My Invincible Husband Has Returned

Chapter 103

Chapter 103

Tears welled up in Liam’s eyes. As he watched Celena bawl at the top of her lungs, he felt his heart aching badly.

Anna was looking at Celena as she cried her eyes out as well. Anna could no longer take it. She rushed out from the crowd, embraced Celena, and also started crying.

“Celena! Oh, how I have missed you, my dear cousin.”

Everyone there was looking at Celena with an icy gaze. Anna was the only one feeling sorry for her. Liam scanned through the crowd, and he committed everyone’s expressions in his memory in silence.

Sherah watched with an indifferent gaze as Anna and Celena embraced each other. She was smiling, but she was already plotting in secret about how to target Celena after she returned to Stone

Mansion.

She would never let Celena have it easy after she became a pa the family again, much less allow her to threaten her children’s position in the family.

With that, after a round of apologies, the Stone family was going take Celena and Jovie back into the family.

Just then, Sherah suddenly asked, “Celena, who owns this manor that you’re staying in?”

Everyone in the Stone family stopped in their tracks with that

question. They were all listening intently. They also wanted to know the owner of this manor.

Celena smiled shyly and explained, “Oh, Liam said that, it belongs to his friend. We’re just staying for a few days.”

“What? His friends? He was a recruit who had just been discharged from the army. How would he have such a rich friend?” Sherah was confused.

Hearing that they were just there temporarily made everyone

immediately lose interest. They all got into their respective cars and

left.

At the same time, they also learned that Celena was still the same woman with nothing. Liam, on the other hand, was still the impoverished soldier who had just been discharged.

This type of family would not threaten their positions even if they were to return to the Stone family. That was because the likes of them could never kick up any storm.

Without waiting for Celena’s explanation, Sherah turned around and left as if the place was plagued with disease and she would be infected if she were to stay any moment longer.

Qemal even mocked them obnoxiously, “Tsk! And here I thought that you’ve become friends with a loaded person. It turns out you’re ju staying in someone’s manor for the time being. You’re just relying other people’s power to frighten us!”

With that, Qemal left with the rest. He no longer had the attitude from his apology just now. He remained the arrogant spoiled rich brat who

looked down on Celena.

Celena suddenly felt very down after she saw the Stones leave without even looking back. It was because the project with Max Group was in Celena’s hands. If not for that, she could tell from their attitude that the Stones would never have bothered with her.

Suddenly, Celena asked helplessly. “Liam, am I too soft?”

Liam smiled, held her hand, and consoled her gently, “Yes, you relent

too easily, and you’re too kind! That’s why I like you so much! Stop overthinking and quickly go pack. We’ll return to the Stone Mansion together. Don’t be afraid, I’m here.”

Celena nodded with all her might. She could finally go home. She waited for this day for too long. She was desperately thinking about it, and the day finally came. She was so excited that there was a smile on her face for the entire day.

After they finished packing and arrived at the Stone Mansion in a car, there was no one welcoming them other than a maid. Celena was a little disappointed at the sight of that.

But the unhappiness faded very quickly. She was still very happy as long as she got to go home.
