My dear lawyer

Chapter 406 Let Go of Her

Before William could say anything, Selina shouted, "Our version of the story? Let' cut the crap here. Now that you consider what we are saying is just our version of the story, let's go and watch the videotape. Then we would know whose version is true. Angie, you wouldn't admit you are lying until we watch the videotape, would you? Everyone would know you were lying a few minutes later. Let me remind you I gave you chance to admit what you did. Angie looked terrified. She looked at William with tears, and also expectation and suffering from injustice.

William squinted and said to Angie in a low voice, "Follow me."

Angie seemed to be surprised by William's decision, and her eyes suddenly brightened.

Was she in a different situation now?

William still loved her.

Following William, Angie happily glanced at Vivian and Selina who was stamping on the ground. There was disdain in Angie's eyes.

"Bang", the door was closed, and Vivian suffered a heartache for what William did.

"What the heck is William doing? How could he still favor that bitch in situation like this? What an asshole! I praised him for finally making the good decision just a moment ago. Why would I say that?"

Selina said so and kicked the sofa hard with her high-heel. Her pointed heel sank into the sofa. Selina kicked so hard that the sofa was into a U shape for a long time.

Vivian's face darkened and raised the corners of her mouth to make a fake smile, "Isn't this normal? I already got used to this."

Vivian already got used to William's consideration for Angie, but her heart would still ache.

"Vivian..." Selina was worried about Vivian. She looked at her and wanted to comfort her but didn't know how.

Vivian took a deep breath and said, "I know what you want to say. There is no need to worry about me. I am okay. I am already over William. I am just worried about Roe." It seemed that she couldn't let Roe live with William.

Although William assured her that he would take good care of Roe and arrange doctor for Roe's cardiac illness. But she couldn't take risks.

She couldn't even take 0.0001% risk with regard to her son.

Whether William could keep his promise was still unknown.

If there was 0.0001% of chances that William would break his promise, Roe could be dead.

Selina nodded seriously and said, "I know. Vivi, whatever you want to do, I will support you. You don't need to think much about such things. We are best friends." Looking at Selina's supportive eyes, Vivian almost burst into tears.

In order to protect her ego, she made a deal with William for Roe's huge medical expense, but she forgot her doing so would make her loved one feel sad for her. Holding Selina's hands, Vivian smiled with tears and said, "Thank you, Selina."

They looked at each other and smiled at each other with encouragement.

It was not long before William and Angie came out of the study. Angie walked out of the room with joy, seemed to make herself tidy inside. The traces of struggle in her were gone, and she looked great now. William came out a few steps behind Angie. William looked straight at Vivian the moment he came out. He saw Vivian's eyes were reddish, which shocked him.

Did she just cry?

William suddenly doubted whether his previous behavior was right. But he believed it was not a good idea to send Angie to the police station.

"William, I am going home. Don't forget to call me when you are cured. I will wait for your call." Angie said with a lovely air.

When Angie passed Vivian and Selina, she looked at them disdainfully. She lowered her voice so that only the two of them could hear what she said, "I am waiting for you to sue me."

Selina almost wanted to hit smug Angie on the face with her fists.

Selina angrily said to William, "William, you just let her get away with that? Don't you think you owe Vivian an answer?" It vexed Selina to see Angie left without being punished.

The look in William's eyes stayed unchanged. He ignored Selina and said to Vivian in a low voice, "Don't imagine things blindly. I will give you an answer in regard to what happened today, but not now. Selina was completely irritated.

Vivian raised the corner of her mouth and said coldly, "Not necessary. William, Angie is right. Indeed, she is your fiancée. I totally understand why you favor her. But I hope you could take Roe into consideration at this moment. Now that you acknowledge he is your son, please be responsible for his safety. I will not allow Roe stay in a dangerous environment."

"What do you mean?" William squinted at Vivian, knowing something bad was going to happen.

Vivian said in a light voice, "I would like to cancel our previous agreement. I want to take Roe away from here."

"Vivian, do you really think you can provide the best medical treatment for Roe?" William's chest heaved slightly. He was totally irked.

The anger in his eyes seemed to be able to set Vivian on fire.

Vivian raised her eyelids and looked at William straight in the eyes. "If I can't do that, my friend will help me. I will do my best to provide medical care to Roe. I can borrow money. I will have Roe live well no matter what I do, but I will not let Roe live with you."

"Hmm, you do have the guts." William mocked at Vivian, "If you want to do so, I am okay with it. But we'll see how you can take Roe away from me. Vivian, wait for being called to the court. You will accept your losing the case willingly. By then, you can only beg me for a visit to Roe." Vivian looked pale and anxious, her palms getting sweaty.

This was the part that made her most insecure. William was a lawyer. He had wealth and connections. He had ten thousand ways to win the case and to win the custody of Roe.

The rim of Vivian's eyes got reddish as she said, "William, could you think about Roe's feelings?"

"A four-year-old was not fully mentally mature, which meant he was easily influenced by adult around him. Therefore, I didn't need to think about Roe's feelings. By the time I got his custody, I have many ways to make him only remember his father and forget his mother." William continued his heart-breaking speech, and coldly stared at Vivian's miserable look in her eyes.

Selina couldn't stand by. She held Vivian's hands and glared at William, "William, are you a normal human being? You already made Vivian suffer enough from this. What do you want more?"

"Miss Selina, this is very a personal business between me and Vivian. You have nothing to do with this. I advised you not to involve yourself in our business. By the way, you are not welcome here." William said drily. Then he turned to his staff and said to them, "See Miss Selina off."

"William, what the fuck..." Selina was taken away by William's staff, cursing William.00000
