Chapter 905
Esther recoiled in disgust at Bradley's words. She hastily seized a water basin and dumped it directly onto Bradley from the
balcony.
As the frigid water cascaded over him, Mandy heaved a sigh of relief, patting her chest, grateful that she had managed to evade
the unexpected shower. Otherwise, she might have unwittingly become entangled in their altercation.
Although Bradley was unprepared for Esther's retaliation, he continued expressing his intense emotions through the megaphone,
undeterred by the icy surprise.
The sound of approaching police cars pierced the air.
Upon hearing the sirens, Esther donned a shawl and descended the stairs, flanked by her bodyguards.
"Who reported the incident?" a police officer asked.
Esther stepped forward from the crowd and calmly confessed, "It was me."
"Esther!" Bradley clutched the megaphone, glaring at her. He hadn't anticipated this colder, more resolute Esther—dousing him
with cold water and involving the police. Was she still the same person he once knew?
Esther handed her passport to the police officer. "Sir, this is my passport. Bradley Warner is my former brother-in-law, who used
despicable means to torment my younger twin sister. Now, he's here harassing me, a patient."
The officers attentively recorded her statement, documenting her passport details and retrieving information on Bradley's ex-wife
from the system.
"Both your names are the same?" the police officer asked.
"Yes, because my father was an undercover DEA agent. Fearing retaliation, he sent us abroad when we were born. My sister
and I grew up in different countries. We hadn't even reunited when we were..." Esther choked up, unable to continue.
"You're Esther." Bradley approached with the roses.
Esther instinctively retreated upon catching a whiff and nervously scratched her arm. "Bradley, stay away!"
Observing Esther's discomfort, the police officer asked, "What's wrong?"
Esther sneezed uncontrollably. "I'm allergic to roses."
Witnessing her reaction, Bradley nervously protested, "That's impossible!"
"Are you blind?" Esther glared at Bradley, asking helplessly, "Sir, can you stop him from harassing me?"
"Esther!" Bradley unconsciously moved closer. Every encounter fueled an intense anger within him.
He yearned to capture Esther, to entrap her in his world forever. He wanted her eyes, heart, and entire world exclusively devoted
to him.
"Don't call my name. It's disgusting," Esther expressed with disdain.
Bradley's heart ached at Esther's gaze. "Esther, do you truly despise me this much?"
Esther looked at Bradley incredulously, wondering if he truly couldn't comprehend human language. Otherwise, why couldn't he
understand why she loathed him? If not for him, would her sister still be alive?
"Bradley, consider yourself fortunate I'm unwell now, or else..." Esther eagerly envisioned constructing an intricate cage to
securely confine Bradley within.
