Chapter 126: Wesley’s Itchy Heart

Emily stood there as Christopher hurried over.

The two of them chatted happily and even held hands.

This was no ordinary relationship.

Philip still couldn’t believe it.

“Maybe she doesn’t know Christopher’s true identity.”

Jagger sneered. “You still don’t know her well.”

Philip’s expression went bad. “Jagger, you’ve really been acting strange lately. It seems like you’re very interested in Sandra.”

He originally wanted to scold Sandra, but he swallowed his words.

Jagger suddenly asked, “Your paintings haven’t made a breakthrough yet?”

Philip was annoyed when it came to this matter.

He had originally thought that by becoming Ben’s disciple, he would have the opportunity to break through again and become a master painter.

But before Ben had the chance to teach him, all these things happened.

Now Ben drowned his sorrows in alcohol every day.

Ben had already saved up enough money. Even if he never sold another painting, he would still be financially independent. But his spirits couldn’t be saved by money.

Even if Philip wanted to find another teacher, no one was willing to take him in because of Ben.

Now that Sandra was more popular, people were even more contemptuous of him.

So, in terms of painting, he would never make a breakthrough again.

“You know it and still ask?

Jagger shook his head. “I just don’t understand why you always want to take shortcuts. Your painting talent was high.”

Philip coldly snorted, “You don’t understand painting, yet you lecture me.”

“Since you don’t listen to advice, forget about what I said. If you don’t believe me, you can listen to what they say,”

After saying that, Jagger turned around and left, as if saying one more word to Philip would be an insult to his intelligence.

Philip sneered at his words. But…

“Christopher, is it true?

“Of course it’s true. How could I let you down?”

“Then please tell Mathew that I will do my best to make him satisfied.”

“As long as you satisfy me first, you don’t have to think too much.”

Christopher’s words were somewhat vulgar,

Emily lightly beat his chest, “You’re annoying.”

Philip felt like he had been struck by lightning.

How could she…

He didn’t know how he left.

But on this road, the conversation between Emily and Christopher kept echoing in his ears.

If Emily had just found out about Christopher’s identity, she wouldn’t have talked about asking Christopher to help her get Mathew’s favor.

He bitterly smiled.

When Sandra returned to the villa, she was already too tired to speak.

It made Joey, who wanted to ask about Agkistrodon, swallow his words.

However, when Sandra went to take a bath, he mysteriously approached Wesley.

“Wesley, you should be careful of that Agkistrodon.”

Joey had investigated Agkistrodon’s information before, and it was simply a story of struggle.

Agkistrodon was just a child from an ordinary family.

But he was able to struggle to this point and become the core of Snake.

His strength was absolutely terrifying.

Joey couldn’t help but make a conjecture.

O

If Agkistrodon had the same background as Wesley, his achievements would be unimaginable.

Wesley sat on the sofa, flipping through medical books

When he heard Joey’s words, he smirked. “Just a snake.”

Joey: …”

Joey reminded him earnestly, “This is the poisonous snake that Sandra used to raise.”

A poisonous snake wouldn’t strike if it wasn’t provoked, but if it did, it would be fatal.

Wesley responded with a “hm.”

Joey still wanted to remind him, but Sandra had already come out of the bathroom.

Joey quickly withdrew.

In the room, there was only Sandra, who was drying her hair, and Wesley, who was reading a book.

“Where’s the hairdryer?

Her hairdryer was er invention. It could dry hair in one minute and was noiseless.

The best part was that the air blown out by the hairdryer contained some nutrients that could nourish the hair.

Wesley walked to the bedside, taking out the hairdryer.

“Why is it here?”

Sandra walked over and took the hairdryer from him.

Wesley’s tone was indifferent. “Last time you asked me to use it to dry my hair.”

Sandra didn’t remember.

Wesley raised an eyebrow and said, “You mentioned that as a patient, I should follow the doctor’s advice.”

Sandra remained silent, thinking that it sounded like something she would say.

However, she truly couldn’t remember.

Then, she felt a bit regretful. She rarely had the chance to give orders to Wesley.

Suddenly, she smiled brightly and threw the hairdryer at him.

“Wesley, I want to check the strength of your wrist. Follow the doctor’s advice and start drying my hair now.”

Wesley’s face showed a hint of helplessness. “If you want me to dry your hair, just ask.”

He rentained silent for a moment, then waved his hand. “Come here.

Sandra was a bit surprised. “Are you really going to do it?”

Wesley retorted, “I’m afraid that you will threaten me, saying you won’t continue treating me.”

Sandra couldn’t help but laugh.

She sat on the edge of the bed, with her back turned to him.

Wesley gently grasped a strand of her hair and turned on the hairdryer.

The breeze softly landed in his palm and evenly sprayed onto the strand of her hair.

Her hair was silky. It tickled.

This itchiness began to wander and eventually settled in his heart.

She used a shampoo with a faint scent of orchids, not overpowering but long–lasting.

It lingered in the breath, enduring.

The fragrance seemed to soothe the itch, wrapping around his heart like a protective barrier.

“Wesley?

“Hmm?

“You burnt my hair.” Sandra said morosely.
