My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss By Evergreen Chapter 416

Chapter 416 Kayson explained the situation briefly, only for Shien to exclaim, “Ghoul Sword is dead?!”
Shien’s heart thumped wildly. Ghoul Sword was a pre celestial expert. Although Shien himself was a captain, it was still
impossible for him to take down Ghoul Sword. A criminal like that could only be defeated by captains from the first or second
division. Anyone other than them did not seem to have much hope. “Mr. Yarde, will you... let me handle Ghoul Sword’s corpse?”
This was an immense merit. Even though Shien had not killed Ghoul Sword directly, the fifth division would still be able to earn
some credit.
Kayson hummed. If Campian were here, he would ask for the former. It was a pity.
Shien took a deep breath and said seriously, “Mr. Yarde, in that case, the fifth division will take credit because you’re not from
Admiralporium.
“But I’ll hand all the rewards over to you.”
Kayson was familiar with the process, as Campian had done the same thing.
“As you wish.”
He then informed Shien of his location and said when he recalled something, “Right, I’m not interested in Ghoul Sword’s sword.
“See if you can find a way to exchange a sword of a similar level for me.”
Ghoul Sword’s weapon was basically an evil sword, as it was tainted with the blood of countless innocent lives. Kayson honestly
did not have the least bit of interest in a weapon like this. Despite that, he did not want the sword to retain such an evil attribute,
so he dispelled the blood energy on the blade with lightning energy after contemplating it.
“You must have been terrified. Come on, I’ll take you back.”
Celeste had already recovered , so she nodded. However, she was much quieter on the way back.
Kayson gave it some thought and grabbed some calming herbs for her from a nearby drugstore. After he parted ways with
Celeste, Kayson’s gaze grew steely. Joseph Wadley... Did the man really think he was a pushover because he had not
objected?
He pulled out his phone to call Xander.

“Mr. Yarde!” Xander’s voice was hushed and cautious.
Kayson asked without much emotion, “Where’s Joseph?”
“In a hot spring in Clouriv Lodge. Do you want to see him, Mr. Yarde? I’m with him right now,” Xander replied.
Kayson answered curtly, “I’ll be there.”
Xander was alarmed but he dared not think of much else.
Kayson departed for Clouriv Lodge, the place that Xander had mentioned, after ending the call.
Meanwhile, at Clouriv Lodge...
Xander was just about to head back after hanging up when someone appeared in front of him out of the blue. His phone was
snatched and crushed directly with a crack. “Mr. Snook...”
There was a faint change in Xander’s expression while the middle-aged man called Mr. Snook squinted. “That must be troubling
for you, Mr. Campbell.”
“What do you mean...” Xander’s eyes bulged.
Mr. Snook replied with a straight face, “We’ve known about your betrayal of Mr. Wadley for a long time.”
Mr. Snook beat Xander up right away, causing the latter serious injuries, before he threw him to Joseph.
Joseph had already changed into a bathrobe and was sipping on wine, resting on a recliner.
“Xander Campbell, thank God I kept my guard up around you, or I wouldn’t have known what happened to me.”
Mr. Snook said, “Kayson’s already on the way. Are we ready to attack?” Joseph nodded. “It wouldn’t make sense not to catch the
prey heading straight into our trap.”
