Brian glanced at them and asked in a frigid tone, “So you claim she stole your ring?”
The three exchanged glances, and Adalyn spoke up, her tone laced with skepticism. “That’s right. Is she a designer from your

Brian fixed his gaze on her and let out a derisive sneer.
“You think my woman would steal your diamond ring?”

Rosalynn cleared her throat and said, “I am a designer working in his company.”

Brian cast a glance her way, raising an eyebrow.
“Indeed, she is an employee whom I hold in high regard. Following a successful collaboration, I presented her with jewelry worth
millions of dollars. Do you truly believe she would be enticed by a mere diamond ring valued at a few hundred dollars?”
His tone dripped with doubt and disdain.
Adalyn, her anxiety mounting, found the courage to press on. “You have no idea how scheming this woman can be. She had a
camera with her during our business discussion. They say thieves don’t think normally.
I bet she’s not right in the head. Allowing someone with such issues to remain employed could tarnish your company’s
reputation. You surely wouldn’t want that, would you?”
Upon hearing Adalyn‘s accusations, Brian turned to look at Rosalynn.
“Did you carry a camera with you during your business discussion?”
Rosalynn nodded in affirmation. “Yes, I purchased a mini camera earlier.”

She had a lot of things.
Brian was visibly pleased by her response. He affectionately ruffled her hair and said, “You’re quite the smart one.”
Rosalynn was speechless.
