Chapter More 136
Chapter 136: Never Bring It Up Again
It was connected but quickly hung up.
Kyle dialed again and Emily’s phone was turned off.
If they still think that Emily is the same innocent girl as before, they will be truly foolish.
After a long silence, Vincent finally spoke, “Maybe Emily has suffered a lot and chose rebellion.”
Gary agreed, “She’s still that nice girl, just being rebellious for a while.”
Kyle glanced at them.
They were all finding reasons for Emily, but they all knew in their hearts.
Although the Hill has provided Emily with a lot of love, that little girl has grown up.
How could she still be innocent?
But this doesn’t affect their fondness for Emily.
Compared to Sandra who has been against her family all along, at least Emily has conscience.
But…
Kyle anxiously looked in the direction upstairs.
“Philip is eager to establish a connection with Mathew lately.”
Emily has enjoyed the care of the family for so many years. Why didn’t she offer her help this time?
“Let’s talk to her tomorrow.”
The rest agreed and went to sleep.
But Emily didn’t come back the next day either.
Vincent had an audition with Lisa and left.
The assistant personally came to pick him up.
Seeing Vincent’s expression, his assistant didn’t dare to speak.
In the morning, Sandra slowly opened her eyes.
Oh, the familiar ceiling.
She’s on Wesley’s big and soft bed.
It turns out her patient is quite considerate.
Last night…
Sandra didn’t dare to think about last night.
She lay on the bed, pretending to be dead.
The image of the aloof doctor she had created was completely shattered.
She just wanted to tease him. She didn’t Intend to take responsibility!
Sandra nervously looked towards the small bed.

He wasn’t there.
She felt relieved, believing that she hadn’t raped him last night.
When she sat up, the door suddenly pushed open.
Sandra: “…”
Wesley came in carrying breakfast.
“Eat.”
His tone was cold and distant.
It seemed like he was still angry.
Sandra immediately felt guilty.
For a moment, she didn’t know what to say.
“Not hungry?”
Wesley placed the tray on the nearby table.
“Well, I guess you ate a lot last night.”
Sandra suddenly felt embarrassed.
Last night, she thought he was paid to serve her and…
But in her dream, she was in the Arctic, watching an ice cube become a monster.
Now she’s truly unable to defend herself. She needs a lawyer.
“Wesley, I can explain. Last night, I…”
“You were just trying to improve your relationship with your patient?”
Sandra awkwardly smiled. This reason might be a bit far–fetched, but it’s better than nothing. “Yes.”
Wesley: “.

“I’m glad you didn’t misunderstand. Our relationship remains pure, right? Let’s just leave it at that and never bring it up again.”
It was just a mistake that any woman could make.
She wanted to distance herself from him again.
A touch of gloom flashed in Wesley’s eyes.
He changed the subject, “Are you going to the forum?”
Sandra nodded.
Thank god he finally changed the topic. She was almost suffocating!
“Is there something wrong with the forum? You seemed quite upset.”
Wesley: “…”
He was upset because of her.
Wesley rearranged his mood. “Sleep in your bed tonight.
Sandra was also upset now.
Chapter 136: Never Bring It Up Again
“Why?”
What person would willingly give up this bed?
Wesley said, “You drool has ruined three bedsheets.”
Sandra: “!!!”
Can’t he keep her dignity?
“I’ll go check Joey’s breakfast.”
Wesley brought breakfast earlier, but she didn’t dare to eat it.
She rushed out as if life being threatened.
Watching her flee like that, the corners of Wesley’s lips curled up.
It was the final audition day.
Charles gave Sandra a schedule, hoping she could arrive at the forum on time.
Sandra said, “If something happens, just call me.”
Speaking of call, she remembered receiving one call when she was drunk.
Why can’t she remember what was said? It probably wasn’t that important.
She had no idea that Mr. Deleon was almost going crazy.
Sandra drove to the set.
Lisa was already there. The makeup artist was doing her makeup, making her look more powerful. But Lisa’s state wasn’t great, as if she had been drained by eighteen men.
Sandra instinctively held her wrist and remarked, “You really go to extremes!”
Lisa rolled her eyes at her. “I was in heaven. What do you know?”
Sandra:

Lisa called another makeup artist to do Sandra’s makeup.
The makeup artist recognized Sandra.
Taking a deep breath, she picked up a makeup brush.
