My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss By Evergreen Chapter 412

Chapter 412 Silvan looked awkward as Evan pressed his head down to apologize to Kayson.
“Mr. Yarde, I’m sorry!”
That stunned Kayson momentarily before he smiled. “It’s not so serious. There’s no need to apologize. But of course ... I’ll
accept it since you’ve already apologized.”
He then asked, “You’re one of Skyspring’s Killicks?”
Silvan paused and nodded. “Yeah... How did you know?”
“I beat up someone named Harold Killick,” Kayson answered.
Silvan was speechless before he replied drily, “That’s... my younger cousin. My parents aren’t exactly big among the Killicks.
While I’m a Killick, I’m not like a core family member.”
Kayson chuckled. “So you want to achieve something and go further to gain the Killicks’ acknowledgment?” Silvan was
astonished. “You can see this too?”
“You wear your impatience and eagerness to earn merit on your sleeve,” Kayson answered. It only made Silvan more awkward.
Kayson had actually beaten up Harold, and he himself remained unscathed –
and he knew people from Admiralporium too. It was evident that he was not an average person. Evan grinned upon seeing that
their conflict was resolved. “Mr. Yarde , I can’t leave for the time being. Silvan will take you back.”
“Sure.”
Kayson nodded, and Silvan went to fetch the car cheerily. He was impressed by the former now that he had seen what he could
do.
Kayson recalled that Jules and Ivan had come from Skyspring with Jeremy back when Nicholas had attacked. They had said that
they would spend some time traveling around Clouspring before they went off the grid. “Has Mr. Killick Sr. gone back?” Kayson
asked. Silvan answered awkwardly, “I... I don’t qualify to know his whereabouts. There are a lot of Killicks. We’re Killicks too but
we don’t stay in the family mansion.”
Kayson understood, but Jules had not made contact after saying that he wanted to travel around Clouspring, and Kayson felt
that he would not just leave without a greeting. He thought about it and called Jeremy to ask.

Jeremy seemed quite bewildered as he replied, “It seems like it’s been a while since Mr. Killick Sr. and Ivan were last seen in
public...
“Now that you mention it... The Killicks have been pretty
quiet recently. It looks like they haven’t been up to anything.” Kayson felt that something was not right. “Uncle Jeremy, check if
they’ve gone back for me if you’re free.”
“Sure.” Jeremy agreed and ended his call with Kayson.
Kayson then ran into Celeste on the ground floor of the company.
“Kayson!” Celeste looked delighted.
Kayson smiled as well. “Did you pass the interview?”
“Mm!” Celeste was beaming. “I’m new and not as experienced, so I wasn’t given the title of director.
“Ms. Wolfenden asked me to take on the tasks of the director under the name of the vice director, and my remuneration will be
calculated based on the salary of a director. When I show my accomplishments later on, she’ll promote me.”
Kayson nodded. “That’s alright. It’s reasonable.”
Celeste smiled. “I’m already so delightfully surprised that I wouldn’t dare wish for more. And I have you to thank for it. Don’t go
when you get off work. I’ll buy you a meal!”
“It’s fine...”
Celeste was not having it. “We have to!”
Kayson could only agree to it. When he went to the project department, Easton and the others were having a lively discussion.
“My god! You guys have no idea. The new CFO is as pretty as Ms. Wolfenden!”
Easton did a little dance. “I went to sneak a peek. She’s pretty, and her voice is sweet. She seems quite decent character-wise,
and her figure? Perfection!” Reva pursed her lips. “Are you exaggerating? Ms. Wolfenden’s already super gorgeous, so how
could she compare to her?”
