My Ex-wife’s Hidden Personalities ( Freya Kaufmann )

Chapter 365 Self-Proclaimed Intelligence

Chapter 365 Self-Proclaimed Intelligence

Freya’s eyes narrowed as she recalled what Radley and Braxton had mentioned earlier.

“Ink, when those people kidnapped Jolly, they actually placed a cushion underneath her, and when I was inside that building, they didn’t even detonate the bomb”

“What do you mean?” Inken looked up with a puzzled expression.

Freya pursed her lips. “Ever since I obtained The Compendium of Medical Wisdom, I’ve encountered numerous dangers, including threats to my family. My brother had a car accident, and Jolly was. kidnapped. Every time, it felt extremely perilous, but looking back, it seems like those people didn’t actually intend to take lives.”

Inken furrowed his brows and pondered for a moment before sneering. “It seems like you’re being naive. If they truly didn’t want to take lives, why would they detonate the bomb? Radley almost lost his life, and LEV’s previous international cases were extremely brutal and ruthless. They were devoid of any humanity!”

“That’s where the problem lies.” Freya squinted her

Inken was taken aback.

eyes.

The two locked eyes, and she gritted her teeth. “LEV must have some connection to the Kaufmann family. I just haven’t figured out where exactly this connection lies!”

While they were talking, Freya’s phone tang. She picked it up and glanced at it. It was a call from the Kaufmann family.

The previous butler had perished in a large fire, and this new butler had been working for the Kaufmann. family for over ten years. His name is Hugo Cantrell. He had been a soldier when he was young and was known for his efficiency.

Hugo said with anger in his voice, “Miss, someone tried to sneak into our house with weapons. I’ve already apprehended the person. What should we do?”

Freya furrowed her brows and stood up abruptly. “Did you ask who the person is?”

Hugo replied, “The maid in the house said she saw her on TV. She often caused trouble for you during the show!”

Freya was taken aback. That person participated in a show?

It could only be the jewelry design competition. Freya quickly thought of one person in her mind-Riley Freeman.

Riley broke into the Kaufmann family with weapons? What was going on?

And at a time like this.

Freya realized that the competition was taking place in Hartterre, and Inken was also from Hartterre.

“Hugo, keep an eye on the person for now. I’ll handle it when I get back,” Freya said as she left in a hurry.

After hanging up the phone, Freya looked at Inken and asked, “Do you know what happened to Riley after she was disqualified?”

Inken had been staring at the screen, but when he saw her reaction, he looked up at her and listened to her finish the call.

“Riley is from Praco. I heard that after she targeted you on the show, the Monaghan family, your family. the Marshall family, and, of course, our family all united to stop her family’s business. The Freeman Family had strict family traditions, and I heard that she was eventually kicked out of her house.”

Inken frowned. “After all, Riley is from the Freeman Family. It was just a moment of anger from the head of the family to kick her out. After some time, when her father calms down, she will definitely go back. Why are you asking about this?”

Freya stared at her phone and felt that something was not right. “Riley came to Caltun and even brought a weapon to my house.”

Inken’s eyes widened. “Is she crazy?”

“As you said, she can eventually go back to the Freeman family, but if she hates me so much that she brings a weapon to my house to kill me, she will ruin her life then.”

Freya furrowed her brows. “I knew she was foolish during the show, but I didn’t expect her to be this foolish.

Inken thought for a moment. “Why aren’t you curious about how she found the Kaufmann family? Your house had a big fire recently, and the whole Caltun knew about it. However, the news of the reconstruction was not widely known. How did she find out?”

The two looked at each other, and she narrowed her eyes. “So, it’s very likely that someone led Riley there.”

Inken pondered. “I’ll go back with you. We need to see someone to find out.”

After leaving the villa, the two got into the car. Inken drove, and they headed toward the Kaufmann family.

At a cafe not far from the villa.

The camera on top of the cafe rotated 365 degrees, moving back from Freya’s villa.

On the other end of the internet, a man sat with his back to the light in a dimly lit villa while looking at the computer screen in front of him as he lightly tapped his fingers on the desk.

“Indeed, it’s useless to say anything to a fool. Even if I taught her word by word, she would still do something foolish.”

The middle-aged man across from him shrank back. “You’re right, Mr. Strategist.”

The man cautiously kept his head down and was afraid to look at the Strategist’s face. After all, besides the boss, the Strategist was the most mysterious man in the organization.

It was said that the Strategist was very cautious about others knowing his identity. What if he accidentally saw the Strategist’s face and got eliminated by the organization?

The Strategist let out a cold and sinister laugh before casually tapping the table a few times. Each tap hit the person’s heart like a hammer.

“The scariest thing about fools is not their stupidity, but the fact that they often think they are clever. I told

her to go to the hospital, but she went to the Kaufmann family instead. The Kaufmann family is so tightly. guarded now. This pawn is completely useless.”

So, what should we do now, Mr. Strategist? Should we silence her?”

The man sitting at the table pondered for a moment. His thin lips curled up with a hint of wickedness in his smile.

“Just cut off all contact with her. Freya is very clever; she should be able to tell that someone directed Riley here when she meets Riley. When the time comes, she will surely interrogate Riley thoroughly, and by then, Riley won’t be able to reveal anything.”

“Understood.”

After the subordinate finished speaking, he hesitated for a moment and said, “Mr. Strategist, today the leader of Falcon asked why we haven’t retrieved that compendium yet.”

The Strategist, who sat at the table, replied in a calm tone, “How did you respond?”

“I said we would do it as soon as possible.”

“That’s a good response.”

The subordinate received praise and started to feel a bit nervous as he continued. “Actually, we have a considerable number of people in our branch in Caltun. If we launch a full-scale attack, we might be able to eliminate the Kaufmann family. Even if we have to take a risk, we can secretly rebuild the organization in Caltun. By doing so, we could have obtained that compendium a long time ago.”

He was the leader of the LEV organization in Caltun. He received an unexpected call from the Strategist today. In the presence of this high-ranking leader, he wanted to showcase his intelligence in hopes of gaining recognition from the organization!

The man sitting at the table suddenly chuckled.

“Are you questioning me?”

“No, no. Not at all. I simply believe that you are too generous.”

As the man listened to the Strategist’s chilling voice, it sent a shiver down his spine, even though it lacked a heavy tone.

A hint of murderous intent seemed to linger in the air

“I merely stated that the most frightening aspect of fools is their self-proclaimed cleverness.”
