Chapter 6
Chapter 6
“Please calm down a bit…” gulped Zane before suggesting, “How about letting me handle this matter?”
“All right,” agreed Magnus,
Magnus casually threw Shawn on the ground and left with a swagger.
He didn’t worry at all that someone would dare to stop him.
Zane ordered his subordinates beside him, “Notify the security division to take all these people back!
After saying that, he went after Magnus,
“Lucifer,” Zane called out. “Anything else?” asked Magnus as he stopped,
Zane took out a cigarette, handed one to the other person, and said, “I want to have a serious talk with you?
“Alright, what do you want to talk about?” asked Magnus. He didn’t refuse,
“Since Zane was so polite, it was necessary to show him some respect as well,” thought Magnus.
Zane gave an awkward smile and said, “There are too many people here, let’s find a quieter place!
Magnus nodded in agreement and got into his car.
While driving, Zane said, “Lucifer the Great, I still need to remind you that this is Clusia, not a foreign country, and not a place where you can mess
around.”
“Is that so?” asked Magnus in reply.
In fact, the reason he took action in front of Zane just now was to test the Sixth Division’s bottom line towards himself.
Now it seemed that it was a bit tighter than what he expected.
“No matter how lawless you were abroad, we couldn’t intervene, but… Whoever it was, as long as they stood on Clusia’s land, they had to obey Clusia’s laws, Whoever dared to trample on our laws, no matter who they were, we would punish them severely without mercy” said Zane,
After Zane finished speaking, he glanced at Magnus.
He said those words as both a warning and an expression of his attitude.
Magnus took a deep drag of his cigarette and said indifferently, “I’ve been to over a hundred countries, big and small. If a law doesn’t bind dignitaries, I won’t follow it.””
Although he spoke casually, his attitude was quite assertive,
Zane suddenly looked worried and upset.
Fortunately, he was at the scene today; otherwise, Shawn’s injuries might have been more severe than just two broken legs.
However, he couldn’t guarantee that he could keep an eye on Magnus all the time.
After all, the other party was Lucifer the Great.”
If someone wanted to shake them off and secretly do something else, It was incredibly easy.
“But… I’m not the type to stir up trouble on my own initiative,” added Magnus.
It was also an indirect concession.
The meaning of this statement was very clear–as long as no one provoked him, he wouldn’t go looking for trouble.
But if anyone dared to be reckless, and then even the emperor’s arrival would be useless.
Zane breathed a sigh of relief and said, “If anyone gives you trouble, you can tell us, and we’ll provide you with a satisfactory resolution.”
Magnus nodded and then said, “If there’s nothing else, find a place up ahead to let me off”
Zane glanced at him and enthusiastically said, “Where are you going? Let me give you a ride?”
“Alright, you’re more familiar with this area. I’m looking for a place to stay. Can you recommend any good places?” replied Magnus.
“A place to stay, let me think…” murmured Zone,
Suddenly, an idea flashed across his mind.
Coincidentally, one of my colleagues has a vacant room for rent. The environnfont is beautiful and the price is affordable,” said Zane.
Magnus let out a dry laugh.
He could easily see that the other party wanted to plant a spy by his side.
However, he didn’t expose it, but pretended to be clueless and said, “Is there such a good bargain?”

Zane gripped the steering wheel with one hand and patted his chest with the other, assuring, “Would I ever lie to you?”
As he spoke, he deliberately added, “The landlady is a super beauty, you know!”
“Really?” asked Magnus as his eyes lit up and said, “Then I really have to go check it out.”
“I’ll take you there right away,” said Zane.
Zane was quite excited in his mind.
He made a turn up ahead and drove the car to the Sixth Division’s base.
“Please wait a moment,” said Zane.
After Zane finished speaking, he got out of the car alone, ran into the building, and went straight to find Xylia.
“Xylia, Xylia…” called out Zane.
“Captain Watson.” Xylia saw him in a hurry, thinking that something big had happened. But unexpectedly…
“Xylia, didn’t you say before that living alone was too lonely and you wanted to find someone to share a place with?” asked Zane.
“When did I say that?” replied Xylia in confusion.
Zane chuckled and said, “Last time when we went to your house for a barbecue, you said it yourself!”
“Did I say something like that?” asked Xylia, somewhat uncertain.
There was indeed an empty room in her house, but she had never thought about finding someone to share the rent!
“I just happened to have a friend looking for a place to rent. Here, give me the keys to your house,” said Zane
“Okay!” said Xylia groggily as she took out a key.
Zane took the key and then quickly ran out.
Xylia stood there, her face seemingly displaying a huge question mark.
Quickly, Zane brought Magnus to an upscale neighborhood.
It was a mansion of a single color.
After getting out of the car, Magnus chuckled and said, “I didn’t expect your line of work to be so profitable that you can even afford such a nice
house.”
“You’re overthinking it. My colleague’s family is just a bit better off,” said Zane.
Zane spoke as he led Magnus to a two–story small mansion.”
Magnus had just entered the villa when a pleasant fragrance greeted his nose.
“Come on, you can stay in this room,” said Zane.
Zane arranged the master bedroom on the first floor for him, and then said, “120 dollars a month, including water and electricity.”
Magnus was suddenly taken aback.
Although he had been living abroad, he still had some understanding of the domestic consumption level.
Considering the location and these conditions, at a normal price, it would cost at least 1,200 to 1,500 dollars per month.
However, Magnus knew that even if he didn’t pay, Zane would still beg him to move in.
“I have passed you the key, and you can give the rent to my colleague when she comes back!” said Zane as he handed over the key and then left first.
It looked as if he was afraid that Magnus would refuse.
After leaving the mansion, Zane let out a heavy sigh.
He could be certain that for Magnus, the king of the underground world, to be suddenly appearing in Clusia, there must be an unknown secret.
Now was the perfect time to step in!
Arrange someone close to Magnus, even if the other party was good at hiding, they would definitely reveal their true colors over time!
Zane gave himself a big thumbs–up for his cleverness.
Meanwhile, at Yiefmery Hospital, in a deluxe ward, Nestor’s face was gloomy as he listened to the doctor report the patient’s condition.
“Mr. Zinn, your son is no longer in life–threatening danger, it’s just that…” said the doctor.
The doctor said this, looking as if he wanted to say more but hesitated.
Nestor frowned and said, “What do you mean by ‘only‘?”

“It’s just, it’s just… Mr. Zinn might never be able to stand up again in his life!” added the doctor somewhat anxiously,
Nestor clenched his fists and in an undeniable tone commanded, “You must cure him. No matter how much it costs, you must heal my son!”
The doctor lowered his head and did not respond.
He knew better than anyone else that the person who attacked Shawn had shown absolutely no mercy.
Even the world’s most advanced medical expertise couldn’t cure it!
