Chapter More 26
Chapter 26: Reverse
The commotion in the technical depar ent immediately attracted a
lot of attention.
Of course, it was also because the company’s system had been. hacked, and these people couldn’t work for now.
The design department, which was close to the technical department, was the first to receive the news.
But no one dared to get involved.
After all, Wesley, the person in charge of the design department, was meticulously examining the design drawings.
They were curious but didn’t dare to make any move.
Joey came over with a document and was surprised to see everyone craning their necks to look outside.
He handed the document to Wesley but before he could speak, Wesley spoke first.
“You seem so eager to know what’s happening. Go ahead.”
Joey’s eyes widened.
Wesley glanced up, looking displeased.
“Aren’t you going to push the wheelchair?”
Joey walked over in confusion and held onto the wheelchair.
He hadn’t exerted any force when the wheelchair automatically moved forward.
Joey was speechless.
He had no choice but to catch up.
Chapter 26: Reverse
In others‘ eyes, Joey walked fast as if he was eager to see the commotion in the technical department.
Joey couldn’t even explain.
But since Wesley had gone, the employees all rushed to the entrance of the technical department,
Debra let out a sigh.
“Owen, don’t get so worked up.”
She then looked at Sandra.
“Sandra, since we discovered this before you made too many mistakes, let’s just forget about this matter.”
Owen pretended to be furious.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, I know you want peace, but this is the Cooper Group!”
He frowned.
“Sandra is indeed new here. She may not be skilled, and she may even be lazy or unwilling to work, but she mustn’t have the intention of stealing company secrets!
“We can’t keep a thief in the technical department!”
The others in the technical department echoed.
They seemed to be eager to kick Sandra out of the company right
away.
Debra pretended to be in a dilemma.
“Sandra didn’t do it on purpose. I believe she won’t do this again.”
She looked sincerely at Owen.
Chapter 26. Reverte
“Take it easy. It’s more important to get the system back online.”
Owen pursed his lips.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, she can stay in
company, but the technical
department can’t accept her.”

Debra sighed.
The employees started discussing.
“Is she trying to control the company? She’s thinking too much.”
“Mrs. Debra Cooper never intended to compete with her. She is truly an ignorant country bumpkin!”
“She might not have even attended college. She doesn’t deserve to be the deputy director.”
“I can’t believe she tried to steal company secrets on her first day at work. How stupid.”
Taking advantage of the situation, Owen once again put pressure on
Debra.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, you owe us an answer!”
After a pause, he intentionally raised his voice.
“It’s me or her!”
Outside the door, Joey, standing next to Wesley, became a bit worried.
“Mr. Cooper, should I go in and help Mrs. Cooper?”
Wesley remained calm as if he wasn’t worried about Sandra at all.
“No need.”
Joey whispered, “What if Mrs. Cooper is really expelled from the company? It will be difficult for you to stay in the design department.”
Chapter 26 Reverse
A slight smirk appeared on Wesley’s lips. “She won’t.”
Joey didn’t understand.
What did Wesley mean?
Sandra wouldn’t be kicked out of the company? Did she understand coding?
Wesley stopped talking and fixed his deep eyes on Sandra.
Sandra’s gaze remained fixed on the computer screen.
She pressed the keys on the keyboard decisively and effortlessly, unlike someone who had never used a computer before.
“That’s it.”
While everyone was discussing how to get rid of her from the company, she suddenly spoke up.
Everyone stopped talking.
Debra didn’t even have a chance to announce the expulsion of Sandra from the company.
The entire technical department fell silent, all eyes fixed on her.
“Mr. Pope, take a look.”
Sandra stood up and made room for Owen.
Owen snorted and approached the computer without even glancing at
her.
The code on the computer was scrolling quickly.
But as an experienced technician, no matter how fast the code.
scrolled, he could still understand it.
Realizing what the code represented, he instantly turned pale.
Chapter 26. Reverse
“How is this possible?”
As the director, he had always been emotionally stable and had never lost his composure in front of so mar cople.
The rest of the technical department rushed forward and looked at the computer screen in disbelief.
The code that had just invaded the company now became the code strengthening the company’s firewall.
Everyone gasped in shock.
Debra had a bad feeling, and her face became livid.
“What’s wrong with all of you? What’s going on?”
Sandra shrugged. “I’m just an ignorant village girl. Let Mr. Pope explain.”
Owen rubbed his face hard to calm himself down.
He took a deep breath and gritted his teeth.
“The code Sandra wrote earlier wasn’t attacking the company’s
system but rather maintaining the company’s firewall.
“In simpler terms, she wasn’t harming the company but rather doing her job to protect the company’s system.”
Everyone was stunned.
Sandra was just a village girl who hadn’t even studied computer technology!
Debra felt dizzy upon hearing this.
“Owen, are you sure you’re not mistaken?”
Owen lowered his head.
He actually wished he had been mistaken.
Chapter 26. Reverse
Sandra gave a mocking smile.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, what do you mean? Didn’t you just promise to protect me? Now that I’ve proven my innocence, why aren’t you happy?
Debra felt embarrassed.
She smiled awkwardly, “Don’t, get me wrong.”
After a pause, she forced a smile.
“I’m just happy for you. It was a misunderstanding.”
She took a few steps forward, pretending to care for Sandra.
“Since it was a misunderstanding, let’s put an end to this matter.”
Sandra sneered and took a few steps back.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, it’s not just a misunderstanding. Mr. Pope’s slander against me is a criminal offense. I will hold him legally responsible.”
With a mocking expression, she looked at Owen.
“Mr. Pope, what do you think?”
Owen’s eyes were still fixed on the computer screen. He couldn’t believe that he had misjudged.
