My Husband Wants Me Dead novel (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 878

In an instant, a myriad of emotions surged through Bradley. His desire was to bring Esther back to his side, ensuring her reliance
solely on him, with no one else to turn to.
However, for Esther to depend solely on him meant severing ties with all those who had assisted her. This idea sprouted in
Bradley’s mind like mushrooms after rain while his rational side battled hard to restrain these fervent thoughts.
‘Bradley, are you going mad? If you do this, not only Felix won’t forgive you, but Esther won’t either! If you truly wish to regain
Esther’s love, you can’t resort to such forceful means.’
“I’ll wait here,” Bradley said, settling into a chair near the elevator.
He glanced at Kevin’s number on his phone but hesitated before calling him. Kevin couldn’t be trusted—perhaps he and Jasper
had hidden the news of Esther being alive from him.
Seeing Bradley not causing a scene, the nurse turned away. She reached the door of Room 606 and lightly knocked.
“Come in,” came the response.
The nurse entered. Esther was asleep, but Logan was already awake, an early riser, working out in the living room.
“Mr. Foster.”
Logan retrieved a white towel to wipe off his sweat. “What is it?”
“A Mr. Bradley Warner is waiting outside the elevator.”
Logan paused slightly in his towel-drying motion and replied in a low voice, “Alright, I understand.”
After the nurse left, Logan called Gabriel. “Mr. Sinclair, Bradley has shown up.”
Logan didn’t understand why everyone had fabricated an elder sister for Esther. Even if Esther had a problematic past, why not
just make her lose her memory directly? Now that they had spun such an immense lie, it meant they would need countless other
lies to sustain this initial falsehood.
“Do I need to arrange a direct meeting between Esther and Bradley?” Logan asked.
“She’s your partner now. Discuss it between yourselves,” Gabriel replied.

Logan hung up and approached Esther’s bed. She was sleeping in a questionable position, her blanket kicked to the bed’s end.
Perhaps she was having a pleasant dream. Asleep, she looked serene and beautiful.
Suddenly, Esther opened her eyes, gazing warily at Logan. After confirming it was him, she checked the time on her phone, then
groggily asked, “Logan, you’re up so early?”
“Get up and freshen up. I’ll take you to the rooftop to watch the sunrise.”
In annoyance, Esther pulled the blanket back, murmuring, “What’s so great about the sunrise? I want to sleep.”
Logan snatched away her blanket, looked down at her, and commanded, “It’s an order. You have to comply.”
“Logan, you’re acting like a tyrant from a novel!”
Despite Esther’s reluctance, she had no choice but to comply because Logan outranked her.
“When your rank surpasses mine, you can order me around, too,” Logan said coldly.
As Esther brushed her teeth, she addressed Logan, who was exercising in the room, “Logan, you’ll stay single forever acting like
this.”
