It was Ghoul Sword!
Kayson was only asking in passing because the man was using a sword and the attack hinted at a grandmaster’s level. That was
why he had thought of Ghoul Sword. It was actually the criminal himself.
Kayson looked at the broken trunk and the fissure on the ground. Thanks to the remaining sword energy, his gaze turned grim
after a rough judgment. How was Ghoul Sword so good? His sword aura could absolutely break the steel power of Steelification
Doyen.
Perhaps he would not be able to kill Steelification Doyen, but in terms of damaging power, ten Steelification Doyen could not
even compare to one Ghoul Sword.
“Kayson, w-who’s he?”
Celeste was aghast. She was only a regular girl. How could she have encountered a situation like this?
“Ghoul Sword, a criminal and a grandmaster fighter.”
Celeste asked worriedly, “I-Is he very good?”
“He’s alright.”
“Are we running?”
Kayson shook his head. “We won’t succeed. He could find
me again since he’s found me once.”
Speaking of which, Kayson furrowed his brows, wondering how Ghoul Sword had found him.
Ghoul Sword stared at him unnervingly with brimming killing intent.
“The crystallized energy that I’ve nurtured for years has been destroyed because of you, you b*stard.”
Ghoul Sword’s tone was incredibly icy.

“My grudge can’t even be appeased by ripping you apart!” Kayson furrowed his brows as his eyes gleamed coldly.” How many
innocent lives have you taken by nurturing the crystal with human blood?
“Someone like you should die and not leave behind any remains.”
Ghoul Sword snorted. “It’s just some ordinary Tom, Dick, and Harry. Let them die. It’s their honor to become nourishment for my
sword training.
“But you’ve ruined it all. I’m going to kill you and suck your energy dry. You’re in the pre-celestial level, aren’t you?
“Your energy is as good as that of 100 regular people. Let your life be my compensation.”
Ghoul Sword waved a hand, throwing a black sword light toward Kayson. The outer edge of the attack was crimson
red and smelled strongly of blood and energy. Kayson remained calm as he countered with a Vulcan Firepalm. The flame was
engulfing but it was cut by the sword light. The powerful sword aura extinguished the flame directly and overpowered Kayson’s
energy.
Ghoul Sword smirked. “Kayson, I know you. You have good explosive power, and it’s impressive that you were able to kill
Steelification Doyan.
“But you’ve got to know, I’m not like that old bum Steelification Doyen. Grandmasters who train their physical aspects have
always ranked the lowest in terms of damaging power among us fighters.
“It’s like people like us, who are trained specifically to attack, don’t really have a high regard for people with tortoise shells.
“Once their defense is taken apart, they’re basically meat on the chopping board. I’m different.”
While he spoke, he kept launching attacks, one fiercer than the other. The trees in the forest collapsed because of his sword
light, and Kayson had to keep retreating with Celeste.
“As I expected, aside from having immense energy, you’re useless.”
Ghoul Sword was incredibly agile and came close to Kayson in the blink of an eye. The strongest of his attacks
then came down.

Kayson barely avoided it and suddenly asked, “Do you know Ground-Scrincan?”
“I’ve heard of it. It’s an elusive technique of the Shamanian Society,” Ghoul Sword answered with a frown.
Kayson suddenly let go of Celeste’s hand and dashed forward , shocking Ghoul Sword, who went flying at the collision before he
could attack.
“Ugh!” Ghoul Sword’s nose was broken alongside a few of his ribs, and he began to cough blood.
