My dear lawyer

Chapter 489 Wedding Banquet

Vivian nodded quietly in exchange for William's frank words, "I know."

"You know?" William was stunned.

Did you say you didn't see it?

Vivian said absently, "I heard what Selina just said. What's up? What's the matter?"

"Are you ok?" William narrowed his eyes to see if she really didn't care, or acted as if nothing had happened.

Vivian's eyelids closed slowly, and her body seemed to have this sleepiness. She seemed to be talking about an unimportant person without any mood fluctuation when she was talking about Angie.

He was uncertain, and felt quite uncomfortable. He was annoyed when she cared and didn't want to explain anything to him; he thought she didn't believe him. But now it made him more miserable that she didn't care about his explanation. William sighed in his heart. Sure enough, man was a self-tormenting creature.

"Angie just came here to say goodbye, and she's going abroad in a week." William explained, although she didn't necessarily want to hear it.

Vivian raised eyebrows, going abroad? With Angie's temperament, it was impossible to go abroad in a mess as long as there was a chance even if there was such a big change at home.

She said quietly, "That's good. It's quiet in foreign countries, and it will be good for her to sort out her mood."

William looked at Vivian up and down, and his twisted eyebrows were about to turn into a mountain.

The thoughtful Vivian was terrible! He couldn't help saying when Vivian was about to leave, "Don't you have anything to say?"

Vivian was stunned. She sneered, after thinking about it for a while and said, "Do you want me to wish her a pleasant journey?"

William's face turned black.

Vivian left with a touch of irony in her eyes.

It seemed that Alan's case had come to an end, and Daniel's case was basically confirmed by the investigation, but William found it incredible that everything was going well. There were some indescribable feelings in his heart. He didn't know how to express it. He always felt there were many mysteries that had not been solved.

The amount of black money that made Daniel and Alan fight against each other was huge.

But the exact source of the money had not been found up to now. What was more, Daniel provided good food and drinks to Vivian and Angie after kidnapped them, but he set a big fire and just ignored them at last.

But he shouldn't keep them for several days if it was just to vent his anger?

Last but not least, Daniel seemed to have disappeared from the world, and he might never be found again. William hated the fact.

At least, there was at least one thing that made him feel good.

William's mouth rose when he looked at the invitation above and turned to Vivian's room.

Vivian dressed in her pajamas with her cell phone in hand. Suddenly she raised her head and tightened her eyebrows, "Knocking on the door is the least respect for people in the room!"

"Oh, really?" William raised his eyebrows, bent his fingers and knocked twice on the doorframe.

Vivian was a little angry.

"What's the matter?" She took an impatient look at him and returned her attention to her cell phone.

William paused, stood at the door with his chest in his hands. "There's an invitation to an engagement party from my friend. I want you to go with me."

"Why should I join you at your friend's party? William, we will go to court after two days. "Vivian reminded him.

William sneered and realized that she still remembered it!

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. It has been cancelled." William said apologetically.

Vivian exclaimed, "What?"

"I said that it's cancelled!" William spoke coolly.

Vivian's face changed. Had he had such a great influence that he directly decided the outcome of the lawsuit?

"What did you do?"

He knew he could not continue to tease her when he looked at her pale face. He laughed and shook his head. "I told them that we are going to get married and give our child a happy family. We share the custody of Roe." "You lied to the court!" Vivian was shocked.

William's tone was not clear, "This is the truth, and the wedding candies had been sent out."

"You..." Vivian couldn't speak.

She had seen forced buying and selling, but she had never seen a forced marriage yet!

Last time, he asked for her consent at least, but this time, he told the world directly without her consent. How could he do it to her?

Vivian's teeth itched with anger.

After a while, she said, "William, you can't do this."

"Why can't I? I have a lot of confidence that I can be a good father and a good husband. Vivian, you should believe me and believe what you think in your heart."

"No way! The husband I asked for would be at least faithful to me unto death, and the good daddy that Roe needs is not your type that always stares and scolds!" Vivian shook her head a little dejectedly. William didn't say anything about it. He just looked at Vivian for a long time, which made her a little flustered.

After a while, he turned his head, "You will change your mind."

"I wouldn't!" Vivian muttered to herself.

William straightened up and said, "I'll have a dress sent to you for the engagement party the day after tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing you in full swing."

Vivian's lips dropped. What kind of engagement party? Was it an enemy's wedding banquet?

And by that day, she finally knew why William had to come and make her look better.

Vivian looked vaguely at the red carpet on the first floor of the hotel and the words on the banner when she was in a customized evening bobtail with a price tag of several million dollars.

Was it the engagement of Haylee and John? Vivian found herself unable to laugh.

She pulled at the corner of her mouth and was embarrassed. "Don't laugh like that!" said William

Vivian's emotions which had been surging up were gone like the sea water. She gave William a cold look, "I don't care"

Today, William wore a black suit matching Vivian's white dress, plus their beautiful and attractive appearances, which immediately won countless surprise and envy. As a result, the eyes on them suddenly increased.

William and the team around him couldn't resist the exploration of the people who were interested in even if they were very low-key after Alan's case. William's identity was known only to a certain small circle. At this moment, everyone saw him appear with a light of surprise on their faces.

They didn't hear about his relationship between them.

Some people discussed in a low voice, of course, some of them talked about the woman beside him.

"You seem to be very popular recently." Vivian noticed the eyes around him and joked. William glanced at her and said nothing.000000
