Chapter 35: All Fake

In the middle of the night.

Sandra woke up.

She opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling.

A trace of alertness flashed in her eyes.

But soon, the alertness disappeared..

She turned her head and looked at the small bed beside her.

She was sleeping on the big bed while Wesley was sleeping on the small one.

She sat up and sighed softly.

In the past, she only let her guard down and fell asleep by her master’s side.

But today, she actually fell asleep beside Wesley in the car.

She didn’t even know when they got out of the car.

She rubbed her eyes.

She felt much better and her mind was clear.

She got up and nudged Wesley.

“Get up. It’s time for acupuncture!”

Wesley, who was tired from carrying her to bed, weakly replied, “Hmm…”

The next day.

Zachary arrived at the Cooper Villa

Sandra had just gotten out of bed when she heard about it.”

She had given acupuncture to Wesley late into the night and only slept when it was dawn.

Now she was tired.

If it wasn’t for Zachary making so much noise, she might have slept until noon.

In her nightgown, she looked lethargic.

She leaned against the railing on the stairs.

She looked down at Zachary in annoyance.

“Mrs. Cooper, you’re just getting up now? How are you going to take care of Mr. Cooper?”

Zachary thought that Sandra was truly a rude country bumpkin.

There was a hint of disdain in his @ngry eyes.

Sandra retorted, “Do I have to report to you every time wake up?”

Zachary pressed his lips.

“Of course not, but since you’ve married into the Cooper family, you should prioritize the family’s interests.

“Zachary,”

Sandra sneered.

“This rule doesn’t apply anymore.”

Zachary was speechless.

“Mrs. Cooper, you should be careful with your words. Although I am just a servant, I have been serving the Cooper family for decades!”

Sandra retorted, “Did I force you to do it?”

Zachary gritted his teeth,

“Since I didn’t force you or exploit you, why are you acting so judgmental?”

Zachary could barely suppress his anger.

“Mrs. Cooper, is this how the Hill family educated you?”

Sandra smiled, “I see, so your family taught you to criticize others to gain a sense of superiority, right?”

Zachary was so angry that he had to cover his chest and take deep breaths.

Sandra maintained her mocking smile.

Zachary snorted, “Mrs. Cooper, there is no point in arguing.”

Implicitly, they both knew who was right and who was wrong in this matter.

Sandra sneered.

She didn’t want to argue with him either.

Zachary continued, “I came here today to give you something.”

Sandra raised an eyebrow, “Hmm?”

“You asked Madam Cooper for money, didn’t you? Well, the money is ready now. You can check it.”

Zachary acted arrogant as if he were dismissing a beggar.

Sandra walked down the stairs slowly. “Since you’ve been serving the Cooper family for decades, you must have done a good job. Read the gift list to me.”

Zachary’s eyes widened.

If he could, he really wanted to bite Sandra to death!

Hailey was forced to give money.

And Debra was no better.

Debra didn’t give in to Sandra, and Sandra was targeting her at the company.

Sandra always said that she brought good luck.

What a ridiculous statement!

If she truly brought good luck, why would the Cooper family suffer?

But anyway, Sandra was Wesley’s wife.

Even

though Zachary didn’t want to, he had to show her respect.

He was afraid that if he offended Sandra, she would mess with Hailey.

Chapter 35 AliFake

Zachary took a deep breath to suppress his anger.

He brought the gift list and read it.

Hailey gave Sandra some cash and some jewelry and assets.

However, because these assets were worthless, they had to list more to meet the quota.

Zachary’s throat was dry when he finished reading the list.

However, Sandra didn’t offer him any water, and no one else dared to intervene.

Sandra brought a cup of tea and took a slow sip. “You read too fast. I didn’t hear clearly. Read it again.”

Zachary gasped.

His throat hurt when he finished reading it for the second time.

He could barely speak.

Sandra finally got up and approached the boxes.

She had the boxes opened and cross–checked them against the gift list.

Zachary’s throat was in pain now, otherwise, he would accuse her of disrespecting Hailey.

She should be grateful that Hailey gave her so much money.

She should go to the Cooper Mansion immediately to thank Hailey for her kindness.

But Sandra was just a rude country bumpkin from the countryside.

She behaved as if these precious items were ordinary.

She was so ungrateful.

Suddenly.

Sandra grabbed a box.

She looked at Zachary with a half–smile. ‘Zachary, I know you have difficulty speaking now, but I still have to say, Madam Cooper has been…”

Although his throat hurt, Zachary couldn’t allow anyone to disrespect Hailey.

“Humph, so you also know that Madam Cooper has been good to you? Then go to the Cooper Mansion and thank Madam Cooper.”

Sandra glanced at him indifferently.

“Madam Cooper has been good to me….

“Then it must be you!”

Her smile suddenly became sinister.

“All the jewelry in this box is fake.”

They were all priceless.

She was not only challenging Hailey but also insulting the Cooper family.

How could someone as noble as Hailey use fake items?

Zachary couldn’t believe it.

He glared at the items in the box, clenching his teeth.

In his decades in the Cooper family, he had seen and owned many pieces of jewelry.

Although he was not as professional as an appraiser, he had an appreciation for jewelry.

When he saw the emerald bracelet in the box, his eyes widened in disbelief.

Then, he took out the bracelet, turned on the flashlight on his phone, and examined it carefully.

Soon, he seemed to have been greatly shocked and fell to the ground.

Sandra didn’t give him any chance to recover. “Zachary, you see what’s going on, right?”
