Chapter 1604
The chilling voice sent shivers down everyone's spine as all eyes turned to the entrance.
A young man in a suit and tie, exuding cold indifference, walked in slowly. Melody's eyes instantly welled up with tears as she looked at Nash. She never expected him to find the Ink Veil Sect, let alone appear when she was being bullied by other disciples. "Who are you? How did you get in here?" a young disciple asked coldly. The Ink Veil Sect was protected by an array that hid it from the outside world. Even if someone inadvertently stumbled into the array, the Eight Trigrams Maze Formation would guide them out of the mountain. Nash walked straight to Melody, his expression growing colder as he saw the injuries on her neck and nose.
"Kid, I'm talking to you!" The young disciple who had just spoken stepped forward, drawing his sword from his back.
Nash's right hand shot out as the Dragon's Roaring Spear appeared. He then forcefully thrust it into the ground, and a wave of energy spread out in all directions.
All the surrounding disciples were sent flying, including Jadie. The disciples who had been sent flying looked alarmed.
"Ah... He's at the Profound Reality Realm!"
"This is bad! Go get the senior!"
"Nash!" Melody threw herself into Nash's arms, hugging him tightly as tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.
Spear still in one hand, Nash gently embraced Melody with the other. He closed his eyes. "I'm sorry, I've broken my promise again," he said softly.
He had once promised that he would never let Melody get hurt again. Yet now, she was injured once more. Of all his women, Melody had suffered the most.
Melody chuckled through her tears. "Silly, we were just sparring. It's normal to get a little hurt during practice."
"It's obvious they were bullying you," Nash replied coldly.
"Kid, the Ink Veil Sect is not a place where you can cause trouble!" Erwin drew his crimson sword, his eyes glinting with a faint bloodlust. As spiritual power was infused into the sword, its blade emitted a sinister red glow.
Nash patted Melody's back. "Let go. I'll get revenge for you."
Melody held on tightly, shaking her head. "He's my senior. Don't fight him!"
Nash frowned slightly. "Then I'll just teach him a lesson."
"Heh... Such arrogance." Jadie almost laughed out loud. "You want to teach him a lesson? You? My senior is a late-stage Profound Reality Realm expert, and he wields the sect's treasure, the Demon Spirit Blade. "Killing you would be as easy as killing a dog!" Jadie looked at Nash as if he were an idiot, her face full of disdain. Erwin's eyes only grew even redder.
This guy wanted to teach him a lesson? No one in the sect, not even the elders, dared speak to him like this. Erwin's eyes were blood-red as his breathing grew heavy.
"Jadie, move aside. I don't care who he is, he'll die today!"
"Senior, you can't defeat him!" She knew Nash's strength well. Even an expert in the Profound Reality Realm from the Limitless Sword Sect had fallen to Nash. Erwin was from a third-rate sect.
"Move aside!" Erwin roared, then leaped. His shadow lingered in place, but his figure was already above Nash. He brought the Demon Spirit Blade in his hand down, releasing a crescent-shaped sword form. Nash raised his spear to block the blade, his deep eyes fixed on Melody. "Melody, step aside. I'm going to make him call me 'Daddy'!"
Melody sighed, knowing she might
interfere with Nash's fight. She stepped aside but could not help but
warn him, "He's in a berserk state now. His power is comparable to someone in the peak of the
Profound Reality Realm. Be careful."
"Peak of the Profound Reality Realm?" Nash infused spiritual power into his spear. "I've killed more people at the peak of the Profound Reality Realm than I can count!"
A ripple spread from the spearhead,
sending Erwin flying. Nash stepped into the air. In a flash, he caught up to the airborne Erwin while grasping the spear in his hands. He brought the spear downward, and Erwin raised his blade to block the attack.
