My Husband Wants Me Dead novel (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 846

“Shall we play a game?” Bradley asked.
Felix shook his head, and Bradley’s expression noticeably darkened.
Felix pulled out his tablet, and his chubby fingers danced lightly on the screen. He showed Bradley the words he typed, who
glanced at them, feeling a throbbing pain in his temples.
Felix: [I won’t follow you back.]
Felix, Sunshine, and Jacob had discussed it and unanimously decided that Felix wouldn’t go with Bradley. They feared Bradley
would use Felix as a hostage to threaten Esther again.
Bradley forced a smile, speaking coldly. “Felix, you’re my son. What’s the meaning of staying with the Sandersons?
“How do you want others to see me? That I can’t even afford to raise my own son?”
Bradley couldn’t control his anger. Each word he uttered made Felix feel an urge to stand up and escape Bradley’s sight.
Felix: [My father isn’t like you.]
Felix: [My father loves me. He’s gentle and doesn’t lash out.]
Felix: [Give me my father back!]
For Felix, his memory of his father was the one who had been seeking medical treatment everywhere for his illness. At that time,
Bradley hadn’t known whether Felix’s surgery would succeed or how long Felix could live. As such, he would stay by Felix’s side
all the time!
At some point, his gentle and elegant father turned into a violent lion.
As Felix typed, Bradley felt an indescribable pain spreading in his heart reading each word!
He looked deeply at Felix, stood up, and left without a word.
Bradley understood what it meant to be deserted by everyone.
His wife was gone.

His grandfather was dead.
His son refused to acknowledge him.
Now, he could be described as having nothing.

Bradley left the Sandersons’ castle and drove aimlessly forward until the car ran out of gas, stopping highway. In a fit of anger,
he got out of the car and roared at the vast grassland!
He poured out all the anger inside him until he was exhausted, then returned to the car and called for roadside assistance.
While waiting for roadside assistance, Bradley checked for nearby psychologists.
Felix had told him to give his father back to him. This sentence deeply pierced Bradley. He used to be a good father in Felix’s
heart—the best daddy in the world. When did he become the person Felix feared the most?

After the roadside assistance helped him, Bradley drove to a well-known local psychological clinic.
“Doctor, please help me!”
Bradley revealed all his feelings to a psychologist without any reservation for the first time in a foreign land.
His love, his hatred, his grudges, his resentment, his anger, his grief...
After listening to Bradley’s narrative, the psychologist raised a question. “Mr. Warner, do you truly believe that your wife is still
alive?”
