Chapter More 103
Chapter 103: Through Death
Upon arriving at the entrance of Ofrea University, Sandra received a message from Wesley.
Shaun Fisher is an influential expert in the field of biotechnology in the country. Currently, he serves as a graduate advisor at Ofrea University.
When Shaun first came to Ofrea University, he brought his own project, so he had a strong influence within the university.
After reading the information, Sandra sneered.
Principal’s office.
Shaun sat on the sofa with an angry expression on his face.
Betty was standing beside him.
“Betty, you can’t just let it go.” Shaun said, looking disdainfully towards Rebecca.
Rebecca was dressed lightly, with her wrists injuried.
Even when her father’s life was hanging by a thread and she had to work multiple jobs to support her family, she didn’t look as haggard as she did now.
Her eyes were empty, lacking the sparkle they used to have.
It felt as if she had become numb.
Mathew let out a sigh. “I was only away on a business trip for a few days, what happened? Rebecca almost died. If I hadn’t happened to pass by, the consequences would have been unimaginable!”
Shaun became even angrier.
“Mathew, I don’t think so. Maybe Rebecca deliberately put on a show for you because she knew you would pass by.”
Being humiliated like this, Rebecca remained expressionless as if she hadn’t heard a word.
Mathew said, “This is so unfair! The way you speak to Rebecca is rude!”
Shaun sneered.
“Rebecca was jealous of Betty’s grades and deliberately stole Betty’s thesis. I thought she was talented and could be my assistant. However, She stepped on her classmates to get ahead and hurt Betty. Her conduct was extremely despicable!”
Betty quickly held him back. “Mr. Fisher, you just had a heart surgery. Please don’t get agitated.”
Shaun looked at Mathew. “You see, Betty’s a good student, not only excelling academically but also being kind. Unlike Rebecca, who had plagiarized and refused to admit it. She even insulted me! She has never respected me! I expelled her and reported her to the police because she had crossed my bottom line!”
If someone felt wronged, they would definitely argue back.
But Rebecca remained unchanged.
Her eyes barely moved. She seemed like a puppet.
Mathew didn’t immediately refute but waited for Shaun to calm down.

“Shaun, the evidence you provided is not sufficient and cannot be used as a basis for expulsion and reporting to the police. If Rebecca is really being wrongly accused, you will regret this.”
Shaun was about to explode upon hearing this. “Regret? If Rebecca is really being wrongly accused, I would do a live broadcast and kneel down to apologize!”
The door was kicked open.
The sound startled Shaun, making him tremble.
The security guard was shouting from behind,
“I apologize, Mr.Crawford, for failing to intercept this individual.”
Mathew roared, “What…”
Before he could finish his sentence, his gaze fell upon the person at the door.
Sandra was dressed in a sportswear, with a duckbill cap adorning her head.
Her face emanated a fierce and resolute expression.
She appeared like a deity of death breaching the door.
In that instant, everyone in the office was silenced.
As if being choked, they dared not utter a word.
“Rebecca.”
Seeing Rebecca’s condition, she retrieved a pill from her hand and placed it into Rebecca’s mouth. Rebecca instantly regained her senses, as if awakening from a dream.
“Sandra…” she stammered.
As she spoke, all the grievances that she had been holding back flooded out uncontrollably.
Feeling embarrassed by her own tears, she quickly wiped them away with her hand.
Then, in a nervous tone, she pleaded, “Please don’t inform my parents, Sandra. I dare not ask you to take care of them, but I hope that if they encounter any difficulties, you can offer them a little assistance. In my next life, I would be willing to serve you devotedly, to repay your kindness.”
Sandra grabbed hold of her arm, steadying her.
“I am aware of the situation. To become so desperate over a trivial matter is so unnecessary.”
Tears surged in Rebecca’s eyes.
She knew that she had brought shame upon herself and that her future prospects were now dim.
It was even possible that Sandra’s laboratory would be implicated.
She felt that her existence was nothing more than a burden to others.
Only through death could she end this.
