Mr. Powell Is Hunting for His Wife

Chapter 12: The Perfume Sent by Anna

All men were the same, even those handsome ones!

If Brooklyn really dared to ask her to sleep with him, she would immediately leave this company. She had dozens more way to revenge Mirabelle even without Brooklyn.

Diana's red lips evoked a sneer smile. She didn't expect that her baby's father was no different from those men outside, and he was also a lusted person.

Brooklyn raised his eyebrows and leaned back, his upper body sinking comfortably into the comfortable work chair.

He lazily looked at the woman in front of him, she wore a sexy and attractive make up, tall figured and had delicate curves.

When they first met, she was flirtatious and took the initiative to kiss him, as if she was trying to tell him that she was trying to seduce him.

But now, Diana's sleepy eyes shone a wave of anger, and her white and tender cheeks were blushed in redness.

It was not because of shyness, but because of anger.

Interesting.

Brooklyn moved his thin lips and said, "Harper is right, my assistant really doesn't need to accompany me to sleep."

"Then why are you requesting me to rest with you?" Diana crossed her arms in front of her chest and thought that he meant something other than just resting together. She was not a three-year-old kid. Brooklyn knew that she had misunderstood his words, but it was fun to tease her.

He pressed the remote control, the closed door in the office opened automatically, inside was a luxuriously decorated bedroom. There was a spacious and comfortable king size bed, transparent glass wine cabinet, a sofa, a closet, and everything a person needed. From the first glance, she knew he had been playing around with women during the usual days.

"Mr. Powell, I didn't know that you, the person who made the Powell Group into the leading enterprise in China, are like every other man. I never thought that you'll want to sleep with your female subordinates." Brooklyn raised his eyelids and looked at her from the top to the bottom.

A few seconds later, he got up and walked lazily to her front, "I'll sleep on the bed, and you sleep on the sofa."

Diana opened her eyes slightly, and she looked at the man who was looking at her from above in surprise.

He would sleep on the bed and she would sleep on the sofa?

What kind of game was this?

After admiring Diana's stunned expression, Brooklyn lowered his eyes in satisfaction and flicked her forehead with his fingers, "That's what I meant, I sleep on the bed and you, on the sofa. This is your punishment, if you couldn't finish your task, you can't go to the negotiation meeting with the Hill couple."

After he finished speaking, he stretched out his long legs and walked towards the bedroom, leaving the dumbfounded Diana staring at his back.

When she came back to her senses, she went into the bedroom after him.

Next to the spacious white bed, there was a dressing stool, on which rests the suit and tie that Brooklyn just took off.

And on the sofa, which had some distance from the bed, placed a delicate soft pillow and a goose fur quilt.

Although it was a sofa, it was actually about the same size as a double bed, so it was enough for two people to lie down in it.

It seemed that Brooklyn asked her to accompany him to rest was merely just sleeping and not doing other things. Plus, they would sleep separately.

Although the request was strange, it did not cause her any substantial loss.

In addition, she did not rest well last night. It would be a good thing the grab this opportunity to catch some sleep.

Diana took off her high heels, lay on the sofa and covered herself with the quilt.

As she closed her eyes, she felt sleepy instantly, and soon enough, she felt asleep. Brooklyn, who was lying on the bed, opened his eyes and looked toward the sofa.

Diana looked like an obedient and tame rabbit, sleeping sounded in her nest.

Even Brooklyn did not notice that he had a faint smile on his lips. This was very rare for a guy like him, who seldom show his gentle expression towards any women.

Since the last time Anna left his office, he hadn't rest well because of the high intensity of his work. But now, he felt sleepy all of a sudden.

For the first time, it might be a coincidence. For the second time, it might be a coincidence. So today, he would let her to rest with him to see if it was really just a coincidence.

The atmosphere in the room was filled with the mysterious and gentle fragrance of Diana's body and it made Brooklyn feel a little sleepy.

He didn't try to hold back his drowsiness and allowed himself to fall asleep with that scent swirling around him. That scent made him feel at ease.

Before falling asleep, he had a thought in his mind, which was, he would keep this interesting woman by his side, no matter what.

Diana didn't know how long she had slept, and when she woke up, the sky outside the window had turned into the color of sunset.

Gosh, had she been sleeping until the late afternoon?

Diana hurriedly looked towards the spacious bed and found that there was no sign of Brooklyn at all.

She hurriedly lifted the quilt away from her body, changed into high heels, hurriedly organized her clothes that had become a bit messy because of resting and pushed open the room door. She bumped into Harper who was reporting work to Brooklyn.

Harper looked at her as if he saw a ghost in front of him.

Why did Anna come out of Mr. Powell's private room?

Mr. Powell would never bring a woman into this room; even Miss Mirabelle didn't have the opportunity to do so.

Did Anna really sleep with Mr. Powell in just less than a week?

Harper was so shocked that he even forgot to continue reporting his work.

Brooklyn looked at her and said, "You're awake?"

Diana nodded her head and replied, "Yes."

Harper was confused, what kind of conversation was this? Could it be that Anna really sleep with Mr. Powell?

If other employees dared to speak to Mr. Powell with this attitude, they would have been fired long ago!

Brooklyn withdrew his eyes from her and spoke coldly, "Continue to report your work."

With the sound of Diana opening the door and leaving the office, Harper felt that all his perspective he had developed during the years of time of working for Brooklyn were shattered into pieces.

"Ms. Moss, this is your parcel." The maid put a sturdy parcel on Mirabelle's dressing table.

Mirabelle was leaning on the sofa to apply her mask, she lifted her eyelids slightly, "Who sent it?"

After reading the information on the parcel, the maid replied, "It was sent by a person named Anna.”

Mirabelle, who was absent-minded just now, got up from the sofa immediately.

The money hadn't been wasted! Anna successfully completed the perfume in three days!

She would not spare her if the perfume had a different scent from the sample that she gave her.

"You go out first."

Mirabelle was afraid that the maid would find out that it was a perfume. So, she gave the maid a stack of cash and sent her away.

Three beautifully packaged perfume bottles lied quietly in the box.

Mirabelle took out a bottle, opened it and sprayed it gently on her wrist. She lowered her head and smelled it. To her great surprise, it smelt exactly the same as the three bottles of perfume that belonged to Diana!☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
