Chapter 19
Chapter 19
Xylia stared at Magnus with a pair of beautiful eyes, holding a skeptical attitude, and sat down again.
“Are you sure you weren’t joking with me?” she asked.
“I’ll send you something to check,” Magnus replied, taking out his phone and sending a text message.
Ding, Xylia’s phone vibrated, and she glanced at it.
It turned out to be Xavier’s criminal evidence!
“This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have more explosive information in my hands,” Magnus said casually.
“Where did you get these things?” Xylia’s eyes gradually grew deeper, but she couldn’t hide her excitement.
If the information Magnus sent her was true, then she would definitely be able to bring Xavier to justice and achieve great merit.
How could she not be excited?
Magnus touched his throat theatrically and said, “I’ve talked so much with you that my mouth is dry. I’d like to have some red wine to moisten my throat.”
“Waiter, bring me a bottle of your best red wine,” Xylia shouted out.
“All right!” The waiter immediately brought up a bottle of Penfolds Grange that had already been prepared.
Upon seeing it, Xylia’s mouth twitched twice, and she stared at the waiter, asking, “How could you have such good wine here!”
The waiter glanced at Magnus and replied with a slight smile, “It was this gentleman who specifically asked us to prepare it.”
Xylia suddenly realized that Magnus had already planned everything in advance.
She glared at Magnus and gritted her teeth, saying, “You’d better not be tricking me, or even if you swallow it, I’ll make you spit it out.”
“Hehe,” Magnus chuckled dryly, calmly and naturally opening the red wine.
The meal was enjoyed with great satisfaction, but Xylia remained motionless throughout the process.
“I’m full. You go pay the bill.”
After Xylia settled the bill, her face turned slightly pale.
She didn’t mind spending the money, she just didn’t want to be seen as a simpleton.
“Don’t look so worried,” Magnus grumbled. “I’m doing you a huge favor here. If people didn’t know better, they’d think I did something as terrible as abandoning my wife and child to you.”
“You!” Xylia glared at him. “Can you give me the stuff now?”
Magnus took a thumb drive out of his pocket and casually tossed it over.
Xylia took the thumb drive, feeling a sudden surge of excitement, and then left without looking back.
Several minutes later, Xylia found Zane.
“Xylia, how did you come back?” Zane asked, full of confusion.
“Captain Watson, I have evidence of Xavier’s crimes, we can arrest him now!” Xylia excitedly handed him the thumb drive,
Zane was a bit taken aback and asked in surprise, “Do you have evidence?”
“You’ll see for yourself!” Xylia said excitedly.
Zane knew she wouldn’t joke about something like this, so he immediately plugged the thumb drive into the computer.
Soon, a series of materials were displayed,
The more,Zane looked, the more excited he became.
Over the years, the Four Oceans Gang had been laundering money, and Xavier had hidden himself very well. Even when the Sixth Division personally took action, they could only find some insignificant evidence.
There was nothing that could be done about it!
But now, Xylia had actually obtained the core criminal evidence of the Four Oceans Gang, which was enough to capture Xavier and the others all at once!
“Xylia, where did you get this information?” Zane asked impatiently.
Xylia giggled and said, “This cost me a great deal to obtain, Captain Watson. My contribution this time is not small, right?”
“It’s big enough to get you the captain’s position!”

Zane gave her a thumbs–up and then immediately issued an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, at the Four Oceans Gang’s headquarters.
“Mr. Faraday, the boarding time is approaching,” a respectful man in his fiftles stood in front of Xavier.
At that moment, Xavier looked desolate, as if he had aged more than ten years overnight.
“Dad, are we really just leaving like this?” Yelena said unwillingly.
Xavier’s face showed bitterness as he sighed, “Yelena, in the end, one has to pay for their actions. That saying is true. But I’ve come to accept it, and at least I can enjoy my twilight years in peace.”
Yelena was clearly not satisfied.
The Four Oceans Gang disbanded, and they had to hide in a foreign land, which meant that she could no longer maintain influence in the future.
“No need to pack things. We can buy them when we get there. Let’s hurry up and go.”
Xavier spoke and then walked away. Yelena followed closely behind.
A group of three people headed toward the airport.
Gazing at the scenery outside the car window, Xavier was filled with melancholy and reluctance.
At that moment, the car suddenly came to a stop.
“Lawrence, what are you doing?” Yelena’s wound on her head bumped into the front seat, causing her to grimace in pain.
Lawrence Yates exclaimed, “Mr. Faraday, something’s wrong!”
‘Xavier looked up and saw that two cars ahead had forced them to stop.
Zane came over with seven or eight team members.
“Captain Watson, what do you mean by this?” Xavier suddenly had a bad feeling in his heart.
Xylia took out an arrest warrant and said first, “Xavier, please come with us.”
“Why did you arrest him? We had urgent matters to attend to and no time to waste with you!”
Yelena complained discontentedly.
Xavier stared at Zane and tentatively asked, “Captain Watson, this isn’t our first time dealing with each other, so just speak your mind.”
“Okay.” Zane confidently said, “Well, let me tell you the truth then. We’ve already obtained evidence of your crimes, and if everything goes as expected, you won’t be getting out for the rest of your life.”
The moment he heard this, Xavier’s pupils constricted.
He knew Zane well enough. If the latter didn’t have solid evidence, he wouldn’t openly arrest Xavier.
“Hehe, all right, then I’ll go with Captain Watson.”
As Xavier spoke, he secretly made a hand gesture to Lawrence.
Lawrence quickly understood, swiftly reversed the car, then executed a 90–degree drift, and sped away.
“Quick, follow it!” Zane immediately ordered.
The two cars quickly followed.
Xavier took out a bank card from his pocket and handed it to Yelena. “This card contains all of my belongings. Let Lawrence take you away, and never come back!”
“Dad!” Yelena cried, tears streaming down her face.
Xavier maintained a calm expression on his face.
He knew he couldn’t escape his fate today, and now he just hoped not to involve his daughter.
“Lawrence, drop me off at an intersection, and then you go ahead with Ms. Faraday!”
“Mr. Faraday, how about we give it a try?” Lawrence seemed somewhat unwilling to give up.
Xavier shook his head, his attitude extremely resolute.
At an intersection, Xavier got out of the car.
“Dad!” Yelena cried out, her heart torn with grief.
Xavier waved his hand and said, “Live well!”
Lawrence pressed the accelerator to the floor.

Xavier watched the car disappear, let out a heavy sigh, and then lit a cigarette.
Inside the car, Yelena sobbed weakly, knowing that this was likely her final farewell with her father.
‘Why did this happen?
A few days ago, I was still a powerful little princess, but in the blink of an eye, I have become a pariah!
Everything is the fault of that jerk! If it weren’t for him, my father and I wouldn’t have ended up in such a situation.’
“Lawrence, I’m not leaving. I want to stay and seek revenge!”
