Chapter More 24
Chapter 24: Will She Give Up if I’m Afraid?
Just thinking about these things mac
bra feel much better.
She chuckled.
“Now that you’re here at the company, you need to work hard. I know you just got married and your departments are close to each other, but I hope you can maintain some distance.”
She was a good actress.
Others would say that she sincerely meant well for them.
The Cooper Group was strongly against office romances since they could lower work efficiency.
Of course, it didn’t mean that employees of the Cooper Group were
not allowed to date each other.
But if two people from the same office or nearby offices started dating, one of them had to be transferred.
So, many people bottled up their feelings even if they liked someone for fear of being transferred.
Sandra smiled politely, “That’s a pity. Mr. Victor Cooper didn’t come today, otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to work in the president’s office.”
Debra was also one of the presidents and managed many
departments with high profits.
Now, her position in the Cooper Group was crucial.
But even so, she couldn’t ignore the rules of the Cooper Group.
As Sandra said, if Victor came to work, she would have to move out.
What made her even more anxious was that Victor had recovered

quickly and was already prepared to come to work.
But she really liked her current office, and there were secrets inside.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper.” Debra’s secreta
Brittany Hayes approached
her. “Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Cooper can
eport now.”
Debra, who was angry at the thought of Victor, instantly found an
outlet.
“How many times do I have to say it? Don’t be servile at the company. Are you servants of the Cooper family?”
Brittany quickly apologized.
Debra then felt a bit calmer.
She forced a smile and said to Wesley and Sandra, “Alright, you can go report now. If you have any questions, feel free to come to me.
Debra was always “busy” but still took care of the “newbies,” so she naturally gained everyone’s praise.
Sandra nodded sincerely.
“I will definitely come find you.”
The smile froze on Debra’s lips.
She didn’t expect Sandra to be so straightforward.
During the morning, Sandra approached her seventy times.
And every time, it was for trivial matters.
Like where to find the charging equipment.
Or how to use the card at the water dispenser.
Debra was in charge of half of the Cooper Group, but she had to personally handle such small matters.
She was almost driven crazy.

“You can go ask my secretary.”
She got impatient.
Sandra looked innocent.
“But you said that if I have any questions, I can come to you. Your secretary won’t help me without your permission.”
Debra regretted saying that.
She took a deep breath and struggled to calm herself down.
“Okay, I’ll instruct her to find someone to assist you.”
Sandra didn’t reply.
It was almost lunchtime.
“Okay, but shall I still come to you if I have any questions?”
Debra was speechless.
She wanted to say no.
But she had promised at the entrance of the Cooper Group in the morning, and she had to keep her word.
She didn’t want to be laughed at.
She rubbed her temples, “If others can’t solve it, you can come to me.”
The impatient look on Debra’s face pleased Sandra.
She hated people who pretended to be nice.
She naturally wanted to expose Debra’s true colors.
But it was a pity.
Debra had been pretending for many years. Her disguise couldn’t be easily destroyed.
Sandra didn’t insist and left the office.
Brittany hurriedly came in.
“Mrs. Cooper, should we teach her alle

n?”
“Do you have any good ideas?”
Brittany thought for a moment and whispered.
“Sandra is currently in the technical department, and there are many
things in there that could easily be messed up.”
After a pause, she cautiously glanced at Debra’s expression.
After realizing that Debra didn’t intend to protect Sandra, she
continued.
“If Sandra accidentally ruins some program, getting fired is the least, of her worries. It might even lead to imprisonment!”
Debra frowned for a moment.
A hint of ruthlessness flashed in her eyes.
“Okay, let’s do it your way. Be careful and don’t let anyone find out.”
Brittany nodded. She seemed confident as if she had done similar things before.
“I got this.”
When Sandra went to have lunch, Wesley followed behind her.
Sitting in a wheelchair, Wesley seemed quite relaxed.
Because of their special status, they didn’t need to personally line up for food. The person in charge of the cafeteria would personally bring
their meals to them.
Sandra talked while eating.
“It seems like you’re at ease in the design department.”
Wesley reminded her while eating elegtly.
“You’ll have a hard time in the afternoon.”
Sandra put a piece of steak in her mouth, “I’ll get through whatever difficulties come my way.”
“Aren’t you afraid that Debra will deliberately frame you and make you leave?” Although Wesley knew she had real skills, he couldn’t help but
be curious.
However, his expression remained indifferent.
It was hard to tell whether he wanted Sandra to leave or not.
Fortunately, Sandra had a strong mentality and good resilience.
“Will she give up on the Cooper family if I’m afraid?”
Wesley was speechless. Of course, the answer was no.
Sandra shrugged, “Then why should be in a bad mood?”
Wesley was looking forward to the afternoon.
After two hours.
Sandra had just arrived at the tech department when she was stopped by an intern.
“Mrs. Cooper, can you help me with this program?”
The intern was young and looked honest.
But Sandra wouldn’t be fooled.
She patted the intern’s shoulder meaningfully.
“It’s okay if you can’t deal with it now. You’ll figure out that…”
She smiled in a professional manner.
“There are still a lot of things you can’t deal with.”
The intern blinked blankly.
“Then, can you help me take a look now…”
“No.” Sandra refused without hesitation, “Because I can’t deal with it
either.
The intern was speechless.
Naturally, she couldn’t ask any further, or she would be exposed.
But Sandra had barely taken a few steps before another person stopped her.
