Valentine's Day? I just let my thoughts roam a bit and this came to mind."
"It's incredible... I've never seen such an original Valentine's Day limited edition jewelry design before!
The aesthetic is spot-on, if this hits the market, it could definitely set off a trend.
What? Ashley and the others blinked in disbelief. This was not how the script was supposed to go..
Wasn't Selina's supposed garbage design meant to be unanimously panned by the judges, earning the lowest score and, with smear campaign by Timothy's bought media, lead to her total disgrace? Why did it rather seem like the judges couldn't get enough of Selina's design?
Derrick watched on with a knowing smirk, while Manuel was the one to truly panic, "No way... What did Selina design? She should've thrown in the towel already!"
Not having been nurtured with the aristocratic upbringing of the Harvey family and quitting school after juni by simple country folk, how could she apart from that inherited Quinton and Sara face from her folks, have any talent in high, raised design?
Manuel stared at Selina, her demeanor as calm and collected as ever as if everything was unfolding according to her plan. Such a score was unheard of-no one had ever achieved a perfect score in a city-level Jewelry Design Contest. The highest was usually 19 points.
With judges of international renown, known for their discerning taste, even an 18 would have been testimony to overflowing talent. But perfect... that was simply beyond imagination!
