MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Chapter FUNNY FAWMUS

The scared guy scared kept screaming for help saying that someone is trying to hurt him but everyone around him and close to him looked at him thinking he is mad because only he could see Fawmus. Fawmus said to the guy ″are you trying to call for help? Don’t bother, only you can see me. They will only see you as a crazy person″.

The guy looked around him to see people looking at him like he is crazy. The guy said to himself out loud ″how is any of this possible?″

″I don’t know. But know this, am in your head and it will be good to listen to me, and hand over the bag to me then I won’t appear before you again″ said Fawmus to the guy to convince the guy.

″Okay″ said the guy (scared) and gave the bag to Fawmus.

Fawmus took the bag from the guy and left him frightened. Fawmus returned the color of his eyes to normal and went through the ATM wall to the ATM vault. Fawmus took some money from the vault and put it inside the bag then Fawmus saw a laptop inside the bag as he put the money in the bag and said to himself ″nice″.

Fawmus returned to the others and saw Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu seated on the floor, moody, and holding hands. Fawmus said to the three of them ″hi everyone″, as he get close to them, and that got their attention then the three of them stood up and went to Fawmus.

Fawmus dropped the bag in front of the three of them then Adewale bend down in front of the bag and opened the bag. Adewale saw a lot of cash and a laptop in the bag then Adewale asked Fawmus ″where did you get the laptop?″.

″From a nice guy who gave me this bag″ said Fawmus to Adewale.

″A nice guy? That sound so hard to believe″ said Adewale (in disbelief) to Fawmus, then Fawrus looked at the three of them and saw they were looking at him weirdly.

″Okay. I took it from a guy and he won’t be going to the police, I made sure of that″ said Fawmus to Adewale.

Adewale took some cash from the bag and as he stood up he gave the cash to Fawmus and then said to Fawmus ″get us some clothes with the money″.

″Wait. How can he be the one to do that? He doesn’t even know our sizes″ said uncle James to Adewale.

″Uncle is right. Fawmus doesn’t know our sizes and am not sure he knows anything about clothes″ said Adetutu to Adewale.

“I know about clothes, don’t forget I am Leo” said Fawmus to the there of them.

“I don’t think so” said uncle James to Fawmus.

″We have no choice. It’s too risky for us to go out there without a disguise and he said he knows everything I know. If that is true he will get us fine clothes″ said Adewale to uncle James and Adetutu.

″It is risky for him too because he needs to be visible to humans to buy things and he has your face″ said Adetutu to Adewale.

″Fawmus, you can’t use my face to shop no matter what. Am sure you know the three of us are wanted and if anyone sees any of our faces out there they will call the cops. So use another human face for shopping″ said Adewale to Fawmus, looking directly into Fawmus’s eye.

″Okay. I will use another human face″ said Fawmus.

″Now we will all tell you our clothes sizes and footwear just to let you remember our sizes. So listen″ said Adewale to Fawmus.

Fawmus stared at Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James as they all tell him their sizes, and when they were done Adewale asked Fawmus ″do you get it?″.

″Yeah, pretty sure″ answered Fawmus, and left with the money Adewale gave him to get them clothes and foot wears.

30 MINUTES LATER

Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu (standing) saw a man with a pot belly and full-grown bears holding three polythene bags coming toward them. Uncle James asked Adetutu and Adewale ″who is that coming?″.

″And who do you expect to answer that question? Am sure we all don’t know him″ said Adetutu to uncle James.

″Or we do. I think it is Fawmus″ said Adewale.

″Hell no. He can’t possibly change himself into someone like this. I don’t even know what to call this man″ said Adetutu (in disapproval).

The man stopped upon getting to Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James and noticed they were all strangely looking at him. The man asked the three of them ″why are you all looking at me like that?″.

″Who are you?″ Adetutu asked the man.

″It is me Fawmus of course″ said Fawmus to the three of them.

″How come this is who you change into?″ uncle James asked Fawmus.

″I can only change into someone I had come in contact with, like touching″ said Fawmus.

″You look old and more like a drunkard″ said Adewale to Fawmus.

″Yes. See your bear, it looks..........″ said Adetutu.

Adetutu couldn’t finish her words as Fawmus cut in, ″Are you all going to continue talking about who I change into or try on the clothes I bought″ said Fawmus to the three of them, and dropped the polythene bags in front of them then they all took the nylon each.

Adetutu asked the three others ″where do I change, am the only girl here?″.

Fawmus brought up a mini wall from the ground and Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James were astounded. Adewale said to himself ″wow. I really have amazing powers″.

