My Husband Is a Gary Stu

Chapter 1492 I Will Do As You Say

Johanna was bereft of words for a moment. Under the hopeful gaze of the steward, she had no choice but to inhale deeply
through the nebulizer twice.
In no time, the malfunction was resolved. The cabins, too, regained their illumination. However, the debris was still blocking the
tracks, and the railroad workers could only clear them after the rain subsided.
After the steward left, Johanna asked softly, “How did you get here so quickly? I thought the train already left Jadeborough?”
“I took a helicopter here.”
The torrential rain made it impossible for Timothy to drive. Left with no choice, he contacted Armand and arranged for a fighter jet
pilot to send him to where the high-speed train was stuck.
But since there was no space for the helicopter to land, Timothy had to brave the rain to get the train, thus why he ended up
completely drenched.
Opening the doors of high-speed trains was strictly prohibited to prevent passengers from getting off and running into accidents.
In order to get on the train, Timothy had to flash his marriage certificate and claimed that Johanna had forgotten to bring her
medication when she had severe asthma.
Of course, the crew knew how terrifying asthma could be. Worried that something might happen to Johanna, they explained the
situation to their superiors, and eventually, Timothy was allowed to board the train.
The man flipped the damp hair sticking to Johanna's forehead aside, then opened the waterproof travel bag. “I'm afraid the train
will be stuck here for some time. I brought snacks and water, and also a small fan...”
The fan was rechargeable and could last roughly an hour upon switching on.
The breeze from the small fan left Johanna feeling a lot cooler. As she lowered her gaze at Timothy, she spotted droplets of
water trickling down his cheeks, then gathering on his chin before dripping onto his drenched sweater.

Johanna didn't bring a towel and had to use her hand to wipe the water off his chin. “You knew it was pouring. Why didn't you
bring an extra set of clothes?”
“It'll take up too much space,” said Timothy. “Besides, the cabin is quite warm. The clothes will dry up in no time.”
He swiftly grabbed her retracting hand. There were still droplets of water hanging on his eyelashes, and his eyes were deep and
mesmerizing. “Jojo, are you concerned about me?”
“Um...” Johanna cut him off as she found it inappropriate with others present.
Timothy whipped his head to look in displeasure.
A young girl sitting on the other side was startled when she met with the man's gaze. She hastily rummaged through her luggage
and handed him a box. “I have a towel from Hermayze. It's brand new. I'll exchange it with your small fan and some snacks; is
that all right?”
Before Timothy could reject the young girl, Johanna agreed to the request. She passed the girl an unopened small fan and said,
“Pick whatever snacks you want.”
At that, the young girl quickly handed the exquisitely wrapped towel to Johanna.
Opening the packaging, Johanna pulled out a sky-blue towel printed with the Hermayze logo. “Go to the restroom and wring out
your clothes. Then use this towel to dry your hair.”
She had wanted to tell the man that the soaked clothes would give him a cold, but she ultimately decided to keep her thoughts
unspoken.
Timothy lifted the corners of his lips into a smile. “All right. I'll do as you say.”
After he left for the restroom, the young girl said to Johanna, “Your husband treats you well. He even braved the heavy downpour
to bring you your nebulizer. His actions are so much more romantic than novel plots. What's more, he's so good-looking and
dotes on his wife. It's a blessing to meet a man like him.”

The young girl chatted with Johanna for a little longer before returning to her seat when she spotted Timothy walk out of the
restroom.
The cashmere cardigan Timothy was wearing turned wrinkled after he squeezed it dry. Then again, since he was tall and
handsome, even crumpled clothes looked peculiarly pleasing to the eye when worn by him.
Johanna handed him the towel to dry his hair.
The man, however, squatted down beside the seat and lowered his head. “I've no more strength left after drying my clothes. Can
you help me instead?”
Faced with how resolute Timothy was, coupled with how the other passengers were all shifting their curious gazes toward her
direction, Johanna eventually gave up and wrapped the towel around his hair.
The cabin was comfortably warm, and the clothes on Timothy dried up relatively quickly. The rain outside had subsided, and the
dark clouds in the sky slowly dissipated. In the twinkling of an eye, a group of railroad workers had the debris on the tracks
removed.
After a nearly two-hour delay, the high-speed train finally resumed its journey.
Seeing Johanna lean against her seat on the verge of falling asleep, Timothy reached out and pulled her into his embrace. “It's
more comfortable to sleep in my arms.”
Unable to push him away, Johanna could only let him be.
Timothy lowered his gaze to look at the soundly asleep Johanna. He gently brushed his hand against her thigh, then slipped
under the hems of her sweater and touched her soft, slender wait. It was an incredibly pleasing touch.
He felt a tickle in his throat, and just as he lifted his hand to touch...
