My dear lawyer

Chapter 403 What is Wrong with You

Vivian helped fix Roe's arm, after a tube of blood was drawn.

Though this little guy did not even blink as he got used to this pain, it was hard for Vivian to watch as a mother.

She gently massaged Roe's arm, and asked the nurse, "Is it over?"

"Yes Miss Vivian, the examination for Roe is all done today. I will get the result for him at 7 P.M. You can leave now." said the nurse.

Vivian nodded, and left with Roe.

William indeed put lots of efforts in the design. There was a specific building served as a medical facility not far from where they lived and abundant flowers blossoming along the whole way.

However, Vivian seemed mind-wandering the whole time.

Roe noticed and looked at her several times. Seeing that his mom was not responding to his stares at all, Roe stopped walking.

"Mom, is there anything bothering you?" said Roe.

Vivian was speechless for a second, and said jokingly, "What can bother me? Even if there is something in my mind, you could not help me with it."

Well, the response just upset Roe.

He thumped his chest confidently. Come on... he was a man, Ok?

"Is it because Grandma is here?" Roe directly got to the point.

"Why do you think like that?" Vivian got astonished for a second.

"Because you have been acting weirdly ever since this morning, when you knew Grandma was coming. You are even weirder after seeing her. Mom, don't you like Grandma? If you do not like her, I wound not like her either." said Roe. He opened eyes widely and looked at Vivian seriously.

Vivian laughed out of relief. She pinched Roe's nose. "Grandma treats you so well. How sad she will be if she heard your words."

Roe pouted. Except his dear mother, he did not care if others were sad or not!

Vivian got what Roe was thinking immediately after seeing that pouted face.

She knew her own son very well.

Roe's little puffy face was full of seriousness and loyalty, highly similar to that of William.

Looking at her son, Vivian could not help feeling warmed and happy, and most of those worries seemingly went away.

Yeah, she should always trust her bonding with Roe and his love for her.

"Roe, don't think too much, Ok? Grandma loves you so much and brings you expensive gift. You should treat Grandma well too, Ok?" said Vivian.

In this way, even if William stopped caring about Roe after getting more kids with other women, at least people in William's family would not despise her son.

Roe acted like he was pondering for a while, then nodded.

Vivian finally felt relieved.

When they were almost home, her cell phone started ringing.

She signaled Roe to go in first, and peeked at the screen. It was Selina.

Damn! She just realized that William's decision was so urgent that she did not even have a chance to tell Selina about what was going on. Maybe Selina was worried, looking for her in the hospital. "Hey Selina" Vivian was guilty, "Sorry I left the hospital in a hurry and didn't tell you."

"Yeah I know. Someone had told me already. I am in front of the manor right now. What the hell is wrong with those dumbass security guards? They don't even let me in!" Selina sounded upset. "Um... I am kind of dumb." thought Vivian.

How could William's actions escape Grace's information network? How could Grace not tell Selina?

"Selina, wait for a moment. Let's talk when we meet." Vivian did not answer her directly after pondering for a while.

Expectedly, Selina was stunted for a while, and then blew up, "What is wrong, Vivian? Such a huge manor is not open to me for a visit? Or William confined you, and banned others to get in? Huh?" Vivian sighed, "Wait for a moment. I am getting to you."

Selina knew Vivian well as a close friend. Of course, she would not really blame her for that. She was simply blaming William the asshole in her mind.

Sitting in the car, Selina glared at the two security guards unpleasantly, feeling stressed out.

She randomly looked out of the window, and saw the building in front of that magnificent manor. William was really a freaking rich guy.

An avenue shaded by trees caught her attention. What was behind was a private playground inside the manor surrounded by fences. Outside, there was a delicate road with two lines of exuberant trees on both sides.

An inconspicuous car parked over there, almost blended in with the environment in its grayness.

"Wait..." Selina found that car kind of familiar.

Curiously, she got off the car to get a clearer look. While approaching the car, she suddenly realized why it looked familiar.

This was Angie's car!

Did that mean that Angie was also blocked outside?

Gloating over this thought, Selina felt much better.

"What are you looking at?" Angie noticed her while she was approaching in the beginning. Selina's gloating face especially annoyed her, so she rolled down the window to glare at her.

Selina folded her arms over the chest with a smirk look, "Wow, look at that, isn't that Miss Angie? I guess she is here to visit her boyfriend. Oh, I heard that he is inside right now. Why won't Miss Angie go in? Or... did she just break up with him? Umm..."

"Selina! What the heck is wrong with you?" Angie got mad when her inner thought got exposed, "How does that have anything to do with you? Who do you think you are? You are just a stupid dog of that bitch Vivian. Don't even try to act like somebody! Just remember, I will teach you a lesson someday."

"OMG, I am so scared!" Selina pretentiously shivered and laughed, "The great Miss Angie no longer acts sweet anymore, but starts screaming like a shrew now. Oh, who knows if William will suffer from insomnia tonight after seeing the real you?"

"Se-li-na!" Angie glared at her with full hatred. The coldness in her eyes could have killed Selina for a thousand times.

However, Selina did not give that mad look a shit, and was still smiling with a smirk face. This was what always drove Angie crazy.

Suddenly, the two guards opened the door, and someone walked out.
