“Felix.”
Felix’s small shoulders slumped, and he choked out grievously. “Daddy, the pretty woman saved
me, and...”
Bradley sat beside him, took out a tissue, and gently wiped away the tears on Felix’s face. “Felix, she has nothing to do with you.
Once Felix thought of Liliane’s fierce look and how his father refused to kiss Esther, he figured it must be because his father liked

“It has to do with me. Felix huffed. Tinkerbell died, and the pretty woman is sad.”

shouldn’t go see her anymore”
“No! I want to go!” Felix stubbornly insisted. “Daddy, I want to take care of the pretty woman for Tinkerbell.”
Looking at Felix in this state, Bradley could not help but wonder if this was the intimacy of blood. relations. They had become

Clark took a deep look at Felix and comforted him. “Could it be that your father is just shy?”
Upon hearing Clark’s words, Felix widened his eyes and looked at Bradley. “Daddy, are you shy?”
“Tm not,” Bradley’s face remained cold and stern as he denied the unintentional lifeline Clark had

thrown at him.
Clark did not dwell on the matter and instead softly asked, “Felix, do you want some fruits?”
“Yes!” Felix answered cheerily, “I want to get better quickly and take care of the pretty woman for Tinkerbell”
He was determined to eat, sleep, and keep his body strong to care for his mother.
Clark took the fruits to the kitchenette, skillfully prepared a beautiful fig platter, and brought it to
Felu
“Wow! It’s so beautiful! Felix took the fork from Clark and thanked him in an endearing voice,”
Thank you, Grandpaw Clark.”
He ate the fruits in big bites-figs, crunchy apricots, watermelons, strawberries, peaches, oranges, and more. His little mouth was
filled to the brim, and he exuded an indescribable joy.
“Mr. Bradley, let’s talk,” Clark said as he entered Bradley’s office area in the suite.
Bradley followed him into the room and elegantly sat on the leather office chair, raising an eyebrow. “Clark, what’s the matter?”
“I have no comments about you and Esther getting divorced, and I won’t stop you because it’s your life,” Clark said.
He held a brown envelope, bringing over the diary that Esther had written about her secret crush. during her youth from the
manor’s attic. After listening to the contents of the pen recorder and witnessing Bradley’s indulgence toward Liliane, he recalled
