Moonlit Fur Chronicles: Torn Fur

Chapter 9 Love’s Touch

“Okay, y’all. This is what we are going to do. Since you all seem to think I’ll be a good Alpha, y’all are crazy….but I’ll give it a shot,” I addressed my new pack. “There’s no bowing and scraping. No begging. No brown-nosing. We are going to be a family. My name is Reese and I’d like you to call me by my name. Not ‘my alpha’ or ‘your highness’ master’ or any of that crap. I am Reese. We are going to help each other. Take care of one another. Treat each other with the respect we all deserve.” Heads nodded and people smiled. “I may be ‘the Alpha’ but I want everyone to have a voice and to be heard. You all are important and valued. And quite frankly I need all the help I can get. Casey, has agreed to help and advise me with all this so feel free to go to them with questions…I guess… Casey, wave to our new friends.” Casey lifted their hand in greeting.

“Okay do we all know each other’s names? No? Okay, Casey, start us off.” Casey stood up, “I am Casey. I have them/them pronouns. Fun fact about me. I used to be a mechanic.” River introduced herself next, her fun fact was she was romantic partners with Casey. Everyone took a turn and introduced themselves, offered pronouns and fun facts. The idea of a large plot of land, a sanctuary for the wolves once again entered my mind. Maybe I could turn this dream into a reality. I’d talk to Casey later, get their opinion. I felt so weird, these people looked up to me to be their role model and the idea terrified me. Quinn must’ve picked up on my anxiety. She looked me in the eye and squeezed my hand twice. “You’re doing great,” she mouthed. I squeezed her hand twice in return.

As the sun began to hide behind the trees, my wolves mingled amongst themselves and got to know each other. ’My wolves’ oh that’s a scary thought. I was so not ready to be the Alpha. “No, don’t bother her. Phi, we will figure it out ourselves.” I focused my attention on the voice of Jules. He was trying to keep Phoenix from doing something. I walked over and asked, “Is everything okay?” Jules looked up for a second and hurriedly dropped his gaze, “yes Ma’am. No problems here.” I thought I saw a hint of fear in his eye. “Jules, stop it. She’s not like Chad. You heard her earlier.” Phoenix stood up and began, “Ms Reese” I shook my head, “Reese, not Ms Reese. Wow that douchebag really messed you guys up huh?” Phoenix dropped her gaze, “Reese, um we were kept close to the pack. We don’t know much about the area. Do you have an idea where we might sleep tonight?” Phoenix took an involuntary step back, as if she was expecting a fist flying at her. My heart broke watching their reactions. I could feel a tear forming in my eye. “Yes, let me find out for you.” I turned and took big steps toward Casey. They saw my approach and excused themself from the conversation.

“Casey, it’s heartbreaking, these people have been treated so badly! They simply asked where they could sleep and backed away as if I was going to hit them! They insist on calling me Ms Reese. What should I do?” Casey offered an apologetic frown. “Let them call you Ms for now. Once they get more comfortable we can address it later. As for the sleeping quarters, do all four need help or just some of them?” “I think it’s all four,” I answered. “The way Jules tried to hush Phoenix when she tried asking for help. It hurt my heart. I could see the fear in his eyes….” Casey hung their head, “yes, all too often the wrong kind of people become alphas. Usually the strongest, most dominant, meanest ones. I’ll take care of it. Don’t worry about it.” He took a step away, “oh and Reese, you’re doing a good job. Keep listening to your heart. It’ll keep you human.” Casey turned to leave, a lone tear escaped and ran down my face. Everyone had confidence in me except me. This was going to be harder than I thought. I really wanted to hug them, my new wolves, tell them it was going to be okay. They weren’t ready for that just yet. It broke my heart.

Casey checked in with me and told me they would take the new wolves with them and River. Quinn stayed close to me, she seemed to sense my stress and anxiety. I flashed her a grateful smile. She squeezed my hand twice. I returned the gesture. I began to see a pattern in her hand squeezes. Casey and River took the newcomers to their camp for the night. Quinn and I walked back to our dorm. We tumbled into bed exhausted. It had been a long several days. I snuggled up to Quinn and she whispered in my ear, “You did a great job today, Reese. It’s been a hard week and you handled it really well.” I kissed her. Oh she tasted so good. I felt my body beg for more. I wanted more. I needed more.

I whimpered softly as Quinn ran her finger across my shoulder, down my side and onto my hip. She giggled, “Do you like that?” “Mhmm,” I moaned. My body shivered with anticipation. I craved her touch. Quinn dragged her finger over my lips, traced my neck, and down the center of my chest. “Oh,” I gasped. A warm tingling flooded my body. “Quinn, that was nice!” She kissed my neck and I moaned. Her finger drew an imaginary line on my waist. My body reacted, my hand leaped to her leg and squeezed tightly. “Oh! Is that how it’s gonna be?” Quinn smiled and climbed on top of me, her legs straddled my thighs. She kissed my neck, I gasped, “Oh Quinn!” She continued to kiss me up and down my torso. My skin tingled at her touch. She kissed my waist and thigh. My breaths were short and heavy. She was driving me wild. My body trembled with pleasure. Quinn teased me, ran her tongue along the inside of my thigh. I moaned loudly. Quinn slowly made her way up my leg, her tongue exploring every inch. “Please, no more. Don’t tease me,” I begged.

I smashed a pillow into my face to stifle a scream. I wiggled and squirmed under her tongue. She held onto my legs tight and relentlessly used her tongue between my thighs. My hips thrust against her strong arms. The louder I moaned, the more enthusiastically Quinn licked me. My breaths were hot and heavy, my body shivered and trembled with pleasure. I felt like I was about to explode. My back arched and my toes curled. My body froze in sweet agony. I screamed in my pillow, warm juices squirted from between my legs and all over Quinns face. “Good girl, Reese,” she purred. “Good girl.” I couldn’t breathe, I had never felt like this before. It was incredible! I couldn’t move so I just lay there, enjoying the aftermath. Quinn cleaned her face and climbed back into bed beside me. She wrapped her arm around me and held me tight against her. “Quinn, I panted. “You have to teach me how to do that to you!” She laughed sweetly. “Next time I’ll teach you a few tricks.” A wave of aftershock forced my body to quiver violently for a moment. “Aftershock,” I murmured once I could breathe again. Quinn giggled. We snuggled until sleep took us.
