Chapter 143: Mason’s Progress

Sandra had no intention of paying attention to them at all.

Right after that, the actors were about to make an appearance.

Lisa whispered in her ear, “Several directors called me just now, they want to sign you.”

Sandra said, “You know I’m busy.”

Lisa asked, “Are you really not considering it?”

“To be honest, I do enjoy acting, but…”

Lisa knew what she was going to say. “Alright, I got it. You still want to find your master’s enemy.”

“You know me the best.”

Lisa looked at her with a mischievous smile, “Maybe it’s time to let someone else take my position. You can’t just keep him waiting.”

Sandra glanced at Wesley and found that he was actually looking at her.

Her ears turned slightly red as she pushed Lisa lightly.

“Stop it.”

Lisa chuckled, “He’s nice, firmly standing by your side.”

Lisa had been long time in the entertainment industry which made her had no expectations for marriage.

Now, seeing Wesley, she felt hope.

Sandra lowered her gaze, “There is someone in his heart, and we will divorce in about a year.”

Lisa didn’t take her words to heart. “People will change.”

Soon, the audition for male actors began.

Lisa was quite satisfied.

It didn’t take long for Vincent to make his appearance.

He played the role of a young master.

Although he wasn’t the male lead, this character had many twists and turns in the

movie.

The personality of the role underwent many changes, which was quite challenging.

Vincent played the part when the young master’s family encountered a big change.

He stood in the center and quickly got into character.

His eyes began to lose focus, and his face showed a hint of sorrow.

His hand held onto something, appearing very sad.

“Mom, Dad, rest assured.”

His tone was filled with grief. “I will avenge you, I promise!”

As he finished his lines, applause erupted.

Alisha happily grabbed his arm, “Vincent, your acting has improved so much.”

Vincent’s expression still held a touch of melancholy.

Alisha was surprised, “You’re not out of character yet?”

Vincent snapped out of his reverie and sighed softly, “I’m just lamenting the impermanence of life.”

“You really got into character!”

Sandra thought that his performance was average at best.

She gave it a five.

When Vincent heard his scores, he frowned at Sandra.

She was clearly seeking revenge.

Alisha accused her tearfully. “Sandra, you’ve gone too far. Vincent’s doing quite well. Are you intentionally suppressing him?”

Emily also spoke up, “Sandra, you’re hurting Vincent’s heart. We all care about you, but why are you doing this to your family?”

The others joined in the discussion.

“Didn’t they say that Sandra was accepted by the Hill family?”

“Emily was supposed to marry Wesley, but the Hill family asked Sandra to take her place.”

“Isn’t that a good thing?“.

“Don’t you remember? Wesley used to be in a vegetative state.”

“I see. It seems like the Hill prefers the fake heiress over the real one.”

“After all, they have been together for so many years.”

“No wonder Sandra wants to seek revenge.”

Facing the accusations, Sandra only responded, “I’m just doing my job.”

Kathryn whispered to her, “You’d better have a talk to the journalists later or they might write reports attacking you.”

This was a friendly reminder from an experienced person.

Sandra nodded, but she did not plan to take any action.

Lisa asked, “Are you sure you want to delay the progress of audition?”

There were still many actors after Vincent.

However, their acting skills were not as good as Vincent’s.

Not long, Mason came on stage.

He had a similar topic to Vincent’s.

It was about a young master who, after many years, encountered a memento from his parents.

It was a non–verbal performance.

Mason received the memento and his eyes were filled with disbelief.

Then, his eyes turned red. Bloodshot veins appeared in his eyes.

He tightly gripped the memento.

He bent over, as if crying.

It seemed like he wanted to say something, but because his emotions were too intense, he couldn’t utter a word.

Until he was about to suffocate, he let out a low roar with tears falling.

Although there were no lines, his performance created a solemn atmosphere at the

scene.

Many people started to shed tears as well.

Lisa immediately stood up and applauded.

Chapter 143. Mason’s Progress

The other judges were also astonished.

Sandra gave him a score of 8.

The other judges gave him a 10.

Seeing his scores, Mason was satisfied. “Thank you all.”

The rest of the people seemed to still be immersed in Mason’s performance and no one spoke.

Lisa walked over to Mason excitedly, “In last audition, my idea was to have you as an understudy. How did you improve to this level in such a short time?”

This was also everyone’s doubt.

Mason felt a bit embarrassed. “To be honest, I want to thank Sandra.”

Everyone: “???”

Why would you thank that village girl?

Just at that moment, a person suddenly appeared at the door.

“You didn’t mention anything about me, huh?”

“Lawrence!”

The judges all stood up instantly, showing great respect.

Lawrence waved his hand to them.

“I’m here to confirm my teaching achievements.”
