My Invincible Husband Has Returned

Chapter 106

Chapter 106

Liam strolled closer to the Stones.

They seemed like they had seen the devil from hell rushing toward

them with thousands of demons behind him.

The Liam before them was too horrifying!

“Ah! W-What do you want?”

Cheryl was so scared she let out a scream. Her arrogance and disdainful expression had earlier turned as pale as a sheet. Her whole body started shivering as she watched Liam inch closer toward her. She quivered as she continued to threaten, “I-I’m warning you! Don’t do anything stupid, Liam! This is the Stone Mansion! If you dare to lay a finger on me, Celena would suffer!”

Cheryl then turned to Celena with fear and shrieked, “Celena! Keep an eye on your man! This is the Stone Mansion. Is he trying to murder someone?”

It was only then that Celena came to her senses. She shouted at Liam while holding Jovie, “Liam! Don’t do it!”

Liam’s back was against her. She could only see Liam’s foreboding

silhouette. He looked like he had just come out of an endless

bloodbath, which sent chills down everybody’s spines.

Celena quickly let go of Jovie, rushed up to Liam, and held his arm. She said while desperately shaking her head, “Liam, calm down! You promised me not to do anything rash!”

Liam was stunned when he felt someone holding his arm back. He looked down at Celena, who was holding on to him tightly. She was looking at him with bloodshot eyes. She was crying, looking at him

with a pleading gaze.

His rage, as well as the chilling and murderous air he exuded, gradually subsided when he saw how Celena looked. He glared at Cheryl with a frown and ordered coldly, “Apologize to Jovie!”

It was after Cheryl saw that Celena had stopped Liam that she gradually felt less afraid. She lowered her head, not daring to make eye contact with Liam. Then, she said softly, “Sorry…”

“You should be apologizing to Jovie. Not me.” Liam’s tone was still chilly.

Cheryl’s insufferable arrogance came over her again. She stood up and glared at Liam, shouting, “Liam, you’re going too far! We’re at the Stone Mansion. Who are you to order me around?”

At that moment, Reginald walked in. He stood in place and stared at Cheryl with a sullen gaze. He banged his walking stick on the ground and shouted angrily, “What’s with this commotion? Am I dead to you? Cheryl, apologize to Jovie!”

Cheryl instantly looked at Reginald pitifully and grumbled, “Grandpa, I don’t want to! Why are you making me apologize to the little bastard? Besides, Liam is not part of the Stones! How dare a loser like him do whatever he wants here? I’m your granddaughter.”

Sherah echoed with a smile, “Mr. Stone, it’s just a small matter. Isn’t it a little too much to force Cheryl to apologize to the little bastard?”

Yafe also decided to voice out, saying, “Dad, let’s forget it. Cheryl is my daughter, and we only accepted Celena back into the family. We’ve not acknowledged that little thing as one of us. So, why make Cheryl demean herself by apologizing to her?”

However, Reginald did not do as they had imagined.

His expression got darker, and his tone got harsher instead as he

said, “Apologize to Jovie right now! Do it in this instant! You think you can forget your place and become so rotten, just because you are my granddaughter and I have doted on you for a few years!”

“You’re an adult in your twenties, and you’re bullying a young child. If word got out, people would think that our family has a terrible upbringing and that the Stones would bully children!”
