My Ex-wife’s Hidden Personalities ( Freya Kaufmann )

Chapter 411

Chapter 411

Chapter 411 Cunning And Despicable Person

Jamie observed the disheveled figure lying on the ground, his eyebrows furrowing in

concern.

This was a tactic Falcon had used in the past to control others. Freya had truly managed to infuriate him.

He had wondered how this strong woman would appear after being subjected to the terrifying Icy Sea.

Would she, like those before her, submit and grovel at the feet of Falcon, begging for rewards?

The thought of Freya becoming like that initially excited Jamie, but then a violent rage surged within him.

He silently watched Freya while the doctor beside him wore an expression seeking praise. “Icy Sea primarily attacks the brain when used over a prolonged period, affecting the person’s memory, emotions, thoughts, and physical movements. These abilities will gradually be impacted.”

Observing Jamie’s silence, the doctor pondered in his heart. This woman must have seriously offended the esteemed Mr. Strategist. Otherwise, why would Mr. Strategist resort to using the Icy Sea?

He continued to describe the subsequent damage, hoping to satisfy Jamie. “Sir, if this substance is prescribed for an extended period, many people will develop schizophrenia, experiencing anxious and suspicious emotions. Additionally, it affects the immune system and, eventually, the blood vessels and digestive system. It could potentially cause necrotizing vasculitis, leading to amputation as a last resort. In women, it could also affect fertility.”

The doctor looked smug. “But all of this is a gradual destruction, and it won’t affect her research in the next month or two.”

Jamie felt annoyed by the doctor’s incessant chatter, which seemed to be buzzing in his ears.

The

person on the ground was also a thorn in his heart.

“Get out!”

The doctor, who was boasting, was taken aback. “Huh?”

Jamie turned his head, his gaze cold and sharp. The doctor trembled at the coldness in his

eyes.

“We will leave now, Mr. Strategist!”

The two doctors hurriedly left the room, and as the sound of the door closing echoed, Jamie turned to look at Freya on the ground.

Perhaps because it was her first time being injected with the Icy Sea, and the dosage was not small, Freya had already fallen into a semi-conscious state.

Jamie clenched his fists, suddenly feeling nervous.

“Freya, you won’t die just like this, will you?”

He stayed in Freya’s room until noon, and she gradually regained consciousness on the bed.

She felt weak all over. When she recalled the substance that Jamie had injected into her earlier and then thought about the “effects” that followed, her heart turned cold.

She understood what that substance was.

At that moment, Jamie had his back turned to her.

Freya forced herself to sit up, her gaze falling on the bedside lamp.

Kill him!

She reached out to grab the lamp, but Jamie’s voice rang out coldly, “I advise you to be smart and not move. You’ve just regained consciousness, and now you’re no match for me.”

Freya gritted her teeth, filled with anger. “Jamie, you are the most despicable person I have ever met!”

Jamie turned around, a devilish smile playing on his lips.

“You brought this upon yourself. If you could just behave and stop trying to escape, I wouldn’t have to resort to these measures.”

“This afternoon, you’re going to give Edward a physical examination,” Jamie continued, “and I trust that you won’t let Edward know about this.”

Freya clenched the blanket, wishing she could kill him.

“What makes you believe me?”

Jamie raised an eyebrow. “Because I know the kind of person you are. You have boundaries, and you wouldn’t harm innocent people, would you?”

Freya seethed with anger, almost ready to vomit blood.

What a despicable person!

She gasped for breath. “Get out!”

Jamie sneered, realizing that Freya was in a decent, stable enough condition. So, he didn’t have to worry about her sudden death.

He got up and left the room.

Freya sat on the bed for a while, biting her lower lip tightly.

She knew how many lives Jamie’s injections had destroyed. Even the most resilient ment would become unrecognizable after being tainted by those substances.

When her strength had recovered enough, Freya got out of bed and entered the bathroom.

Standing in front of the mirror, she tilted her head slightly, revealing the needle marks on her neck.

The words Jamie had said during her hazy moments echoed in her ears.

The injection method was capable of creating an addiction in one go.

Freya’s face turned pale, and in anger, she grabbed the hand soap on the sink and smashed: fiercely against the mirror.

She absolutely couldn’t let herself be controlled by such a despicable person like Jamie, but for now, she couldn’t think of a solution.

At three o’clock in the afternoon, after Freya finished washing up, she put on a high-necked shirt and left the bedroom.

Her face was pale as she headed to the doctor’s office.

Inside the room, the two people Jamie had brought today were standing in front of the desk. studying the research materials left by Lucius.

They looked up and saw Freya enter, a hint of mockery on their faces.

“Well, well, Professor Harlan, it’s an honor to meet you.” One of them walked up to Freya and smiled.

So what if she was at the top of her field? Once injected with that substance, this top medical professor was soon going to fall.

Freya gave the person a cold glance and did not shake the hand they extended.

She walked up to the other person and snatched the research materials from his hand.

“What are you doing?” the person exclaimed angrily.

Freya looked at the materials in her hand. Russell and Lucius were both top researchers in the industry, and the data they had produced under immense pressure was extremely

valuable.

Just by looking at the greed in the eyes of these two individuals, she could tell their intentions.

“Didn’t Jamie say that you two are here to assist me?” she asked.

The doctor furrowed his brow. “Yes, so we should be researching together!”

Freya sneered. “Do you think you’re worthy of looking at my research materials?”

Her words were harsh.

The doctor immediately became defiant. After all, he was a renowned medical scientist from

Kundin.

“Miss Kaufmann, we were invited here, unlike you. Please understand your own position and

hand it over to me!”

The doctor was impolite and reached out to snatch the research materials from Freya’s hand.

Freya didn’t hold back either. Despite waking up to find herself drugged and weakened, she skillfully evaded the doctor’s lunge and delivered a swift kick to his knee.

Utilizing her agility, Freya targeted a vulnerable spot.

With a thud, the doctor fell to the ground, the sound of his knee hitting the floor causing a jolt of pain.

“You wretched woman!” The doctor attempted to rise from the ground.

The other doctor rushed over to assist him.

Freya gracefully placed the research materials on the table. As she turned around, the two men were already charging toward her.

While organizing the materials, she had discreetly obtained two empty syringes.

Freya raised her hand, and her hand movements were swift, stopping the needle just a centimeter away from one of the doctor’s eyes.

“Why you! I was invited by Mr. Fraser. Release me!”
