Chapter 728 Sleeping in the Car
Chapter 728 Sleeping in the Car
The way that Abbot spoke and acted looked timid but he was serious.
Rebecca pursed her lips and looked at him for a moment. After a few seconds, she took out her car keys from her pocket and unlocked her car. Then, she muttered, "Who wants your money?"
After that, Rebecca bent and got into her car.
Abbot stood still while watching Rebecca get into her car.
Then, Rebecca looked at him through the car window and they were silent for a while. When Rebecca was about to call him to get into the car, she saw two girls pushing each other and approaching Abbot. Before Rebecca could react, one of the girls had already taken the initiative to talk to Abbot.
"Hi, there. We don't have our mobile phone with us and we are separated from our friends. May I borrow your mobile phone?"
After the girl finished speaking, Abbot withdrew his gaze from Rebecca's car window. Then, he looked down and lied, "I'm sorry. I don't have my mobile phone with me."
The girl blushed when she heard that and turned to look at her friend.
They were all adults. As long as she wasn't a fool, she could basically understand that was a polite refusal.
The girl backed down, but the girl's friend was unwilling to leave. She tugged at the girl's hand, looked at Abbot, and said, "Sir, may we be friends? We are from Caribbean University."
The Caribbean University was a well-known university in Cocanel with high-achieving students.
After the girl finished speaking, she stared at Abbot with her sparkling eyes.
Abbot looked indifferent and answered, "No."
The girl and her friend were speechless.
Rebecca, who was sitting in the car and watching the whole incident through the car window was speechless too.
Those words that Abbot said were quite cruel. In general, sensible people would have felt embarrassed.
However, that girl was not an ordinary person. She didn't flinch or gave up. She grabbed Abbot's sleeve with her hands coquettishly and said, "Just add my contact. You aren't making any loss by having more friends."
After the girl finished speaking, Abbot frowned, looked at the car window, and said, "Rebecca."
Rebecca felt her heart skip a beat when her name was called.
The next second, Abbot continued, "Are you just going to watch other women dragging your boyfriend like this?"
Rebecca remained silent.
Those two girls who were in front of Abbot were speechless too.
Rebecca's car window was tinted in brown color. People could hardly notice whether or not someone was inside without paying attention.
Hearing that, those two girls turned to look at the car behind them.
When they saw Rebecca, who was sitting inside the car and waving at them from the car window, they froze.
Abbot said in a low voice, "Are you still not leaving?"
Those two girls didn't dare to stay any longer when they heard his words and left hurriedly.
As soon as those two girls left, there were two people left over there.
Rebecca wound down the car window a little, lay on the car window, and said jokingly, "I didn't realize Mr. Carter is that charming."
Abbot didn't continue the topic and asked, "Have you done being angry?"
Rebecca didn't say anything but she pursed her lips and looked at Abbot.
Abbot still maintained his original posture, with his hands in his pockets and a coat under one of his arms. There seemed to be a smile on his face. As long as he didn't speak, it wouldn't reveal his poor emotional intelligence, and that made him look like a noble rich man.
Honestly speaking, he looked quite charming in that sense.
After Abbot finished speaking, he took two steps forward when he saw that Rebecca remained silent.
Rebecca raised her eyes and looked confused, "Huh?"
Abbot leaned closer to her while supporting himself with one hand on the roof of the car and asked, "How much is that deal worth? I'll pay that to you. Is it okay?"
Rebecca didn't say a word and looked at Abbot, who was so close to her face.
Abbot continued, "It's my fault."
After Abbot finished speaking, he saw that Rebecca was still unmoved. He twitched his lips and was about to say something further. At the same time, Rebecca poked her head out further, grabbed his collar, and kissed him.
When Abbot sensed the soft touch on his lips, he raised his eyebrows slightly. He didn't back down nor took the initiative to kiss her harder.
After Rebecca kissed him for a while, she backed down. She said with her face blushed, "Get into the car."
Abbot asked, "Are you not mad at me anymore?"
Rebecca avoided Abbot's gaze and replied vaguely, "Yes."
Abbot stood up straight with a smile on his face. Then, he walked around the car and got into the car.
After Abbot got in and fastened his seat belt, Rebecca turned the steering wheel and asked, "Where are you going tonight?"
Abbot turned around, threw the coat to the rear seat of the car, and answered, "Go to..."
He paused halfway. Then, he turned to look at Rebecca and said, "The rear seat of your car is very spacious."
Rebecca didn't read Abbot's lines and replied solemnly, "Well, I usually take my parents on vacation when I didn't have to work. When I was buying it, I chose the spacious one deliberately."
After Rebecca finished speaking, Abbot twirled his fingers hidden under his coat and said, "How about sleeping in the car tonight?"
