Mr. Right, Spoil Me

Chapter 178 Emily Came With A Bright Complexion

"Come on, just go."

It was the third time for Sarah Cox to urge Andrew Bask. She stood at the door, and waited for Andrew to tie the necktie and wear the shoes.

"I will go when Anne Talbot comes here."

Andrew said in a firm voice.

"Are you afraid that we, two women, will do something to betray you?"

Sarah held her chest with her arms, and asked with her head aside.

Andrew was speechless. When did he think like this?

"I need to warn Anne something. There is nothing useful here, so I will ask someone to send some furniture here if you want to cook yourself. And, you don't touch anything heavy. Let her do those tough jobs." Sarah's eyes turned aside with abnormal feelings as she heard his explanation.

The room became quiet suddenly.

Soon, the sound of the doorbell broke the ice. Sarah hurriedly opened the door. There was Anne Talbot, with breakfasts in her hands.

"Excuse me, please. It's too heavy."

Anne directly stepped into the house without changing her shoes. The breakfasts in her hands were too heavy.

"Why did you buy so many breakfasts?"

Sarah looked at the breakfasts. The fragrance had aroused her appetite.

Anne took a deep breath, and glared at Andrew. "Your husband asked me to buy breakfast for you. He even didn't ask you what you would like, so I had to buy all kinds of breakfasts. Here you are."

Anne handed a bun to Sarah.

Sarah took it with a smile. "You've really done a hard job. I'm gonna cook for you today."

The bun tasted great.

Anne was glad to hear this. "Great, it's not easy for me to get rid of Ernest. We should cherish the day we have."

Anne liked the dishes Sarah cooked, because it was so yummy.

"Fine." Sarah smiled, and bit the bun again.

The man, from the beginning to now, standing at the door, was neglected. He could only say something after the two women stopped talking. "The furniture will be sent soon. Anne, don't let Sarah carry anything heavy, understand?"

It was the first time for Anne to see Andrew's kindness to Sarah. It was amazing.

Maybe it was because Sarah now was suffering a tough time after losing the baby.

Anne would also like to be kind to Andrew, for his kindness. "Alright, I know."

"Remember to stay in touch. Oh, you should call me every hour. I'm afraid I will forget to call you."

Anne started at Andrew with gloom. This man was even more aggressive than Ernest!

At least Ernest offered her free time to play with her friend.

This man even asked her to call him every hour in her free time!

Fine, maybe he became so cautious because of the trouble Matthew Scott had made.

Anne thought this was a good situation.

"Alright, I know."

Sarah chuckled quietly.

Promising something didn't mean they would do as Andrew said.

Andrew finished everything he could say, and then glanced at Anne with his bottomless eyes.

He walked out of the door, but suddenly he turned back. "Oh, I will ask someone to send the lunch to you, but remember to wait for me for dinner." Finally, he left.

Anne sighed quietly. Andrew must be regretful much now!

Perhaps he finally found Sarah was a treasure after such a long time!

"Honestly, Andrew looks kind to you."

Sarah didn't speak. She lowered her head and gazed at the breakfast, but her inner world was not peaceful actually.

Sarah went to change her clothes, while Anne was busy cleaning up the living room. Suddenly, her phone rang. It was not so long after Andrew left. Anne answered the phone. "Andrew Bask! Are you..." "I need to tell you something. Does Sarah stay with you?"

The deep voice on the phone stopped Anne's shout. "She's not here. She's in your room. What's going on?"

Sarah wore a simple dress when she went out. She also particularly put on a coat, because she could not suffer the chillness now.

Sarah smiled at Anne. "Do I look pretty?"

Anne was stunned there. She managed a rigid smile. "You look...pretty."

She walked to Sarah, and then hugged Sarah tightly, but didn't say anything, making Sarah confused.

Then Sarah heard Anne's sob, full of depression and sorrow.

"What's going on? Why are you sobbing?"

"I...I don't know..."

Anne's sob turned louder, and her arms became tighter.

Sarah even couldn't understand why Anne suddenly cried. She just had changed the clothes.

"Are you crying for me? Don't be sad. I have...already stopped my depression, so you should also be happy."

Sarah took some tissues to wipe Anne's tears.

"Can't I be sad?"

Anne said in an aggressive voice.

Sarah was speechless. "Alright, what's done is done. Let's watch some TV plays. Is there any great soap opera recently?"

Sarah changed the topic and wanted to stop Anne's sorrow.

"Yes, I know one interesting play."

Anne wiped her tears away, and looked glad.

Sarah couldn't help smiling as she saw Anne's mood change so fast like a child.

"It's this. It's really funny."

Anne showed Sarah the TV play she had found. Then the two women began to watch the TV.

...

When the two women spent their time happily, the atmosphere in Andrew's office was depressing.

Andrew signed another contract, but whenever he signed his name on the contract, he would glance at his phone.

There was nothing on the phone, still. Andrew pushed the phone away irritably and signed his name quickly.

"Mr. President, what are you looking for?"

Sandy Wilson was confused. Why did Mr. President come to work and leave his wife alone at home? He should have taken good care of his wife at home, since his wife lost her baby not so long ago. "Nothing important."

Andrew put the pen into the pen container, and rubbed his face with impatience.

Sandy had found the abnormal atmosphere. He hurriedly wanted to escape. "Can I go out?"

"Go out." Andrew ordered.

Sandy took a deep breath, and hurriedly ran out of the office.

Coincidentally, as Sandy went out, he saw Emily, with a smile on her face, walked over.

She wore the white knitted coat, the long-collar skirt, and the gray graceful long dress.

Her flat shoes looked common, but it was the newest edition of a famous brand.

Her long hair was flying in the air as she walked, graceful and attractive. She subconsciously smoothed her hair back and pulled her coat collar up high as she saw Sandy. "Mr. Wilson, is Andrew inside?"☐☐☐☐☐
