My Fiance Ran Away On Our Wedding Day

Chapter 82

Anika had just finished washing up and was already in her pajamas in the second bedroom and walked to the master bedroom
next door.
The bed in the master bedroom was large and soft, as Zac had stated, and could easily accommodate two people.
They turned the heater on inside the room.
Zac took Anika into his arms as she lifted her thin blanket and lay on the bed.
They kissed and hugged each other frequently after their trip, but they did not sleep in the same bed as they did today.
Nobody said anything.
Zac leaned over her and tilted his head slightly to turn off the yellow bedside lamp.
The room was pitch black.
When Zac turned off the lights, Anika closed her eyes.
But the scene stayed a calm and silent exchange of glances.
In the night's silence, his sense of touch intensified.
Zac cradled her in his arms after turning off the lights.
Zac's body pressed against her, and a warm sweat slowly trickled down his face.
It was as if a feather fell down on his heart.
A feather that was so light that it gives him thrills.
Zac and Anika had some wine at the banquet.
Their noses couldn't discern the faint aroma of wine lingering in their breaths.
The wine's scent heightened slightly, as did his temperature, as his hands wrapped around her waist became hotter.
Anika felt a little uncomfortable and attempted to move to change her position.

He paused for a few seconds before he completely stopped.
"Don't move” Zac said, his voice low and muffled.
"You're hugging me a little too tightly. It's getting a little hot” Anika grumbled.
Zac loosened his grip on her.
He then retrieved Anika, who had moved away from him slightly.
When Anika moved to the villa, he laid on the bed and imagined the future.
But now, it was hard not to hug her tightly, but it was even harder to let her go.
Anika opened her eyes in the darkness, sensed his stiffness.
"Are you uncomfortable?" she asked.
"What do you think?" Zac said as his jaw tightened.
"So you're not having any problems?" Anika hesitated to ask and, as she contemplated her word choice.
"Problem? What kind of misreading caused you to have such a negative perception of your husband, Anika?" Zac frowned.
Anika tightened his lips when he heard his warning hit.
She didn't say it was Georgia Burks’ shady idea.
"Actually, you don't have to endure this if you feel uncomfortable.Always persevere.’ She muttered before she lowered her voice
slightly.
"Are you sure you understand what you're talking about?" Zac asked, his eyes darkened.
Anika choked and softly replied, "Yes"
‘Although it was overly dramatic to say I was unprepared for the marriage, it was also overly hypocritical to say I was unprepared
for it! Anika thought.
She fixed her gaze on Zac.

After a brief silence, he let out a long sigh.
Zac kissed Anika, and it felt as if a valve had opened.
They kissed softly at first, but soon it became more aggressive as their lips intertwined.
Zac felt like a tide washed him away in a trance.
However, he suddenly pressed his slender knuckles pressed down on the hem of his shirt.
"Anika." Zac muttered.
"Huh?" she said.
Zac's eyes were dark and filled with emotion.
His voice was already hoarse, but he stopped as if he used all his strength to endure.
"It feels that I can't do it anymore."
Zac said with hesitation, but his eyes met with awkwardness.
Zac quickly took a shower with an uncomfortable expression and collected what Anika needed from the drawer next door.
When the two of them laid back on the bed, Anika clutched her stomach, and her face turned pale.
Zac frowned and looked at her.
He pursed his lower lip and asked, "Why don't I rub it for you?"
Anika turned around and paused for a moment.
She took his hand in hers and gently pressed it against her aching lower abdomen.
Zac's warm hands aided in the relief of her abdominal pain.
His expression was solemn as he helped her soothe her stomach, and he massaged her moderately, causing Anika to wince.
A "ding" was suddenly heard, and the phone on the bed lit up.

Anika reached out and took her phone.
Then she went to her Viber account, which was filled with notifications, and saw a friend request.
The Viber numbers were all unfamiliar to Anika, but their nicknames and avatars were.
"What's the matter?"
Zac asked as he sensed her anxiety.
Anika cocked her head to look at Zac and told him her honest guess.
"It could be Kayden."
Zac looked at the screen and said coldly, ‘Accept his friend request."
Anika's eyes widened as Zac finished speaking.
And she felt disbelief by what she had just heard.
"Did you just say that I accept Kayden's friend request?" Anika asked.
Zac smiled as he saw her incredulous expression.
"What are you talking about? Are you saying that I'm strict?"
He then remarked nonchalantly, "He's just an ex-boyfriend you've already broken up with.I'm still a little generous."
Anika was unsure and hesitated for a moment.
Zac, who had a laid-back tone, okayed Kayden's friend request.
Then she quickly looked at Zac but still couldn't see past his poker face.
Anika initially assumed he was simply stubborn.
But if he saw she had accepted his friend's request, he would break his acceptance and ask her to reject it.
‘But now, is it possible that I was wrong?’ Anika wondered.

"Anika, what are you looking at?" Zac asked.
"Do you really want me to accept Kayden's friend request?" she asked.
Zac raised his eyebrows and smiled, "Of course"
After that, he rubbed her back and said, "Okay, I can't even keep my eyes open anymore.Hurry and let's go to sleep.Although
she was perplexed, Anika was overcome with exhaustion, which forced her to sleep”.
As her eyes closed, she mused in a daze, ‘Perhaps he really learned the so-called generosity suddenly.Forget it.It won't be
difficult to unfriend people once I wake up”
The alarm clock awakened Anika, as usual, the next morning.
She reached for her phone, pressed the alarm clock, rubbed her eyes, and sat up, only to find that she had a few more Viber
notifications.
When she opened the app, the first thing she saw was a document and a good night message from the newly accepted friend
that looked like Kayden.
Anika quickly glanced at her friends’ three likes and two replies from their group chat.
Likes flooded from Alena, Natie and Kay.
Alena commented, [This married woman! Please pay attention to the PDA you post]
Natie said, [ Tsk It looks like the honeymoon was both happy and hot]
Anika frowned and opened their group chat with doubts after reading these two puzzling comments.
After a few seconds.
Anika's beautiful brows furrow in anger.
She patted the man beside her and couldn't help but raise her voice.
"Zac! What did you post in the group chat?"

On the screen was a photo of her and Zac's sleeping faces and snuggled up to each other.
Even though only half of his chin is visible and his photo was cute, it wasn't difficult to figure out who was in them! The group
chat included her friends who wanted to see the photo.
Only Alena, Natie, Kayleigh, and Kayden, who had been added the night before, were the "spectators."
Anika didn't have many Viber friends, making it even less likely that she still communicated with Kayden.
‘Was it because Zac was afraid of her friends revealing themselves?’ Anika wondered.
The photo was sent at two a.m.
When Anika had already fallen asleep at that point.
‘'How could she send such a photo?’ she wondered.
‘‘Zac was the only one who had a motive to "commit the crime": Anika thought.
Zac woke up early, and he leaned at the bed reading a newspaper.
He glanced at Anika's phone and casually explained, "Oh, maybe I didn't notice when I got up in the middle of the night."
"You got the wrong phone?" she asked.
‘Took my phone by mistake?’ she wondered.
Anika was so outraged that she nearly burst out laughing.
'‘She couldn't believe he's so evil!’ How could Zac edit the people in the group chat coolly after picking up the wrong phone?’
Anika pondered.
Luckily, only four people could see the photo posted.
'‘Zac was too shameless!"
