A month later

This past month has been eventful and distressing. The day after the Alpha summit Alex received news that the Blue Moon Pack had moved their entire pack away to an unknown territory. I went over there to make sure the news was accurate and to see if I could find any clues as to where the mother fucker slithered off to. As soon as all our allies cut ties with his pack Edward knew we were coming to take him down. Their move was secrete and sudden.

Axel and I have spent most our time and energy this month trying to locate the mother fucker but in vain. My father is convinced that they fled the country and have taken shelter on foreign lands but I highly doubt that. I have men at our international airport and ports there was no sign of the pathetic f**k anywhere.

Axel is still here at our pack. He is a good man and I couldn’t be happier for Emily. He has been staying with Emily in her room waiting for when she is ready to leave us and join his pack as their Luna. I can’t blame her for taking her time Hope had a hard time moving from her house into the pack house. But finally Hope and I have been living in our private wing for two weeks now. She finally ordered all the furniture she wanted as a gift from my parents. She left the two extra bedrooms unfurnished until we decided to have pups.

Hope has been spending most her time in her private library studying for her upcoming final exams and it’s been driving me crazy. She is already on the honor roll for being a consistent straight A student. She doesn’t need to exhaust herself but she won’t listen to me and insists on staying up late or skipping meals to study or to help a friend study.

She’s been training with me for a while now and I learned a few new things about my baby, she’s fast, strong and isn’t as vulnerable to pain as other she wolves are. Honestly I wasn’t too surprised she looks a lot like her mother but definitely gets her strength from her father. This sweet sexy temptress of mine would be a f*****g bad a*s in a fight but for the sake of my sanity I hope I never have to witness it.

Axel’s sister has been staying with her mate. The mother fucker finally stopped sulking around and got his s**t together. I’ve offered him the opportunity to try out for either a warrior position or head of security position. Ever since Hope got attacked in her own house by rogues my trust in Ethan’s security skills has faltered. I offered the same opportunity to his friends who are almost as strong as Jason and with the right training would make good warriors.

Right now all I could do was focus on finding Edward and his pack and take him down once and for all. Not knowing where the pathetic f**k is hiding has me on edge. Especially since yesterday Hope found a disturbing note in her locker and she told me it wasn’t the first one. I lost my s**t when she showed me the first note she found how could she not tell me about something like this? We ended up fighting.

“Hope wait here until I come back do not leave this house” I ordered

“No, I’m not a child….” I grabbed her by the jaw

“All I want to hear from your mouth is the word yes” I cut her off before she could finish her rant.

I stormed out of our living room and went right to her school. I demanded all the footage from the surveillance cameras we had installed in the hallways. Turns out that fucker Gavin watches her more than she notices. The creep watches her from a far I felt my b***d boil. I’ve already asked Alex to get me all his back ground information. But if she ever so much as answers his call again there will be hell to pay.

The person who put the letter in Hope’s locker was caught on camera after school hours wearing all black lose clothing and a ski mask the cunning fucker is totally unrecognizable but one thing is for sure her school is not safe anymore. When I came back she was in the library. I told her she had no choice but to be home schooled of course she put up a fight again.

“Zayn I’m not staying home all day to be home schooled you’re making a big deal out of this”

“I didn’t say you had a choice baby” I said as I clenched my jaw

“What yes of course I have a choice you can’t take me out of school!” I tried counting to ten to calm down but she was f*****g pushing my every button.

“Goddamit Hope would you just listen for once” I yelled as I slammed my hand on the wall “I want to keep you safe you will be home schooled” I didn’t give her a chance to say anything else I stormed out. I needed to get some fresh air but every step I took further away from her literally f*****g hurt me and Hunter growled until he finally gave up and block me out completely. I had to leave before I did something I would regret. I wanted to be alone so I got in my car and drove farther and farther away. I could feel all the hurt and pain she felt until she finally said

“Good night” through our mind link. I couldn’t bear the sad tone in her voice so I turned around and headed home. When I got back she was already asleep. I took off my clothes and got in bed with her. She’s heaven.

“Hope baby” I pulled her closer

“Don’t” she said and moved away from me. f**k I pulled her in to me even closer than before

“Don’t please just don’t” I said.

She remained still and finally fell asleep. Tomorrow is Saturday we have dinner plans with my brothers and their mates and Axel and Emily. I asked Alex to come but he has to go out of town with Brian tonight and will return the next day. Also tomorrow Axel has decided it’s time to return to his pack. Emily will be leaving with him since her school will be in another district she has agreed to be home schooled until she graduates. Hope has no choice she either accepts the idea of home schooling or I lock her up in our private part of the house.

I was drained I held her close allowing her touch and scent to calm me down until all the frustration, stress and lack of sleep finally caught up with me and I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning Hope was still asleep. She hasn’t let me touch her in days it’s been one thing after the other the final straw was the f*****g note. Maybe I overreacted she just makes me crazy sometimes. And it doesn’t help to have her push me away like this. She puts up a strong act but I know she misses me and wants me I can feel it even in her sleep just like I want her. I trail my fingers down her shoulder to her neck. f**k.

She opens her eyes and tries to move away from me. Not this time. I grabbed her by the waist and pinned her under me.

“I’ve had enough of this you’re not going anywhere this time.” I barked out at her. She tried to push me off her but she’s pinned down under me and she knows it’s futile to keep trying to get out of my grip.

“Baby please listen to me. I didn’t get to where I am today without being hated and we didn’t become this powerful without making enemies and I personally have a lot of enemies. The only way they can hurt me is if they hurt you. This is my way of making sure you’re safe. f****d up maybe but I have no other choice I can’t lose you”
