My Ex-wife’s Hidden Personalities ( Freya Kaufmann )

Chapter 426

Chapter 426 Leaving Again

Freya felt like a captured rabbit.

Her buttons were undone one after another. She lowered her head and seethed with anger, witnessing the entire process.

Who’d have thought the man who usually wore a cold demeanor would have such a lustful side?!

Under Freya’s denim jacket was a simple white camisole. Radley’s eyes were deep, and hist fingers toyed with the camisole straps…

Freya gradually succumbed to Radley’s tenderness and thoughtfulness. He proceeded leisurely, occasionally raising his incredibly handsome face to whisper softly into her ear. It continued until the last piece of clothing fell to the side of the bed.

The dreamy atmosphere crafted by the big bad wolf was now gone. He had already wooed the little white rabbit to the point of being dizzy and had shed all her fur. It was time for the main course, and if he waited any longer, his dear wife might think he needed to drink some nourishing soup.

Freya successfully paid a “painful” price, and even her pleas for mercy were shattered.

Finally, when the man generously decided to let her go, she faintly heard Radley chuckling in her ear. “My stamina isn’t the best; I’m sorry to have put you through this. I promise to drink more nourishing soup when we get home.”

Freya gritted her teeth as she rediscovered the man’s wicked side. “Don’t drink any more; one more sip and someone will die!”

With a smile at the corner of his mouth, Radley lowered his gaze to the already sleeping Freya. He carried her to the bathroom, cleaned her up, and changed her into fresh pajamas. Afterward, he held her in his arms.

The person he had searched for so long had finally returned, soothing the long-standing anger and anxiety within him right then.

Radley held Freya close, his expression gradually turning cold. Jamie Fraser, even if Freya escaped unscathed, I will find you, and I will kill you!

The next day, Freya woke up feeling sore and achy at 10 a.m.

Radley was no longer by her side, and when Freya checked the time, she was immediately startled. She had made plans with Matthew to leave early this morning, but now it was well past the agreed- upon 6 a.m.

Freya hurried downstairs and ran into Connor in the living room.

“Connor, where’s Radley?” Freya asked.

Connor smiled and replied, “Mr. Monaghan went to buy you some clothes. He didn’t want to disturb your sleep, so he rescheduled the flight for the afternoon.”

Freya nodded and then asked, “What about Matthew?”

Connor looked somewhat surprised and said, “Mr. Hood just left. Do you need to find him?”

Freya frowned. “Where did he go?”

“He probably went back to his Florin. Now that you’ve been found, he must be planning to

return.”

Freya quickly walked to the front door. Upon seeing the empty road outside, she fell into silence.

Matthew must have thought she stood him up, but Freya’s heart trembled at the thought. Based on the time Jamie had given her the injection, it wouldn’t be long before her addiction acted up again.

Was she to show that pitiable appearance before Radley?

Freya bit her lower lip and stood there for a while.

Connor suggested, “Miss Kaufmann, shall I give Mr. Hood a call?”

Freya shook her head. “You go ahead inside. I’ll stay here and calm down.”

There were security arrangements on both streets around the villa. Connor nodded and returned to the villa.

Freya waited until Connor had left before taking out her phone and dialing Matthew’s number. The phone on the other end kept ringing with a busy tone, but no one answered.

Just as Freya was about to despair, a voice sounded beside her. “I thought you had changed your mind.”

Freya turned her head and found Matthew standing by the wall near the front gate, looking steadily at her.

“I’m sorry, I overslept.” Freya hurriedly walked over.

Matthew’s gaze swept over the red marks on Freya’s neck, his eyes darkening slightly.

“It’s okay. Since you’re here, let’s go.”

A car pulled up from the side, and Freya and Matthew got in.

When she had decided to leave last night, her plan was to leave a note for Radley. But she had overslept and didn’t have time to leave a word.

Although there were security guards around the villa, everyone knew that Matthew was one of them. They were on guard against outsiders, but no one expected Matthew to take Freya

out.

As they drove away from the street, Freya bent down slightly to avoid the gaze of everyone around her.

Matthew took her all the way to the airport in Colkirk.

The originally long convoy of cars was decreasing one by one.

Freya turned her head to look.

Matthew smiled and said, “Our entire convoy was too conspicuous. To avoid being discovered by Jamie, we’ll board separately.”

Freya nodded. Their timing was quite fortunate; they had just arrived at the airport, and it was almost time for boarding.

They couldn’t make calls after boarding the plane. Freya frowned and quickly composed a message for Radley.

‘Radley, when I was with Jamie, he injected me with something called Icy Sea…

Freya didn’t want Radley to see her in such a disheveled state, but she also didn’t want to deceive him. She described the situation with Jamie and the ‘Icy Sea’ truthfully in her message and continued typing, ‘Matthew knows a few reputable institutions. I’m going there for rehab. Don’t worry, I’ll be back in about three months, and then I can reunite with and Jolly.

you

Freya pursed her lips and added, ‘Don’t come and see me. I don’t want you to see me in such a miserable state.”

Even she did not want to see that version of herself.

After sending the message, Freya boarded the plane. Her phone rang, and a flight attendant passed by, politely smiling and saying, “Miss, please turn off your phone.”

Freya had no choice but to hang up the call and power off her phone.

She took a deep breath. She had searched online the day before and found that the rehab period varied from country to country. The most painful days were the first five days, followed by around thirty days. By the ninetieth day, she would basically be fully cleared.

The plane began to taxi, and Freya’s fingers trembled. She furrowed her brow as a wave of fatigue washed over her, and the pain gradually intensified. It was almost time.

Matthew, sitting next to her, noticed that something was wrong. “Freya, what’s happening?”

Freya clenched her hand tightly, gritting her teeth. “How long does the flight from Kundin to Mutrya take?”

Matthew frowned. “Twenty hours.”

Freya’s vision blurred, and she said, “I might not last that long. What should we do?”

If she had a withdrawal episode on the plane, it would be easy for the surrounding passengers to notice, and she might be sent back even before reaching Mutrya.

Her voice was muffled as she quickly made a decision. “Matthew, knock me out.”