″You can change behind the wall″ said Fawmus to Adetutu.

″Thank you, Fawmus″ said Adetutu to Fawmus, and went behind the wall to change her clothes.

Adetutu, Adewale, and uncle James all stood in front of Fawmus looking at Fawrus with anger after changing into the clothes Fawmus bought and brought. The top Fawmus bought for Adetutu was bigger for her and the trouser was so small and fit into her waist. Adewale’s top fit him but it only covered half of his upper body and the trouser was too big. Uncle James’s top and trouser was too big for him.

Adewale (in anger) said to Fawmus ″Now take a careful look at us in the clothes bought. How do we look″.

″I don’t know″ said Fawmus to the three of them.

Uncle James smirked and said (with annoyance) to Fawmus ″what do you mean by you don’t know. You bought us the wrong clothes after saying you know everything that Leo knows and we even gave you our sizes. Is this what is in Leo’s brain?″.

″Hey, Uncle. That is not what is in my brain″ said Adewale to uncle James.

“But he kept insisting he knows everything you knows. Definitely, this is what is in your brain and what you know” said uncle James to Adewale.

Adewale was annoyed by that and said out loud to uncle James “that is not what is in my brain but his. I don’t like this, uncle”.

″It’s okay everyone. Now listen carefully to the sizes again Fawmus and try to use Leo’s brain in you this time so you won’t go and buy another rubbish″ said Adetutu to Fawmus, and Fawmus nodded his head.

Fawmus left with the sizes he was given the second time and returned with more worst clothes. Fawmus was resent back thrice and he still came back with the wrong clothes and no footwear. Then, they stopped Fawmus from going again to get them clothes so they won’t run out of cash because of clothes. Fawmus was also annoyed that Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James don’t appreciate the troubles and stress he went through to get them clothes because all they do is complained about his errors.

Uncle James (annoyed) said to Adewale and Adetutu ″how do we get new clothes now. I can’t go out there in this rubbish looking like a crazy person″.

″Or maybe we should try him one more time″ said Adetutu to Adewale and uncle James.

″Don’t bother. Am not going out there to get any clothes again. All you all do is complain and don’t even like who I changed into″ said Fawmus annoyed at the three of them.

″Okay, we are sorry″ said Adewale to Fawmus.

″How about you change us into different humans so we can go get our clothe ourselves? That way we won’t be recognized by anyone. That is a great idea″ said Adetutu to Fawmus.

″I don’t wanna do that also″ said Fawmus.

″Why?″ uncle James asked Fawmus.

″Because if I change you all into different humans all you will do is complain″ said Fawmus.

″No, we will not complain we promise. Come on we need to get out of here″ said Adetutu to Fawmus.

″Not interested″ said Fawmus.

Uncle James moved closer to Adetutu and whisper in her ears ″why don’t you go reason with him maybe he will listen to you″.

Adetutu moved closer to Fawmus and looked directly into Fawmus’s eyes then said to him as she hold his hands ″Fawmus, we need you now. We will not have survived until now if not for your help and we appreciate that. You can’t back down now because you are all we have got. Only with you can we get out of this, please help us″, then uncle James laughed from behind all of a sudden after what Adetutu said to Fawmus.

Adetutu looked at uncle James puzzled about why he was laughing then Adetutu asked him ″Why are you laughing?″.

″He already changed you″ said uncle James (still laughing) to Adetutu.

″It’s okay, right? It’s not the first time I have been changed by him″ said Adetutu to uncle James, as she looked at her new body and clothes.

″I wish there was a mirror around so you could see your face right now″ said uncle James (still laughing) to Adetutu.

Adetutu let go of Fawmus’s hand and uncle James stopped laughing. Uncle James and Adewale went to meet Fawmus and Fawmus hold their hands and changed them into old men. Adetutu was changed to an old woman and they all ended up laughing at each other new faces and bodies. Uncle James carried the bag and they all went to a boutique.

The employees at the boutique were all surprised to see elderly men and a woman buying clothes that someone in their 20s should buy, also footwear. The three of them did not mind the way the employees were looking at them because they know it was because of what Fawmus changed them into. The three of them bought clothes, face caps, and foot wears they want and left the boutique.

The four of them returned to the corner they left then Fawmus changed everyone back to their real self. Adewale, Adetutu, and Uncle James changed into the clothes they bought and foot wears then put on the face caps using it to cover half of their face so they won’t be easily noticed or recognized. As the four of them walked through the street they saw posters of them wanted as criminals.
